< Galatians 4 >

1 But I say: —for as long a time as, the heir, is an infant, he differeth, nothing, from a servant, though, lord of all,
Belam toombaat ibah—hewah nyamka chote ah nodek tokdi jirep ah khomchoh abah uh dah likhiik ih ang ah.
2 But is, under guardians, and stewards, until the [day] fore-appointed of the father:
Heh noodek ang tokdi, heh wah ih saapoot thiin kota ah maang langlang, heh sokboite mina loong rah ih tim jamha erah jam koh ah.
3 So also, we, when we were infants, under the elementary principles of the world, were held in servitude;
Erah likhiikkhiik seng loong ah chiiala ni maang hak hak mongrep pante chiiala dah angti.
4 But, when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, who came to be of a woman, who came to be under law, —
Eno saapoot ah chang kano, Rangte ih heh Sah miimi daapkaat taha. Heh ah mina nuh lam ih raaha no Jehudi Hootthe mong ni tong ra taha,
5 That, them who were under law, he might redeem, that, the sonship, we might duly receive; —
Hootthe mong ni tongte loong ah dokrik ra taha, timnge liidih seng loong ah Rangte suh asah jen ang raangtaan ih ah.
6 And, because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, exclaiming, Abba! Oh Father!
Rangte ih heh susah ngeh noisok halan raangtaan ih Rangte ih Chiiala seng ten ni daapkaat taha, marah Chiiala “Ewah, Ewah” kah riinghuungta rah ih ah.
7 So that, no longer, art thou a servant, but a son; and, if a son, an heir also, through God.
Erah ang abah, sen loong ah dasah lakah ang thang heh sah ih hoon lan. Eno amadi sen heh sah angthoi, Rangte ih heh jinni heh susah loong suh kot suh jeela erah kohan.
8 But, at that time—not knowing God, ye were in servitude unto them who, by nature, are not Gods;
Jaakhoh ni bah sen ih Rangte ah tajattan, eno sen loong ah Rangte lah angka loong dasah ang tan.
9 Whereas, now, having acknowledged God, —or rather, having been acknowledged by God, how turn ye back again unto the weak and beggarly elementary principles, unto which, over again, ye are wishing, to come into servitude?
Enoothong belam bah sen ih Rangte ah ejat ehan—ngah ih jen li eh ang Rangte ih sen loong ah ejat ih halan—enooba sen loong larook lata nyia menmi chanke panha chiiala loong jinnah mamah ih ngaakkaat suh thun han? Erah doh dasah we hoonkaat suh mamah ih thun han?
10 Days, ye do narrowly observer, and months, and seasons, and years: —
Sen loong ih mararah heh rangwuung, heh la, rangkuh, nyia heh paang ah hoondak ih bansok han.
11 I am afraid of you—lest by any means, in vain, I should have toiled for you!
Ngah sen suh esootsaam elang! Ngah sen raangtaan ih molang ah thaangmuh doh tam ang kah ah?
12 Become ye as, I, because, I also, [was] as, ye, —brethren, I entreat you. Not at all, have ye wronged me.
Phoh ano loong, sen lasih joh rumhala, nga likhiik ang we an. Mamah liidoh ngah uh sen likhiik ang lang. Sen ih nga raang ih timjih uh tathet reetan.
13 Howbeit ye know that, by reason of a weakness of the flesh, I myself announced the glad-message unto you, formerly;
Ngah ih sen suh hephang di ruurangese ah tim suh nyootsoot rum taha ah taat dokthun et thaak an, ngah esat thoidi ruurangese ah nyootsoot rum taha.
14 And, your trial, in my flesh, ye despised not, neither spat ye [in disgust], but, as a messenger of God, ye welcomed me—as Christ Jesus.
Enoothong ngah khoisat ah sen suh lase kaabah uh sen ih tah chiik tahe, tah phanhaat tahe, erah thaknang ibah sen ih Rangte taangnawa rangsah tam ra hala ngeh banpoon tahe; sen ih Kristo Jisu suh kah banpoon ah jih banpoon tahe.
15 Where, then, is the happiness ye accounted yours? For I bear you witness—that, if possible, your eyes, ye would have dug out, and given unto me.
Sen loong rapne ih roon tan ah! Mamah angta? Ngah ih jen baat mok erumha sen mik ah ejen doklot choi ang abah ngah suh kohe ngeh ah.
16 So then, your enemy, have I become, by dealing truthfully with you?
Amiisak tiit ah baat rumha no ngah sen damdi piiara tam ehoon lang?
17 They shew a zeal for you, not honourably, but wish, to shut you out, in order that ye may be zealous for, them.
Wahoh loong ih sen suh neng thung ah koh ano sok halan, enoothong neng tenthun ah ese tah angka. Neng ih sen ah nga taangnawa pheehoom suh thun rumha, mamah liidih neng ih mongnook lam ih thun halan erah likhiik sen eh uh emamah toomwe ngaak thun an suh ah.
18 Howbeit it is, honourable, to show zeal in what is honourable at all times, and not only when I am present with you; —
Sok thaak an, sen loong raangtaan ih timthan ese ang ah marah sen raangtaan ih ese ang ah erah doh senthung sentak ah mok koh an bah ah—arah bah saarookwe amiimi, ngah sen damdoh je ang doh luulu tah angka.
19 My dear children! for whom I, again, am in birth-pains, until Christ be formed within you; —
Nga mongnook suh asah loong, Kristo dang ajang ah sen damdoh maang dongdong ngah noonuh nootup suh kasat ah likhiik, nga ten uh emamah ih sat lang.
20 I could wish, however, to be present with you, even now, and to change my voice, —because I am perplexed regarding you.
Ngah amadoh sen damdoh angtang bah timthan ese ang thengta, ngah ih sen ah toongtang lam ih lamse nah siit theng rum taha. Ngah sen suh rapne ih sootsaam lang!
21 Tell me! ye who, under law, are wishing to be: The law, do ye not hear?
Ngah ih jengkhaap cheng rum thaak ha, ngo ngo ah Hootthe lalih nah tong suh nook thaak ah: Hootthe ih timjih kali ah tatam kachaat kan?
22 For it is written, that, Abraham, had two sons—one by the bondmaid, and one by the free woman;
Eradi liiha Abraham suh heh sah enyi angta, wasiit ah danuh dowa sah angta, wasiit ah heh minuh mi dowa sah angta.
23 But, he that was of the bondmaid, after the flesh, had been born, whereas, he that was of the free woman, through means of a promise.
Heh sah dah nuh nawa tupta ah jojang ih tupta, enoothong heh minuh mi nawa tupta abah Rangte ih kakhamta jun ih tupta.
24 Which things, indeed, may bear another meaning; for, the same, are two covenants, —one, indeed, from Mount Sinai, into bondage, bringing forth, the which is Hagar, —
Arah nyi tiit ah tiitthaak ngeh samthun theng: nunyi ah nuumiijeng enyi di toobaat ha. Noodek esiit tupta danuh men ah Hagar eno he ah langla Sinai hakong adi jengdang kakhamta rah to baatta.
25 And, the Hagar, is Mount Sinai, in Arabia, —she answereth, however, unto the present Jerusalem, for she is in bondage with her children;
Hagar ah Arabia hah nawa Senai kong raangtaan ih ngoot baat ha ah langla amadi Jerusalem samnuthung raang ih angla, erah samnuthung nyia erah ni tong rum ano dah rumla loong ah nyoot baat ha.
26 But, the Jerusalem above, is free, —the which is our mother;
Enoothong rangmong dowa Jerusalem abah dah lakmong ni tah angka, heh ah seng loong nuh.
27 For it is written—Be gladdened, O barren one! that wast not giving birth, break forth and shout, thou that wast not in birth-pains, —because, more, are the children of the deserted one, than of her that had the husband.
Mamah liidih Rangteele ni liiha, “Tenroon ang an, ngo sumuh ang lan long ah! Tenroon ih riing araak an, ngo satup di lah thaak satte loong o! Mamah liidih neng miwah ih amah sah uh ladaap haatka minuh thaknang ibah neng miwah muh loong taangnah neng sah ehan ang ah.”
28 And, we, brethren, after the manner of Isaac, are children of a promise.
Nga joonte loong Rangte ih kakhamta jun ih sen loong ah Rangte suh asah, Isak angta likhiik ah.
29 But, just as, then, he that after the manner of the flesh had been born, did persecute him who [had been born] after the manner of the Spirit, thus, also now.
Erah tokdoh marah Rangte Chiiala jun ih tupta miwasah rah, jojang ih tupta miwasah rah ih siiwi ah; erah amadi emamah angla.
30 But, what saith the scripture? Cast out the serving woman and her son; for in nowise shall the son of the serving woman inherit with the son of the free.
Enoothong rangteele ni mamah raangha? Eradi amah raangha “Danuh nyi heh sah miwah sah rah dok phanhaat ih an; mamah liidih danuh mong nawa dong taha miwasah rah heh wah jinnah wa nyamka ah tah choka, changte wah minuh mi dowa tupta miwah sah kah choh ah likhiik ah.”
31 Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a serving woman, but of the free: —
Erah raangtaan ih nga joonte loong, seng loong ah danuh sah ah tah angke enoothong changte minuh mi suh, seng loong ah heh sah.
