1 Thessalonians 1

1 Paul and Silvanus and Timothy—unto the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ, —favour unto you, and peace!

เปาล: สิลฺวานสฺตีมถิยศฺจ ปิตุรีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย จาศฺรยํ ปฺราปฺตา ถิษลนีกียสมิตึ ปฺรติ ปตฺรํ ลิขนฺติฯ อสฺมากํ ตาต อีศฺวร: ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏศฺจ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรตฺยนุคฺรหํ ศานฺติญฺจ กฺริยาสฺตำฯ

2 We are giving thanks unto God continually, concerning you all, making, mention, in our prayers,

วยํ สรฺเวฺวษำ ยุษฺมากํ กฺฤเต อีศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทาม: ปฺรารฺถนาสมเย ยุษฺมากํ นาโมจฺจารยาม: ,

3 Unceasingly, remembering—your work of faith and labour of love and endurance of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father:

อสฺมากํ ตาตเสฺยศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาตฺ ปฺรเภา ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏ ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาเสน ยตฺ การฺยฺยํ เปฺรมฺนา ย: ปริศฺรม: ปฺรตฺยาศยา จ ยา ติติกฺษา ชายเต

4 Knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election, —

ตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ นิรนฺตรํ สฺมรามศฺจฯ เห ปิยภฺราตร: , ยูยมฺ อีศฺวเรณาภิรุจิตา โลกา อิติ วยํ ชานีม: ฯ

5 How that, our glad-message, came not unto you, in word only, but also in power, and in Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, —even as ye know what manner of men we became unto you, for your sake;

ยโต'สฺมากํ สุสํวาท: เกวลศพฺเทน ยุษฺมานฺ น ปฺรวิศฺย ศกฺตฺยา ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา มโหตฺสาเหน จ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺราวิศตฺฯ วยนฺตุ ยุษฺมากํ กฺฤเต ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย กีทฺฤศา อภวาม ตทฺ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺชฺญายเตฯ

6 And, ye, became, imitators of us, and of the Lord, giving welcome unto the word, in much tribulation, with joy of Holy Spirit;

ยูยมปิ พหุเกฺลศโภเคน ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา ทตฺเตนานนฺเทน จ วากฺยํ คฺฤหีตฺวาสฺมากํ ปฺรโภศฺจานุคามิโน'ภวตฯ

7 So that ye became an ensample unto all who were coming to the faith, in Macedonia and in Achaia:

เตน มากิทนิยาขายาเทศโย รฺยาวนฺโต วิศฺวาสิโน โลกา: สนฺติ ยูยํ เตษำ สรฺเวฺวษำ นิทรฺศนสฺวรูปา ชาตา: ฯ

8 From you, in fact, hath sounded forth the word of the Lord—not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but, in every place, your faith which is toward God, hath gone forth, so that, no need, have we to be saying anything;

ยโต ยุษฺมตฺต: ปฺรตินาทิตยา ปฺรโภ รฺวาณฺยา มากิทนิยาขายาเทเศา วฺยาปฺเตา เกวลเมตนฺนหิ กินฺตฺวีศฺวเร ยุษฺมากํ โย วิศฺวาสสฺตสฺย วารฺตฺตา สรฺวฺวตฺราศฺราวิ, ตสฺมาตฺ ตตฺร วากฺยกถนมฺ อสฺมากํ นิษฺปฺรโยชนํฯ

9 For, they themselves, concerning us, do tell—what manner of entrance we had unto you, and how ye turned unto God from the idols—to be serving a living and true God,

ยโต ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย วยํ กีทฺฤศํ ปฺรเวศํ ปฺราปฺตา ยูยญฺจ กถํ ปฺรติมา วิหาเยศฺวรํ ปฺรตฺยาวรฺตฺตธฺวมฺ อมรํ สตฺยมีศฺวรํ เสวิตุํ

10 And awaiting his Son out of the heavens—whom he raised from among the dead, —Jesus: Who is to rescue us out of the anger that is coming.

มฺฤตคณมธฺยาจฺจ เตโนตฺถาปิตสฺย ปุตฺรสฺยารฺถต อาคามิโกฺรธาทฺ อสฺมากํ นิสฺตารยิตุ รฺยีโศ: สฺวรฺคาทฺ อาคมนํ ปฺรตีกฺษิตุมฺ อารภธฺวมฺ เอตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ เต โลกา: สฺวยมฺ อสฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยนฺติฯ
