1 Chronicles 26
1 To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
Hii ndiyo migawanyo ya mabawabu: Kutoka kwa wana wa Kora alikuwa: Meshelemia mwana wa Kore, mmoja wa wana wa Asafu.
2 and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;
Meshelemia alikuwa na wana wafuatao: Zekaria mzaliwa wa kwanza, Yediaeli wa pili, Zebadia wa tatu, Yathnieli wa nne,
3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
Elamu wa tano Yehohanani wa sita na Eliehoenai wa saba.
4 And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
Obed-Edomu naye alikuwa na wana wafuatao: Shemaya mzaliwa wa kwanza, Yehozabadi wa pili, Yoa wa tatu, Sakari wa nne, Nethaneli wa tano,
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.
Amieli wa sita, Isakari wa saba, na Peulethai wa nane. (Kwa kuwa Mungu alikuwa amembariki Obed-Edomu.)
6 And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.
Shemaya mwanawe pia alikuwa na wana, waliokuwa viongozi katika jamaa ya baba yao kwa sababu walikuwa watu wenye uwezo mkubwa.
7 the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.
Wana wa Shemaya ni: Othni, Refaeli, Obedi na Elizabadi; jamaa zake Elihu na Semakia walikuwa pia watu wenye uwezo.
8 All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.
Hawa wote walikuwa wazao wa Obed-Edomu; wao na wana wao na jamaa zao walikuwa watu wenye uwezo pamoja na nguvu za kufanya kazi. Wazao wa Obed-Edomu jumla yao walikuwa sitini na wawili.
9 And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.
Meshelemia alikuwa na wana na jamaa zake, waliokuwa watu wenye uwezo: jumla yao watu kumi na wanane.
10 And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.
Hosa, Mmerari, alikuwa na wana wafuatao: Shimri alikuwa mkuu wao (baba yake alikuwa amemweka yeye kuwa mkuu ijapokuwa hakuwa mzaliwa wa kwanza),
11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.
Hilkia wa pili, Tabalia wa tatu na Zekaria wa nne. Wana na jamaa za Hosa jumla yao walikuwa watu kumi na watatu.
12 To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.
Hii migawanyo ya mabawabu, kupitia wakuu wao, walikuwa na zamu za kuhudumu hekaluni mwa Bwana kama jamaa zao walivyokuwa nazo.
13 Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.
Kura zilipigwa kwa kila lango, kufuatana na jamaa zao, wakubwa kwa wadogo.
14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.
Kura ya Lango la Mashariki ilimwangukia Shelemia. Kisha wakapiga kura kwa Zekaria mwanawe, aliyekuwa mshauri mwenye hekima, nayo kura ya Lango la Kaskazini ikamwangukia.
15 To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.
Kura ya Lango la Kusini ikamwangukia Obed-Edomu, nayo kura ya maghala ikawaangukia wanawe.
16 To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.
Kura za Lango la Magharibi na Lango la Shalekethi kwenye barabara ya juu zikawaangukia Shupimu na Hosa. Zamu za walinzi ziligawanywa kwa usawa:
17 Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.
Kulikuwa na Walawi sita kila siku upande wa mashariki, wanne upande wa kaskazini, wanne upande wa kusini, na wawili wawili kwa mara moja kwenye ghala.
18 For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.
Kuhusu ukumbi kuelekea magharibi, kulikuwa na wanne barabarani na wawili kwenye ukumbi wenyewe.
19 These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
Hii ndiyo iliyokuwa migawanyo ya mabawabu waliokuwa wazao wa Kora na wa Merari.
20 And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.
Katika Walawi, Ahiya alikuwa mwangalizi wa hazina za nyumba ya Mungu na mwangalizi wa hazina za vitu vilivyowekwa wakfu.
21 The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;
Wazao wa Ladani, waliokuwa Wagershoni kupitia Ladani na waliokuwa viongozi wa jamaa za Ladani Mgershoni, walikuwa Yehieli,
22 the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
wana wa Yehieli, wana wa Zethamu na wa nduguye Yoeli. Wao walikuwa waangalizi wa hazina za Hekalu la Bwana.
23 Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.
Kutoka kwa wana wa Amramu, wana wa Ishari, wana wa Hebroni na wana wa Uzieli:
24 And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.
Shebueli, mzao wa Gershomu mwana wa Mose, alikuwa afisa mwangalizi wa hazina.
25 And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
Jamaa zake kutoka kwa Eliezeri, wanawe walikuwa: Rehabia, Yeshaya, Yoramu, Zikri na Shelomithi.
26 The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:
Shelomithi na jamaa zake walikuwa waangalizi wa hazina zote za vitu vile vilivyowekwa wakfu na Mfalme Daudi, kwa viongozi wa jamaa waliokuwa majemadari wa maelfu na majemadari wa mamia, na kwa maafisa wengine wa jeshi.
27 out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.
Baadhi ya nyara zilizotekwa vitani waliziweka wakfu kwa ajili ya ukarabati wa Hekalu la Bwana.
28 And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.
Kila kitu kilichokuwa kimewekwa wakfu na Samweli mwonaji, na Sauli mwana wa Kishi, Abneri mwana wa Neri, na Yoabu mwana wa Seruya, pamoja na vitu vingine vyote vilivyokuwa vimewekwa wakfu, vyote vilikuwa chini ya uangalizi wa Shelomithi na jamaa zake.
29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.
Kutoka kwa wana wa Ishari: Kenania na wanawe walipewa kazi nje ya Hekalu kama maafisa na waamuzi juu ya Israeli.
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.
Kutoka kwa wana wa Hebroni: Hashabia na jamaa zake, watu 1,700 wenye uwezo, waliwajibika katika Israeli magharibi ya Yordani kwa ajili ya kazi zote za Bwana na utumishi wa mfalme.
31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;
Kuhusu wana wa Hebroni, Yeria alikuwa mkuu wao kufuatana na orodha ya jamaa yao. Katika mwaka wa arobaini wa utawala wa Daudi uchunguzi ulifanyika katika kumbukumbu, nao watu wenye uwezo miongoni mwa wana wa Hebroni wakapatikana huko Yazeri katika Gileadi.
32 and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.
Yeria alikuwa na jamaa ya watu 2,700 waliokuwa watu wenye uwezo na viongozi wa jamaa, naye Mfalme Daudi akawaweka kuangalia Wareubeni, Wagadi na nusu ya kabila Manase kuhusu kila jambo lililomhusu Mungu na shughuli za mfalme.
