< Psalms 19 >

1 The heavens declare the kavod ·weighty glory· of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Polo hulo duongʼ mar Nyasaye; kor polo nyiso tich mar lwete.
2 Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
Odiechiengʼ kodiechiengʼ gilando wach; otieno kotieno ginyiso rieko.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not sh'ma ·heard obeyed·.
Gionge dhok kata weche kata dwondgi ok winji.
4 Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Kata kamano dwondgi chopo kuonde duto e piny, wechegi osechopo nyaka e tunge piny. Osechungo hema e kor polo ne wangʼ chiengʼ,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
machalo gi wuon kisera mothinyore oko kawuok e ode mar mor, kendo mana ka jangʼwech mongirore moil moikore ni chako ngʼwech.
6 His going out is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends; There is nothing hidden from its heat.
Owuok gie tungʼ polo konchiel, kendo olworore nyaka komachielo; onge gima opondo ne liet mare.
7 Adonai’s Torah ·Teaching· is perfect, restoring the soul. Adonai’s testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
Chik Jehova Nyasaye longʼo chuth, odwogo chuny. Buche mag Jehova Nyasaye gin adiera, gimiyo joma riekogi tin bedo mariek.
8 Adonai’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Adonai’s mitzvah ·instruction· is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Chike mag Jehova Nyasaye nikare, gichiwo mor ne chuny. Chike mag Jehova Nyasaye rieny, gichiwo ler ne wangʼ.
9 The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. Adonai’s judgments are true, and upright altogether.
Luoro Jehova Nyasaye en gima ber, mosiko nyaka chiengʼ. Buche mag Jehova Nyasaye gin adier kendo gin kare kargi giduto.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
Gibeyo moloyo dhahabu, moloyo dhahabu malerie moloyo; gimit moloyo mor kich moa e pedni.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
Gin ema gimiyo jatichni bedo motangʼ; kendo bedogi kanyo kelo pok maduongʼ.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
En ngʼa manyalo ngʼeyo kethone mopondo? Wena kethoga mopondo.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great rebellious breach of relationship.
Bende gengʼ jatichni kuom richo mag wich teko; mad kik gibed gi loch kuoma. Eka anabed maonge ketho, anabed ka aonge gi ketho chik moro maduongʼ.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the higgayon (meditation) of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Adonai, my rock, and my redeemer.
Mad weche mawuok e dhoga, kod paro manie chunya, obed malongʼo e nyimi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, Lwandana kendo Jawarna.
