< Psalms 119 >

1 א ('ashreiy, Blessed) Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Adonai’s Torah ·Teaching·.
ALEF Blagoslovljeni so neomadeževani na poti, ki hodijo v Gospodovi postavi.
2 א ('ashreiy, Blessed) Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart.
Blagoslovljeni so tisti, ki ohranjajo njegova pričevanja in ki ga iščejo z vsem srcem.
3 א ('ap, Also) Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.
Tudi ne počno krivičnosti; hodijo po njegovih poteh.
4 א ('atah, You) You have enjoined your precepts, that we should fully obey them.
Ti si nam ukazal, da se marljivo držimo tvojih predpisov.
5 א ('achalay, Oh that) Oh that my ways were steadfast to obey your statutes!
Oh, da bi bile moje poti usmerjene, da se držim tvojih zakonov!
6 א ('az, Then) Then I would not be disappointed, when I consider all of your mitzvot ·instructions·.
Potem ne bom osramočen, ko se oziram k vsem tvojim zapovedim.
7 א ('odka, Shall give thanks) I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.

S svojim celotnim srcem te iščem; o ne pusti me oddaljiti se od tvojih zapovedi.
11 בּ (Bekhal-kibiy, With whole-my heart) I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin ·err (from the standard goal)· against you.
Tvojo besedo sem skril v svoje srce, da ne bi grešil zoper tebe.
12 בּ (B'libiy, In my heart) Blessed are you, Adonai. Teach me your statutes.
Blagoslovljen si ti, oh Gospod; úči me svojih zakonov.
13 בּ (Baruch, Blessed) With my lips, I have declared all the judgments of your mouth.
S svojimi ustnicami sem oznanjal vse sodbe tvojih ust.
14 בּ (Bees'pati, With my lips) I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
Veselil sem se na poti tvojih pričevanj, toliko kakor v vseh tvojih bogastvih.
15 בּ (Bideirek', In the way) I will meditate on your precepts, and consider your ways.
Premišljeval bom o tvojih predpisih in se oziral k tvojim potem.
16 בּ (Bipeekudeyka, On your precepts) I will delight myself in your regulations. I will not forget your word. GIMEL גּ
Razveseljeval se bom v tvojih zakonih. Ne bom pozabil tvoje besede.
17 גּ (Gimol, Deal / Do good) Do good to your servant. I will live and I will obey your word.
GIMEL Radodarno ravnaj s svojim služabnikom, da bom lahko živel in se držal tvoje besede.
18 גּ (Gal-'eiyni, Open-my eyes) Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your Torah ·Teaching·.

19 גּ (Geir, Sojourner) I am a stranger on the earth. Don’t hide your mitzvot ·instructions·from me.

20 גּ (Gar'sah, Has crushed) My soul is consumed with longing for your judgments at all times.
Moja duša slabi zaradi hrepenenja, ki ga ima ob vseh časih do tvojih sodb.
21 גּ (Ga'ar'ta, Have rebuked) You have rebuked the proud who are cursed, who are lead astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error·from your mitzvot ·instructions·.
Oštel si ponosne, ki so prekleti, ki zaidejo od tvojih zapovedi.
22 גּ (Gal, Take) Take reproach and contempt away from me, for I have kept your testimonies.

26 דּ (Diraki, My ways) I declared my ways, and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.
Oznanil sem svoje poti in ti si me slišal; úči me svojih zakonov.
27 דּ (Derek'-pekoodeyka, Way-of your precepts) Let me understand the teaching of your precepts! Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.
Daj mi razumeti pot tvojih predpisov; tako bom govoril o tvojih čudovitih delih.
28 דּ (Dal'pah, Melts) My soul is weary with sorrow: strengthen me according to your word.
Moja duša se topi zaradi potrtosti; okrepi me glede na svojo besedo.
29 דּ (Derek'-sheker, Way-of false) Keep me from the way of deceit. Teach me your Torah ·Teaching· in your favor!
Od mene odstrani lažnivo pot in mi milostno podéli svojo postavo.
30 דּ (Derek'-'emoonah, Way-of truth) I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your judgments before me.
Izbral sem pot resnice, tvoje sodbe sem položil pred seboj.
31 דּ (Dabak'tiy, I cling) I cling to your testimonies, Adonai. Don’t let me be disappointed.
Prijel sem se tvojih pričevanj, oh Gospod; ne izroči me v sramoto.
32 דּ (Derek-mitz'vohteyka, Journey-your commands) I run in the path of your mitzvot ·instructions·, for you have set my heart free. HEY ה
Tekel bom pot tvojih zapovedi, ko boš razširil moje srce.
33 ה (Hovreniy, Teach me) Teach me, Adonai, the way of your statutes. I will keep them to the end.
HE Úči me, oh Gospod, pot tvojih zakonov in tega se bom držal do konca.
34 ה (Habiyneniy, Give me understanding) Give me understanding, and I will keep your Torah ·Teaching·. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.
Daj mi razumevanje in bom čuval tvojo postavo; da, obeleževal jo bom s svojim celotnim srcem.
35 ה (Had'riykeiniy, Make me to go) Direct me in the path of your mitzvot ·instructions·, for I delight in them.
Stôri mi, da grem po stezi tvojih zapovedi, kajti v tem se razveseljujem.
36 ה (Hat-libiy, Incline-my heart) Turn my heart toward your testimonies, not toward selfish gain.
Nagni moje srce k tvojim pričevanjem, ne pa k pohlepnosti.
37 ה (Ha'a'beir, Turn away) Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways.
Odvrni moje oči od gledanja praznih reči in oživi me na svoji poti.
38 ה (Hakeim, Establish) Fulfill your promise to your servant, that you may be feared.
Utrdi svojo besedo svojemu služabniku, ki je vdan tvojemu strahu.
39 ה (Ha'a'beir, Turn away) Take away my disgrace that I dread, for your judgments are good.

Glej, hrepenel sem za tvojimi predpisi. Oživi me v svoji pravičnosti.
41 ו (Viybo'ooniy, Come to me) Let your chesed ·loving-kindness· also come to me, Adonai, your salvation, according to your word.
VAV Naj tvoja usmiljenja pridejo tudi k meni, oh Gospod, celó tvoja rešitev duše, glede na tvojo besedo.
42 ו (Vi’e’eneh, And answer) So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in your word.
Tako bom imel kaj odgovoriti tistemu, ki me graja, kajti zaupam v tvojo besedo.
43 ו (Vi'al-tatzeil, And do not take) Don’t snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, for I put my hope in your judgments.
Besede resnice pa ne vzemi popolnoma iz mojih ust, kajti [potrpežljivo] sem upal v tvoje sodbe.
44 ו (Vi'esh’m’rah, And I will keep) So I will obey your Torah ·Teaching· continually, forever and ever.
Tako se bom nenehno držal tvoje postave, na veke vekov.
45 ו (Vi'et’hal’kah, And I will walk) I will walk in liberty, for I have sought your precepts.
Hodil bom na prostosti, kajti iščem tvoje predpise.
46 ו (Va'a’dab’rah, And I will speak) I will also speak of your testimonies before kings, and will not be disappointed.
Tudi pred kralji bom govoril o tvojih pričevanjih in ne bom osramočen.
47 ו (Vi'esh’ta’asha’, And I will delight myself) I will delight myself in your mitzvot ·instructions·, because I 'ahav ·affectionately love· them.
Razveseljeval se bom v tvojih zapovedih, ki sem jih vzljubil.
48 ו (Vi’esa’-khapi, And I will lift up-my hands) I reach out my hands for your mitzvot ·instructions·, which I 'ahav ·affectionately love·. I will meditate on your statutes. ZAYIN ז
Tudi svoje roke bom dvignil k tvojim zapovedim, ki sem jih vzljubil in premišljeval bom o tvojih zakonih.
49 ז (Zikhor-dabar, Remember-word) Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.

50 ז(Zo’t, This) This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.
To je moja tolažba v moji stiski, kajti tvoja beseda me je oživila.
51 ז (Zeideem, Arrogant) The arrogant mock me excessively, but I don’t swerve from your Torah ·Teaching·.
Ponosni so me imeli silno v posmeh, vendar se nisem nagnil od tvoje postave.
52 ז (Zakhar’tiy, I remembered) I remember your judgments of old, Adonai, and have comforted myself.
Spomnil sem se tvojih sodb od davnine, oh Gospod in se potolažil.
53 ז (Zal’’apah, Burning indignation) Indignation has taken hold on me, because of the wicked who forsake your Torah ·Teaching·.
Polastila se me je groza zaradi zlobnih, ki zapuščajo tvojo postavo.
54 ז (Zimerovt, My songs) Your statutes have been my songs, in the house where I live.
Tvoji zakoni so bili moje pesmi v hiši mojega popotovanja.
55 ז (Zakhar’toy, I remembered) I have remembered your name, Adonai, in the night, and I obey your Torah ·Teaching·.
Ponoči sem se spominjal tvojega imena, oh Gospod in se držal tvoje postave.
56 ז (Zo’t, This is) This is my way, that I keep your precepts. CHET or HET ח
To sem imel, ker sem se držal tvojih predpisov.
57 ח (Chel’kiy, My portion) Adonai is my portion. I promised to obey your words.

58 ח (Chiliytiy, I sought) I sought your favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.
S svojim celotnim srcem sem milo prosil tvojo naklonjenost; bodi mi usmiljen glede na svojo besedo.
59 ח (Chishab’tiy, I considered) I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your testimonies.
Mislil sem na svoje poti in svoja stopala sem obrnil k tvojim pričevanjem.
60 ח (Chash’tiy, I hastened) I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your mitzvot ·instructions·.
Podvizal sem se in nisem odlašal, da se držim tvojih zapovedi.
61 ח (Cheb’ley, Cords / Ropes) The ropes of the wicked bind me, but I won’t forget your Torah ·Teaching·.
Vezi zlobnih so me oropale, toda nisem pozabil tvoje postave.
62 ח (Cha’tzot-li’lah, At mid-night) At midnight I will rise to yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you, because of your righteous judgments.
Opolnoči bom vstajal, da se ti zahvaljujem zaradi tvojih pravičnih sodb.
63 ח (Chaber, Companion) I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.

Preden sem bil užaloščen, sem zašel, toda sedaj sem se držal tvoje besede.
68 ט (Tov-’atah, Good-you are) You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.
Ti si dober in delaš dobro; úči me svojih zakonov.
69 ט (Tap’lu, Have forged) The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts.
Ponosni so zoper mene kovali laž, toda tvojih predpisov se bom držal s svojim celotnim srcem.
70 ט (Tapash, Is covered) Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your Torah ·Teaching·.
Njihovo srce je tako rejeno kakor mast, toda jaz se razveseljujem v tvoji postavi.
71 ט (Tov-liy, Good-for me) It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.
Dobro je zame, da sem bil užaloščen, da se lahko učim tvojih zakonov.
72 ט (Tov-liy, Good-for me) The Torah ·Teaching· of your mouth is better to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. YUD or YOD י

79 י (Yashooboo, They will turn) Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your testimonies.

90 ל (L’dor, To generation) Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.
Tvoja zvestoba je za vse rodove; utrdil si zemljo in ta ostaja.

Danes nadaljujejo glede na tvoje odredbe, kajti vsi so tvoji služabniki.

Če ne bi bila tvoja postava moje naslade, potem bi v svoji stiski propadel.

Nikoli ne bom pozabil tvojih predpisov, kajti oživil si me.

Razumem več kakor starci, ker se držim tvojih predpisov.
101 מ (Mikal-’orach, From all-way) I have kept my feet from every evil way, that I might observe your word.
Svoja stopala sem zadržal pred vsako zlo potjo, da bi lahko obdržal tvojo besedo.
102 מ (Mimish’pateyka, From your ordinances) I have not turned aside from your judgments, for you have taught me.
Nisem odšel od tvojih sodb, kajti ti si me učil.
103 מ (Mah-nim’l’tzu, How-sweet) How sweet are your promises to my taste, more than honey to my mouth!
Kako sladke so tvoje besede mojemu okusu! Da, slajše kakor med mojim ustom.

Rotim te, sprejmi prostovoljne daritve mojih ust, oh Gospod in uči me svojih sodb.

Moja duša je nenehno v moji roki, vendar ne pozabljam tvoje postave.

116 ס (Sam’kheiniy, Sustain) Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Podpiraj me glede na svojo besedo, da bom lahko živel in zaradi svojega upanja naj ne bom osramočen.
117 ס (S’’adiniy, Uphold) Hold me up, and I will be safe, and will have respect for your statutes continually.
Dvigni me in bom varen in nenehno se bom oziral k tvojim zakonom.
118 ס (Saliyta, Rejected) You reject all those who are lead astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error· from your statutes, for their deceit is in vain.
Pomendral si vse tiste, ki so zašli od tvojih zakonov, kajti njihova prevara je neresnica.
119 ס (Sigiym, Dross) You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I 'ahav ·affectionately love· your testimonies.
