Micah 1
1 The word of Jehovah, which came to Micah, the Morasthite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah; which was revealed to him concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
Palabra de Jehová que fue a Miquéas de Morasti en días de Joatán, Acaz, y Ezequías, reyes de Judá: lo que vio sobre Samaria, y Jerusalem.
2 Hear, all ye nations, Give ear, O earth, and all that is therein! The Lord, Jehovah, appeareth as a witness against you, The Lord from his holy palace.
Oíd todos los pueblos: tierra, y todo lo que en ella hay, está atenta; y el Señor Jehová, el Señor desde su santo templo sea testigo contra vosotros.
3 Behold, Jehovah cometh forth from his dwelling-place; He cometh down, and advanceth upon the high places of the earth.
Porque he aquí que Jehová sale de su lugar, y descenderá, y hollará sobre las alturas de la tierra.
4 The mountains melt under him, And the valleys cleave asunder, Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.
Y debajo de él se derretirán los montes, y los valles se henderán, como la cera delante del fuego, y como las aguas que corren cuesta abajo.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, And for the sin of the house of Israel. Where is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not at Samaria? And where are the high places of Judah? Are they not at Jerusalem?
Todo esto por la rebelión de Jacob, y por los pecados de la casa de Israel. ¿Qué es la rebelión de Jacob? ¿No es Samaria? ¿Y cuales son los excelsos de Judá? ¿No es Jerusalem?
6 Therefore will I make Samaria a heap of stones in the field, A place for the planting of a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And lay bare her foundations.
Pondré pues a Samaria en majanos de heredad, en tierras de viñas; y derramaré sus piedras por el valle, y descubriré sus fundamentos.
7 All her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, And all the hire of her harlotry shall be burned with fire, And all her idols will I destroy. For from the hire of a harlot did she gather her ornaments, And to the hire of a harlot shall they return.
Y todas sus esculturas serán quebradas, y todos sus dones serán quemados en fuego; y asolaré todos sus ídolos; porque de dones de rameras se juntó, y a dones de rameras volverán.
8 Therefore I will wail and howl; I will go stripped and naked; I will wail like the jackal, And mourn like the ostrich.
Por tanto lamentaré, y aullaré: andaré despojado, y desnudo; y haré llanto como de dragones, y lamentación como de los hijos del avestruz.
9 For her wound is mortal; It extendeth to Judah; It reacheth to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
Porque su llaga es dolorosa, que llegó hasta Judá: llegó hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, hasta Jerusalem.
10 Tell it not in Gath! weep not in Acco! In Beth-Aprah roll yourselves in the dust!
No lo digáis en Get, ni lloréis mucho: revuélcate en el polvo por Betafra.
11 Pass on, thou inhabitant of Saphir, naked and in shame! The inhabitant of Zaanan no more goeth out; The grief of Beth-Azel denieth you an abode.
Pásate desnuda con vergüenza, o! moradora de Safir: la moradora de Saanán no salió al llanto de Bet-haesel: tomará de vosotros su tardanza.
12 The inhabitant of Maroth mourneth for his goods, For evil came down from Jehovah to the gates of Jerusalem.
Porque la moradora de Marot tuvo dolor por el bien; porque el mal descendió de Jehová hasta la puerta de Jerusalem.
13 Bind the chariot to the courser, O inhabitant of Lachish! Thou wast the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; In thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
Unce al carro dromedarios, o! moradora de Laquis, que fuiste principio de pecado a la hija de Sión; porque en ti se inventaron las rebeliones de Israel.
14 Therefore shalt thou resign the possession of Moresheth of Gath; The houses of Achzib shall disappoint the kings of Israel.
Por tanto tú darás dones a Mareset en Get: las casas de Aczib serán en mentira a los reyes de Israel.
15 A possessor will I bring to thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah; The glory of Israel shall flee to Adullam.
Aun te traeré heredero, o! moradora de Maresa: la gloria de Israel vendrá hasta Odollam.
16 Make thyself bald, cut off thy locks, for the children of thy love; Enlarge thy baldness like the eagle; For they have gone from thee into captivity.
Mésate, y trasquílate por los hijos de tus delicias: ensancha tu calva como águila; porque fueron trasportados de ti.
