< 2 Corinthians 4 >
1 Therefore, having this ministry through the mercy we received, we are not faint-hearted;
Hatdawkvah, maimouh teh a pahrennae coe e lahoi thaw tawk e lah o awh dawkvah, ka lungpout a hoeh.
2 but have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Maimouh ni arulahoi kaya ka tho e hnosakenaw pahnawt awh. Huenghai awm awh hoeh. Cathut lawk hai tami dum nahanlah pâpho a hoeh. Lawkkatang doeh kacairoecalah pâpho awh. Hottelah hoi Cathut hmalah, taminaw e thoehawi panuenae lungthin dawk mamouh hoi mamouh kamnue sak awh.
3 But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to them that perish,
Maimouh ni pâpho e kamthang kahawi heh, ramuk lah awm pawiteh, rawknae dawk kaawm lahun e naw koe doeh ramuk lah awm tih.
4 in whom the God of this world blinded the understandings of the unbelieving, so that they cannot behold the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, maimouh ni mamae kong pâpho a hoeh. Khrih teh Bawi lah ao tie pâpho awh. Kaimouh roeroe heh Khrih hanlah, nangmae san lah ka o awh.
6 For it is God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, that shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
Hmonae thungvah, angnae awmseh telah kâ ka poe e Cathut ni Jisuh Khrih minhmai ka ang e Cathut bawilennae hah, panue thai nahane raeng poe hanelah, maimae lungthin dawk a ang sak toe.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not of us;
Hateiteh, a thaonae hno sakthainae teh, maimae nahoeh. Cathut amae lah ao dawkvah, a bahu a kamnue sak. Hote hno teh talai hlaam thung a ta teh maimouh dawk ao.
8 being troubled on every side, yet not distressed; perplexed, but not in despair;
Maimanaw teh avoivang lahoi na ka tarawk nakunghai, thayoun awh hoeh. Kângairunae lah kaawm nakunghai, lungpout awh hoeh.
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
Rektapnae kâhmo nakunghai, hnoun e lah awm awh hoeh. Rahim lah pabonae kâhmo nakunghai, poutnae koe phat awh hoeh.
10 always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.
Bawipa Jisuh Khrih teh a hring tie heh, maimae tak dawkvah a kamnue sak hanelah, Khrih e duenae teh pout laipalah maimae tak dawk sin awh.
11 For we who live are continually delivered up to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, Khrih hringnae teh, maimae tak dawk kamnue thai nahanelah, Jisuh kecu dawk maimouh kahring e naw heh duenae kut dawk pout laipalah, poe e lah o awh.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
Hatdawkvah, duenae ni maimouh dawk thaw a tawk teh, hringnae ni nangmouh dawk thaw a tawk.
13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke,” we also believe, and therefore speak;
Ka yuem dawkvah, ka pâpho telah thut e patetlah yuemnae hoi ka kâkuen e Muitha hah maimouh ni tawn awh teh, maimouh hai yuem dawkvah pâpho awh.
14 knowing that he who raised up the Lord Jesus will raise up us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, Jisuh ka thaw sak e Cathut ni maimouh hai Jisuh hoi rei na thaw sak teh, nangmouh hoi cungtalah a hmalah na thokhai han tie panue awh.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the grace abounding by means of the greater number may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
Hno cawngca pueng teh, nangmouh hane doeh. Hethateh, ahnimanaw koe, lungmanae hoe a pung teh Cathut e bawilennae kamnuesak nahanelah lunghawilawkdeinae teh hoe a kuep.
16 For which cause we are not faint-hearted; but though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Hatdawkvah, kaimouh teh lungpout awh hoeh. Kaimae a lawi lae tami teh, ka kumcathuk nakunghai, thung lae tami teh hnin touh hnukkhu hnin touh sak katha e lah pou ao.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh out for us, in a higher and still higher degree, an everlasting weight of glory; (aiōnios )
Bangkongtetpawiteh, maimouh ni dongdeng rucatnae khangnae naw ni maimouh hanlah a yungyoe bawilennae lah ao sak. (aiōnios )
18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are but for a time; but the things which are not seen are ever lasting. (aiōnios )
Hatdawkvah, maimouh teh hmu thai e hno khen awh hoeh. Hmu thai hoeh e hnonaw doeh khet awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh hmuthai e hnonaw teh dongdeng ca hanelah ao teh, hmuthaihoehe hnonaw teh a yungyoe a kangning. (aiōnios )
