< Galatians 1 >

1 Paul, an apostle, not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead, —
Kai Pawl hoi kai koe kaawm e hmaunawngha abuemlah ni, Galati ram kaawm e kawhmounnaw ca na patawn awh.
2 and all the brethren that are with me, to the churches of Galatia:
Kai teh guncei lah ka o nahanlah tami ni na patoun e hoi tha e hai nahoeh. Jisuh Khrih duenae koehoi kathawsakkung Cathut ni na kaw e lah doeh ka o.
3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
Maimae Pa Cathut hoi Bawipa Jisuh Khrih koe e lungmanae hoi roumnae teh nangmouh koe awm lawiseh.
4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil world, according to the will of God our Father; (aiōn g165)
Atu e se kathout thung hoi maimouh teh hlout sak hanelah maimae Cathut hoi na Pa ni a ngai e patetlah ama teh maimae yon kecu a kâhmoun. (aiōn g165)
5 to whom be the glory for ever and ever! Amen. (aiōn g165)
Cathut teh pout laipalah a yungyoe bawilennae awm lawiseh! Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 I marvel that ye are so soon turning from him that called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel;
Nangmouh teh, Khrih e lungmanae dawk hoi na kakawkung Bawipa e kamthang kahawi hloilah, alouke kamthang lawk koe tang na kamlang awh dawkvah ka ka ngai lah a ru.
7 which is not another; only there are certain persons who are troubling you, and seeking to change entirely the gospel of Christ.
Hote kamthang lawk teh kamthang kahawi nahoeh. Nangmanaw tarawk hane hoi Khrih e kamthang kahawi hah bungling hanelah a ngai a dawk doeh.
8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel to you contrary to that which we preached to you, let him be accursed!
Hatei, kaimouh thung dawk hoi nakunghai, kalvan hoi ka tho e kalvantami nakunghai, kaimouh ni ka dei awh e kamthang kahawi patetlah ka dei hoeh e teh thoebo e lah awmseh.
9 As we have said before, so I now say again, If any one preach a gospel to you contrary to that which ye received, let him be accursed!
10 For do I now seek the favor of men, or of God? Or am I endeavoring to please men? If I were still pleasing men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Tami ngainae lahoi kâyawm pawiteh Khrih san lah kaawm e nahoeh.
11 But I assure you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not after man;
12 for I did not receive it from man nor was I taught it by any man, but it was revealed to me by Jesus Christ.
Cangnae dawk hai nahoeh. Jisuh Khrih e a kâpâphonae dawk hoi kai ni ka coe e doeh.
13 For ye have heard of my conduct formerly in Judaism; that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and was destroying it,
Judah phunglah kahring navah Cathut e kawhmoun hah ka rektap teh raphoe hanelah ka kâyawm.
14 and made progress in Judaism beyond many of the same age with me in my nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 But when it pleased him who set me apart from my very birth, and called me through his grace,
16 to reveal his Son within me, that I might publish the glad tidings of him among the gentiles, immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,
hote Capa hah kai koe pâpho hanelah a ngainae ao navah, Capa e kong Jentelnaw koe pâpho hanlah, kai teh ka takthai hoi ka kapan hoeh.
17 neither did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
Ahmaloe e gunceinaw aonae koe Jerusalem hai ka cet laipalah, Arabia ram lah hmatara ka cei teh Damaskas kho bout ka ban.
18 Then, after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days;
Hahoi kum thum touh a kuep hnukkhu Cephas (Cephas teh Piter tinae) hoi kâhmo hanlah ka ngai dawkvah, Jerusalem lah ka cei teh ahni koe hnin hlaipanga touh ka o.
19 but no other of the apostles did I see, save James the brother of the Lord.
Ahni hoi Bawipa Jisuh e a nawngha Jem laipalah alouke guncei buet touh hai ka hmawt hoeh.
20 Now as to what I am writing to you, behold, before God, I do not lie.
Ka thut e heh laithoe awmhoeh, atangcalah ao e heh Cathut ni a panue.
21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
Hathnukkhu vah, Siria ram hoi Cilicia ram lah vah ka cei.
22 and I was unknown by face to the churches of Judaea which were in Christ;
23 but they were only hearing that “He who was once our persecutor is now preaching the faith which he was once destroying”;
Ahmaloe vah, maimouh na ka rektap e tami ni raphoe hanlah ouk a kâyawm e yuemnae hah atu teh a kampangkhai toe tie dueng hah thai lah ao toung dawkvah,
24 and they glorified God in me.
ahnimouh ni kai kecu dawk Cathut bawilennae teh a pholen awh.
