< Romans 10 >

1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for them, that they may be saved.
Ngaaphoh ngaano loong, nga tenthun nyia nga rangsoom bah warep Ijirel mina loong ah epi toom ih rum ah ih thunhang.
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
Nga ih jen baat et ang neng ih Rangte suh kamkam ih samthun rumha, ang abah uh neng ih marah samthun rumha erah amiisak epun mongtham nawa tah angka.
3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
Rangte ih mina heh damdoh epun ang thuk suh marah lampo thiinha rah neng ih tajat rumka, erah nang ih, neng ngiijaaja lamtan taatwoot thun rumha; erah thoidi Rangte ih epun lampo et thiik ha lam adi neng takhoom rumka.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Kristo ih Hotthe ah ethoonsiit et ha, eno ba hanpiite loong ah Rangte damdoh epun ih tong rum ah.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."
Rangte damdoh Hootthe jun ih epun ih tongte loong tiit ah Moses ih amet raangta: “O ih Hootthe Jengdang ah kap ha loong ah ba khothing tong ah.”
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up into heaven?' (that is, to bring Christ down);
Enoothong Rangte damdi laalom jun ih epun angla rah tiit ah Rangteele ni amet raangha: “Sen ih sen teeteewah suh lamok chengtheng, Rangmong nah o jen wang ah?” (Erah langla, Kristo datthiin suh ah).
7 or, 'Who will go down into the deep?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" (Abyssos g12)
“Adoleh sen ih lamok chengtheng, mongrep hakhu nah o jen nop ah eah?” (erah langla Kristo ah tek nawa ngaaksaat suh ah). (Abyssos g12)
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the message of faith that we proclaim;
Erah tiit ah amet raangha: “Rangte tiitkhaap ah sen reeni sen tuikhoop nyia senten senmong ni” —erah langla, tuungmaang theng jengkhaap seng ih tumbaat hi tiit ah.
9 because, if you acknowledge with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Sen ih Jisu asuh Teesu ih dongjeng an doh nyia heh tek nawa Rangte ih ngaaksaat thukta ih hanpi an doh, ba sen ah pui an.
10 For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth acknowledgment is made, resulting in salvation.
Tumeah seng tuungmaang jun ih ba Rangte damdi epun angli; nyia seng rangdah dokbaat thaang ih bah seng khoh ah pui ih.
11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."
Rangteele ni liiha, “O heh suh hanpiiha loong abah tathungjoongka.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on him.
Arah jengkhaap adi warep suh roop baat ha, tumeah Jehudi mina nyia Ranglajatte loong chamchi ni tumjih uh edandeejih tajeeka; Rangte ah loongtang Teesu, eno Rangte ih o poonha erah ih romseetam ah choh ah.
13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Rangteele ni amet liiha, “O ih bah uh Teesu ah heh chosok raang ih jampoon et ah erah epui eah.”
14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone preaching?
Enoothong neng ih heh suh lahanpi rumka bah neng chosok suh mamet chopoon rum ah? Erah dam ih neng ih heh tiit ah lajap chaat rumka bah mamet hanpi rum ah? Nyia neng ih heh tiit ah latoom baat rumka bah mamet japchaat rum ah?
15 And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of peace, who bring good news of good things."
Erah dam ih tiit ah mamet toombaat rum ah tiitbaatte ah ladaapkaat ra bah ah? Rangteele ni raangha likhiik, “Ruurang Ese thok huikaatte ra hala ah tumthan epaatja theng ah!”
16 But they did not all listen to the Good News. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"
Enoothong Ijirel mina thoontang ih erah Ruurang Ese ah takap rumta. Isaia heh teeteewah ih liita, “Teesu, seng tiit ah o ih hanpi ah?”
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Erah raangtaan ih, tiitkhaap chaat lidi tuungmaang ah je ah, adoleh tiitkhaap ah Kristo tiit baat jun ih ba japchaat ah.
18 But I ask, isn't it rather that they did not hear? On the contrary, "Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest parts of the world."
Enoothong Ngah ih chenghang: Neng ih tiitkhaap ah amiimi tatam chaat rumta? Echaat ju et rumta tumeah Rangteele ni raang eha: “Neng root ah mongrep thoontang ni thok chaatta; neng jengkhaap ah hatoh ethoon adi thokta.”
19 But I ask, did not Israel know? First Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is not a people. I will make you angry with a foolish nation."
Eno ngah ih we cheng rumhala: Ijirel mina loongtang ih tatam samjat rumta? Moses heh teeteewah ih jaakhothoon phang ngaakbaat rumta: “Ngah ih deek akaan ehoh loong ah maak angno nga mina loong ah lungwaang thuk rum ang; nyia thungko taklo deek akaan ang thoidoh Nga mina loong ah tenkhat thuk rum ang.”
20 Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who did not seek me. I was revealed to those who did not ask for me."
Eno Isaia ih lacho laphaan ih boot baat rumta, “Ngah o ih tajam sok rum tahang erah mina loong rah ih chojam rum tahang; Ngah o ih tajam cheng rum tahang erah mina loong jiinni dong tahang.”
21 But as to Israel he says, "All day long I have stretched out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
Enoothong Ijirel loong tiit ah heh ih amet baat ha, “Ngah ih henih nitang ih jeng lachaatte nyia changrookte mina loong ah noppoon suh nga lak ah janghaat ruh ehang.”
