< Psalms 4 >

1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David.] Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. You set me free in my distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
KOT kapung pa i, kom kotin mangi ia ni ai likelikwir. Pwe kom kin kotin kamait ia la ni ai ansau apwal. Kom kotin maki ong ia o mangi ai kapakap.
2 You sons of man, how long will you shame my honor, love what is worthless, chase after a lie? (Selah)
Komail saumas akan! Arai da mar ai pan susued? Arai da omail pok ong me mal kot, o omail perenki likam? (Sela)
3 But know that the LORD works wonders for his godly one; the LORD will hear when I call to him.
Komail lolekongala, ap asa, me Ieowa kotin piladar sapwilim a lelapok o. Ieowa kin kotin mangi ia ni ai likelikwir ong i.
4 Be angry, but do not sin. Ponder in your heart, but be at rest on your bed. (Selah)
Ni omail makar, komail der wia dip. Komail madamadauaki mongiong omail ni omail wendi pon los o ap auiaui. (Sela)
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
Komail mairongki mairong pung o liki Ieowa.
6 Many say, "Who will show us any good?" LORD, lift up the light of your face upon us.
Me toto kin inda: Is me pan kasale ong kitail me mau kan? A Ieowa, kom kotin kamaraine kin kit marain en silang omui!
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and wine and oil abound.
Komui kotin kaperenda mongiong i laud sang ansaun arail wain o korn me toto.
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety.
