Luke 17
1 He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come.
೧ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ, “ಶೋಧನೆಗಳು ಬರುವುದು ಸಹಜ, ಆದರೂ ಅವು ಯಾವನಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತವೆಯೋ ಅವನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ?
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
೨ಅಂಥವನು ಈ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತನ್ನ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಗೆ ಬೀಸುವ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ಲೇಸು.
3 Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
೩ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನು ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸು. ಅವನು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವನ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿಬಿಡು.
4 And if he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him."
೪ಅವನು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳು ಸಾರಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡಿ ಏಳು ಸಾರಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು, ‘ನಾನು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."
೫ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು,
6 The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
೬ಕರ್ತನು, “ಸಾಸಿವೇ ಕಾಳಷ್ಟು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ನಿಮಗಿರುವುದಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಈ ಅತ್ತಿಮರಕ್ಕೆ, ‘ನೀನು ಬೇರುಸಹಿತ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಟಿಕೊ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದು” ಅಂದನು.
7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table'?
೭“ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಿಗಾದರೂ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಥವಾ ಕುರಿಮೇಯಿಸುವ ಆಳಿರಲಾಗಿ, ಅವನು ಹೊಲದಿಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ಆ ಆಳಿಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಬಂದು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನೇ?
8 But will he not say to him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink, and afterward you can eat and drink'?
೮ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳದೆ, ‘ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಊಟಕ್ಕೇನಾದರೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡು, ನಾನು ಊಟಮಾಡುವ ತನಕ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನನಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡು. ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನು ಊಟಮಾಡು, ಕುಡಿ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನಲ್ಲವೇ.
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded?
೯ತನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಂತೆ ನಡೆದ ಆ ಆಳಿಗೆ, ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಉಪಕಾರವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವನೇ? ಇದರಂತೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗತಿ.
10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.'"
೧೦ನೀವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ‘ನಾವು ಆಳುಗಳು, ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲದವರು, ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ’ ಅನ್ನಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
11 It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
೧೧ಯೇಸು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ, ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸೀಮೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹಾದುಹೋದನು.
12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
೧೨ಒಂದು ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಹತ್ತುಮಂದಿ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಗಳು ಆತನ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು,
13 They lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us."
೧೩“ಯೇಸುವೇ, ಗುರುವೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಿಡು” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
14 When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.
೧೪ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, “ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೈ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಶುದ್ಧರಾದರು.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
೧೫ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನಗೆ ಗುಣವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು,
16 He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
೧೬ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸುತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವನು.
17 Jesus answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
೧೭ಯೇಸು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, “ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಶುದ್ಧರಾದರಲ್ಲವೇ. ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಒಂಭತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ?
18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"
೧೮ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶದವನೇ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ನಾರೂ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ,
19 Then he said to him, "Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."
೧೯ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಎದ್ದು ಹೋಗು, ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿಯದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
೨೦ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಯಾವಾಗ ಬರುವುದೆಂದು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನೀವು ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಬರುವಂಥದಲ್ಲ.
21 neither will they say, 'Look, here.' or, 'Look, there.' for the Kingdom of God is within you."
೨೧‘ಇಗೋ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ, ಅಗೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗದು. ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
22 He said to the disciples, "The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
೨೨ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ಒಂದು ಕಾಲ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ, ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನ ದಿನಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ ಇರುವಿರಿ.
23 And they will tell you, 'Look, there.' or 'Look, here.' Do not go away, nor follow after them,
೨೩ಜನರು ನಿಮಗೆ, ‘ಅಗೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಇಗೋ ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ನೀವು ಅವರು ಹೇಳುವಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಲೂ ಬೇಡಿರಿ.
24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
೨೪ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮಿಂಚು ಮಿಂಚುತ್ತಾ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವುದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ತನ್ನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿರುವನು.
25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
೨೫ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ಆತನು ಬಹು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಿ ಈಗಿನ ಕಾಲದ ಸಂತತಿಯಿಂದ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
26 As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
೨೬ನೋಹನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಡೆಯುವುದು.
27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the box-shaped ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
೨೭ನೋಹನು ನಾವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ ದಿನದ ತನಕ ಜನರು ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವು ಬಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿತು.
28 Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
೨೮ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಟನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆಯುವುದು. ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಮಾರಾಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ನೆಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
೨೯ಆದರೆ ಲೋಟನು ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಊರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಗಂಧಕಗಳು ಸುರಿದು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದವು.
30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
೩೦ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಇರುವುದು.
31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
೩೧ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವವನು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬರಬಾರದು. ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವವನು ಸಹ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದು.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
೩೨ಲೋಟನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
33 Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will preserve it.
೩೩ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು, ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನು ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
೩೪ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದೇ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವರು. ಒಬ್ಬನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಡುವನು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಕೈ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡುವನು.
35 Two will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.
೩೫ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಒಂದೇ ಕಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಸುತ್ತಿರುವರು. ಒಬ್ಬಳು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಡುವಳು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬಳು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡುವಳು.”
೩೬“ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರಿರುವರು; ಒಬ್ಬನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಡುವನು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡುವನು” ಅಂದನು.
37 They, answering, asked him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together."
೩೭ಈ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು, “ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವುದು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಹೆಣ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಣಹದ್ದುಗಳು ಬಂದು ಸೇರುವವು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
