Matthew 20
1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.
國好比一個家主，清晨出去為自己的葡萄園僱工人。
2 When he had agreed with the laborers for a denura a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
他與工人約定一天一個「德納」，就派他們到葡萄園去了。
3 He went out about nine in the morning, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace.
約在第三時辰，又出去，看見另有些人在街上閒站著，
4 To them he said, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went their way.
就對他們說：你們也到我的葡萄園裏去吧！凡照公義該給的，我必給你們。
5 Again he went out about noon and at three in the afternoon, and did likewise.
他們就去了。約在第六和在第九時辰，他又出去，也照樣做了。
6 About five that afternoon he went out, and found others standing. He said to them, 'Why do you stand here all day idle?'
約在第十二時辰，他又出去，看見還有些人站在那裏，就對他們說：為什麼你們站在這裏整天閒著？
7 "They said to him, 'Because no one has hired us.' "He said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard.'
他們對他說：因為沒有人僱我們。他給他們說：你們也到我的葡萄園裏去吧！
8 When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.'
到了晚上，葡萄園的主人對他的管事人說：你叫他們來，分給他們工資，由最後的開始，直到最先的。
9 "When those who were hired at about five in the afternoon came, they each received a denura.
那些約在第十一時辰來的人，每人領了一個「德納」。
10 When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denura.
那些最先僱來的，心想自己必會多領，但他們也只領了一個「德納」。
11 When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household,
他們一領了，就抱怨家主，
12 saying, 'These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.'
說：這些最後僱的人，不過工作了一個時辰，而你竟把他們與我們這整天受苦受熱的，同等看待。
13 "But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denura?
他答覆其中的一個說：朋友！我並沒有虧負你，你不是和我議定了一個「德納」嗎？
14 Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.
拿你的走吧！我願意給這最後來的和給你的一樣。
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?'
難道不許我拿我所有的財物，行我所願意的嗎？或是因為我好，你就眼紅嗎？
16 So the last will be first, and the first last; for many are called, but few are chosen."
這樣，最後的，將成為最先的，最先的將成為最後的。」
17 As Yeshua was going up to Urishlim, he took the Twelve aside, and on the way he said to them,
耶穌上耶路撒冷去，暗暗把十二個門徒帶到一邊，在路上對他們說：
18 "Look, we are going up to Urishlim, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,
「看，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交於司祭和經師，他們要定的死罪；
19 and will hand him over to the non-Jews to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up."
並且要把他給外邦人戲弄、鞭打、釘死；但第二天，他要復活。」
20 Then the mother of the sons of Zabedai came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.
那時，載伯德兒子的母親，同自己的兒子前來，叩拜耶穌，請求衪一件事。
21 He said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand, and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom."
耶穌對她說：「妳要什麼？ 」她回答說：「你叫我的這兩個兒子，在你王國內，一個坐在你的右邊，一個坐在你的左邊。」
22 But Yeshua answered and said, "You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?" They said to him, "We are able."
耶穌回答說：「你們不知道你們所求的是什麼，你們能飲我將要飲的爵嗎？ 」他們說：「我們能」
23 He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
耶穌對他們說：「我的爵你們固然要飲，但坐在右邊或左邊，不是我可以給的，而是我父給誰預備了，就給誰。」
24 When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.
那十個聽了，就惱怒他們兩兄弟。
25 But Yeshua summoned them, and said, "You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
耶穌叫過他們來說：「你們知道：外邦人有首長主宰他們，有大臣管轄他們。
26 It will not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you must be your servant.
在你們中間卻不可這樣，誰若在你們中願意成為大的，就當作你們的僕役；
27 And whoever desires to be first among you must be your slave,
誰若願意在你們中為首，就當作你們的奴僕。
28 even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
就如人子來不是受服，而是服事人，並交出自己的生命，為大眾作贖價。」
29 As they went out from Irikhu, a large crowd followed him.
他們由耶里哥出來時，許多群眾跟隨耶穌。
30 And look, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Yeshua was passing by, shouted, "Have mercy on us, Lord, son of Dawid."
有兩個瞎子坐在路旁，聽說耶穌路過，就喊叫說：「主，達味之子，可憐我們吧！」民眾責斥他們，
31 The crowd rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they shouted even more, "Have mercy on us, Lord, son of Dawid."
他們不要作聲；他們反而更喊叫說：「主，達味之子，可憐我們吧！」
32 Yeshua stood still, and called them, and asked, "What do you want me to do for you?"
耶穌就站住，叫過他們來，說：「你們願意我給你們做什麼？ 」
33 They told him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened."
他們回答說：「主，叫我們的眼睛開開吧！
34 Yeshua, being moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received their sight, and they followed him.
耶穌動了慈心，摸了他們的眼睛；他們就立刻看見了，也跟著衪去了。
