< Ephesians 2 >

1 Also you—being dead in trespasses and sins,
Intene inte qohida qoho gishine inte nagara gason hayqodaytakkko shin,
2 in which you once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
Hessa inte hayssa alameza ita ooge kalidista. Bolla cariko bolla diza woliqama harizaysas ha7ika Xoossas azazetonta asa bolla oothiza ita ayanas inte azazetishe deista. (aiōn g165)
3 among whom we also all walked once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath—as also the others,
Haysafe kasse nuni nu asho amoteth polishe ashoy koyiza oge kallishe istara doos. Nuunikka hankko asa mala nu medhetethappe Xoossa hanqo garsan dookko shin,
4 but God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us,
Gido attiin Xoossi keehi siqida gish ba marotetha daron nuni nu qoho dartethan hayqidayta gidi diishin Kirstosa bagara nuna ashides. Inte paxxiday iza kiiyatethankko.
5 even being dead in the trespasses, made us alive together with the Christ (by grace you are saved),
6 and raised [us] up together, and sat [us] together in the heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus,
Xoossi nuna Kiristossara gathi denthides. Yesuss Kiristossa bagara nuna sallon benara utisides.
7 that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, (aiōn g165)
Hesika hayssafe guye yana wodezan Yesuss Kirisossay nuus ba kiiyatethan qonccisida zaway baynda ba kiiyatetha duretetha nuna besanas. (aiōn g165)
8 for by grace you are saved, through faith, and this [is] not of yourselves—[it is] the gift of God,
Inte Xoossa kiyatethan amanon atidista. Hesikka Xoosi intes mela coo imidazape attiin inte oothoppe gidena.
9 not of works, that no one may boast;
Onika ceqetonta mala oothope gidena.
10 for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on good works, which God prepared before, that we may walk in them.
Hesika Xoossi kasse koyro nus gigisi wothida loo7o ootho nuni oothanamala Yesuss Kiristossa bagara nuni nam7antho medhetidaytane Xoossi medhetethatakko.
11 For this reason, remember, that you [were] once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands,
Hesa gish inte kase inte yeletethan amanonta dere asati inte asatetha bolla asa kushe ootho geedon nuni qaxaretidosu giza asati intena “qaxaretontayta” gizayto inte hessa ane wozinan wothiite.
12 that you were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God in the world;
Inte he wode Kiristossape shaketidi Isra7ele naytape hakiidi caqqo qalaska alaga gididi hayssa alameza bolla ufaysine Xoosi baynda inte kasse dizaysa yushi qopiite.
13 but now, in Christ Jesus, you being once far off became near in the blood of the Christ,
Ha7i qase inte kasse hanon dizayti Yesus Kiristossan gididi iza sutha bagara shiqidista.
14 for He is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of the partition of hostility,
Nam7ata isi bolla gathidi gidon shakiiza oosha goda lallida nu saroy izako.
15 the enmity in His flesh, having done away [with] the Law of the commands in ordinances, that He might create the two into one new man in Himself, making peace,
Wogga iza azazora gathi isife ba ashon sharides. Hessa izi oothida gasoy izas wana qofay nam7atape isi ooratha asa ba bagara medhidi sarotethi ehanasa.
16 and might reconcile both in one body to God through the Cross, having slain the enmity by it,
Izi masqale bolla hayqidi morketeth digides. Nam7atakka isi asho histidi Xoossara maqanthidees.
17 and having come, He proclaimed good news—peace to you—the far-off and the near,
Izi yidi intena haki dizaytasne matan dizaytas gathii sarotethi sabakiides.
18 because through Him we have the access—we both—in one Spirit to the Father.
Nu wurikka iza bagara isi ayanan awwa ach shiqqana danda7os.
19 Then, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the holy ones, and of the household of God,
Hesa gish inte amanizaytara isife isi dere asanne Xoossas so asa attiin heysafe gyue betistane alaga gidekista.
20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being chief corner-[stone],
Inte Hawaristane nabeta baasan kexetidista, kethas worsetha qustey Yesus Kiristossakko.
21 in whom all the building fitly framed together increases to a holy temple in the LORD,
Kethzi wurikka isipe oyketidi Godas duma keth gidanas dicces.
22 in whom you also are built together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
Intenika Xoosi ba ayanan danas izas dusaso gidanamala isipe kexxetishe dista.
