< 1 Peter 4 >

1 Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind, because he who suffered in the flesh has finished [with] sin,
Christ in pumpi taw haksatna a thuak hu in note zong tabang ngaisutna taw kipua tavun: banghangziam cile pumpi taw haksatna a thuakte mawna pan in tawlnga hi;
2 no longer in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh;
Tabang in ama sia a nei lai hun te sung ah mihing cilesa deina atu in nungta kik nawn ngawl tu a, Pathian deina bang in nungta tu hi.
3 for the time has sufficiently passed to have carried out the will of the nations, having walked in licentiousness, lusts, excesses of wines, revelings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,
Banghangziam cile Gentile te deina zui in maizum heak ngawl na, cilesa deina, sapittui kham na, a valkai ngualnopna vawtna, a lipkhaphuai milim biakna te taw i bosak hun te pha zo hi:
4 in which they think it strange—your not running with them to the same excess of wastefulness, slandering [you]—
Tu in note sia amate taw kipawl ngawl, cilesa deina te na vawt ngawl uh hu in amate in lamdangsa in note hong sonsia uh hi:
5 who will give an account to Him who is ready to judge [the] living and [the] dead,
Tua ahikom mihing le mithi te thukhen tu in a kingingsa Pathian mai ah thukhenna thuak kik tu hi.
6 for this also was good news proclaimed to dead men, that they may be judged, indeed, according to men in the flesh, but may live according to God in the Spirit.
Tua thu hang in mihing te i thukham bang in cilesa sung ah thukhenna thuak napi, Pathian thukham bang in thaa sung ah nungta tu in mithi te kung ah lungdamna thupha hil hi.
7 Now the end of all things has come near; be sober-minded, then, and be sober in [your] prayers.
Ahihang na theampo a tawpkhak hun hong nai zo ahikom: pilvangtak in om vun a, thungetna taw ngak vun.
8 Before all things, having earnest love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins;
Na theampo sang in note sung Khat le khat thinsung takpi taw ki-it tavun: banghangziam cile itna in mawna tampi seal thei hi.
9 [be] hospitable to one another, without murmuring;
Phun ngawlin khat le khat zin kido thiam tavun.
10 each [one], according as he received a gift, ministering it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;
Mihing khatsim in letsong na san uh bang in, Pathian thuthiamna tampi neisa a keam a pha neisa keampa bang in, khat le khat ki khoi tavun.
11 if anyone speaks, [speak] as oracles of God; if anyone ministers, [minister] as of the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Jesus Christ hang in na theampo ah Pathian a ki pok thei natu in, mi khatpo in thu a hil le, Pathian kammal te hil bang tatak in hil tahen; mi khatpo in ngualdang na a sepsak le, Pathian i hi theina a piak bang in seam tahen: Pathian tung ah pokna le ukzawkna a tawntung in om tahen. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Beloved, do not think it strange at the fiery suffering among you that is coming to try you, as if a strange thing were happening to you,
Ka it te awng, note haksatna tu in meikuang bang ze-etna taw kisai in, a lamdang in ngaisun heak vun:
13 but according as you have fellowship with the sufferings of the Christ, rejoice, that you may also rejoice in the revelation of His glory—exulting;
Ahihang lungdam vun, Jesus Christ i thuakna a neipui te na hi uh hu in; a minthanna hong kilang ciang in note lungdamna lianpi taw na angtang tu uh hi.
14 if you are reproached in the Name of Christ—[you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you; in regard, indeed, to them, is evil spoken of Him, and in regard to you, He is glorified;
Christ min hang in zawnsakna na thuak uh le, thuphatoai te na hi uh hi; banghangziam cile Pathian le minthanna Thaa sia note tung ah hong om hi: amate sang ah Christ sia maizum thuak napi, note atu in ki vangliansak a hihi.
15 for let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or as a meddler into other men’s matters;
Ahihang note sung ah kuama peuma tualthat, nguta, siatna vawt le ngualdang nopmawkpui na hang in a thuak te na hi heak vun.
16 and if as a Christian, do not let him be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this respect;
Ahihang mi khatpo sia tapidaw ahi hu in a thuak le, maizum heak hen; ahihang hisia atu in Pathian pok zaw tahen.
17 because it is the time of the judgment to have begun from the house of God, and if first from us, what [is] the end of those disobedient to the good news of God?
Banghangziam cile Pathian innsung ah thukhenna kipat tu hun hong theng zo hi: taciang eite sung ah amasabel in hong kipan le Pathian i lungdamna thupha a um nuam ngawl te tawpna sia bangbang hi tu ziam?
18 And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and sinner appear?
Taciang mi thutang nangawn haksatak in ngupna nga ahile, Pathian he ngawl te le mawnei te koisung ah hong kilang tu ziam?
19 So that those also suffering according to the will of God, as to a steadfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in doing good.
Tua ahikom Pathian deina bang in a thuak te in amate thaa phatak in a keamcing te, a thuman bitphuapa tung ah ap tahen.
