< 1 Corinthians 10 >
1 And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,
Maram aduna, ichil-Inaosing, nakhoina eikhoigi ipa-ipusingda kari thokkhibage haibadu kaothokpa eina pamde. Madudi leichilna makhoi pumnamakpu ngak-senbiduna makhoi pumbana asoi-angam yaodana Angangba samudra lanthokkhi.
2 and all were immersed into Moses in the cloud, and in the sea;
Makhoi pumnamak Moses-ki tung-inba ama oina leichilda amadi ising ipakta baptize loukhi.
3 and all ate the same spiritual food,
Makhoi pumnamak chap mannaba thawaigi chinjak chaminnakhi.
4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking of a spiritual rock following them, and the rock was the Christ;
Amasung chap mannaba thawaigi ising thakminnakhi. Makhoina makhoiga loinaduna chatminnariba thawaigi oiba nungjao adudagi ising thakkhi; aduga nungjao adu Christta masamak oirammi.
5 but in the most of them God was not well pleased, for they were strewn in the wilderness,
Adumak oidunasu makhoi ayambagi mathakta Tengban Mapuna penkhide, maram aduna makhoigi asiba hachangbu leikanglada chaithokkhi.
6 and those things became types of us, for our not passionately desiring evil things, as also these desired.
Makhoina toukhibagum eikhoina phattaba potsingda pukning luptanaba thoudoksing adu eikhoida pandam oina thokkhibani.
7 Neither become idolaters, as certain of them, as it has been written: “The people sat down to eat and to drink, and stood up to play”;
Makhoi kharana lai-murti latpa oikhibagumna nakhoina oiganu. Maramdi Mapugi puyada asumna iduna lei, “Makhoina thaknanaba amadi channanaba phamthakhi aduga makhe langduna laimurti latpasinggi oiba lamchat kamba jagoi sananaba hougatkhi.”
8 neither may we commit whoredom, as certain of them committed whoredom, and there fell in one day twenty-three thousand;
Aduga nongmada makhoi lising kunga-humdoi sihankhiba pap adu makhoi kharana toukhibagumna eikhoina nupa nupigi oiba amotpa thabak adu touroidabani.
9 neither may we tempt the Christ, as also certain of them tempted, and perished by the serpents;
Makhoi kharana Christtabu chang yengkhi aduga makhoi lilna chiktuna sikhi. Makhoina toukhiba asigumna nakhoina Christtabu chang yengganu.
10 neither murmur, as also some of them murmured, and perished by the destroyer.
Makhoi kharana murum murum sonduna wakhatkhi aduga manghan-tak-hanbagi dut aduna makhoibu hatkhi. Makhoina toukhiba asigumna nakhoina murum murum sonduna wakatkanu.
11 And all these things happened to those persons as types, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages came, (aiōn )
Masi pumnamaksing asi atoppasingda pandam oinaba makhoida thokkhibani aduga makhoina aroiba matam asida hingliba eikhoida cheksin-wa oinaba irambani. (aiōn )
12 so that he who is thinking to stand—let him observe, lest he fall.
Aduga nahakna chetna lepli haina khanjarabadi nahakna tudanaba cheksinjou.
13 No temptation has taken you—except that of man; and God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted above what you are able, but He will make, with the temptation, also the outlet, for your being able to bear [it].
Mioibagi punsida mahousa oiriba athembasing adu nattana athemba amata nakhoigi nathakta lakkhidri. Aduga Tengban Mapudi thajaba yabani. Nakhoina khaangba ngamba panggal adugi wangmada nakhoibu themdokpa mahakna yabiroi. Aduga nakhoina athemba taba matamda nakhoina khaangba ngamnaba panggal pibiduna nanthokchanaba lambi ama mahakna pibigani.
14 For this reason, my beloved, flee from the idolatry;
Maram aduna eigi nungsiraba marupsa, nakhoina lai murti latpadagi chenthok-u.
15 as to wise men I speak—judge what I say.
Eina asingba misingda ngangbagumna nakhoida ngangbani. Eina hairibasing asi nakhoi nasana wayenjou.
16 The cup of the blessing that we bless—is it not the fellowship of the blood of the Christ? The bread that we break—is it not the fellowship of the body of the Christ?
Ibungogi chakkhangbada eikhoina sijinnariba aduga madugidamak eikhoina Tengban Mapuda thagatchariba tenggot adudagi eikhoina thakminnaba matamda eikhoina Christtagi ee adu saruk phangminnaba nattra? Aduga eikhoina thugairiba tal adu eikhoina chaminnaba matamda eikhoina Christtagi hakchang adu saruk phangminnaba nattra?
17 Because one bread, one body, are we the many—for we all partake of the one bread.
Eikhoina yamlabasu tal amakhak oibagi maramna eikhoi hakchang amatani, maramdi eikhoi pumnamakna tal ama adudagi saruk phangminnei.
18 See Israel according to the flesh! Are those not eating the sacrifices in the fellowship of the altar?
Israel-gi misinggi maramda khallu: Iratpot chaba makhoising adu iratpunggi thougalda saruk phangminnabasing nattra?
19 What do I say then? That an idol is anything? Or that a sacrifice offered to an idol is anything?
Adu oirabadi lai murti amadi maduda katpa chananaba pot adu tesengnamka karigumba pot amani haina eina hairibra?
20 [No, ] but that the things that the nations sacrifice—they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not wish you to come into the fellowship of the demons.
Natte, adubu eina haibadi atoppa phurupsingna iratpot katpa adu lai phattabasingda katpani, Tengban Mapuda natte. Aduga nakhoina lai phattabasingga saruk phangminnaba eina pamde.
21 You are not able to drink the cup of the LORD and the cup of demons; you are not able to partake of the table of the LORD and of the table of demons;
Nakhoina Ibungogi tenggotaki thakpa aduga lai-phattabasinggi tenggottagisu thakpa yade. Amasung Ibunggogi table-dagisu chaba aduga lai phattabasinggi table-dagisu chaba yade.
22 do we arouse the LORD to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?
Eikhoina Ibungobu khambanhannaba hotnaribra? Eikhoina Ibungodagi henna kalli haina khanbra?
23 All things are lawful to me, but not all things are profitable; all things are lawful to me, but not all things build up;
“Eina karigumba ama hekta toubagi hak lei” haina nakhoina hai, adubu pumnamak kanabadi natte. “Eina karigumba ama hekta toubagi hak lei” adubu pumnamak semgatpadi natte.
24 let no one seek his own—but each another’s.
Nakhoi kananasu masagi kannaba thiroidabani, adubu atoppagi kananaba thigadabani.
25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat-market, not inquiring, because of the conscience,
Sa yonphamda yolliba sa pumnamak nakhoina nakhoigi achum aran khangnaba pukning aduda wahang amata hangdana chao.
26 for the earth and its fullness [are] the LORD’s;
Maramdi, Mapugi Puyada asumna iduna lei, “Malem amadi madugi manungda leiriba pot pumnamak MAPU IBUNGO-gini.”
27 and if anyone of the unbelieving calls you, and you wish to go, eat all that is set before you, inquiring nothing, because of the conscience;
Kanagumba thajadaba mi amana nakhoibu chak chanaba kourabadi aduga nakhoina chatpa pamlabadi nakhoina nakhoi achum aran khangnabagi pukning aduda wahang amata hangdana nakhoigi namangda thamli-thamliba adu chao.
28 and if anyone may say to you, “This is a thing sacrificed to an idol,” do not eat, because of that one who showed [it], and of the conscience, for the LORD’s [is] the earth and its fullness:
Adubu kanagumbana “Masi lai-murtida katlurabani” haina nakhoida hairabadi, nakhoida hairakliba mi adugidamak amadi achum aran khangnaba pukning adugi maramgidamak nakhoina madu chaganu.
29 and conscience, I say, not of yourself, but of the other, for why [is it] that my liberty is judged by another’s conscience?
Achum aran khangnaba pukning haina eina hairiba asi nakhoigi natte adubu atoppasinggini. Maramdi atoppagi achum aran khangnaba pukningna eigi ningtambabu karigi wayengadouribano?
30 And if I partake thankfully, why am I spoken of [as] evil, for that for which I give thanks?
Eina eigi chananaba adugidamak Tengban Mapubu thagatcharaga eina madu charabadi, eina thagatchakhraba pot adugidamak eigi maramda karigi phattana hairibano?
31 Whether, then, you eat, or drink, or do anything, do all to the glory of God;
Maram aduna nakhoina chaba oirabasu, thakpa oirabasu nattraga karigumba ama touba oirabasu nakhoina pumnamak adu Tengban Mapugi matik mangalgidamak tou.
32 become offenseless, both to Jews and Greeks, and to the Assembly of God;
Jihudi oirabasu, Jihudi nattaba phurup oirabasu, nattraga Tengban Mapugi singlup oirabasu nakhoina kanabusu khudi thihan-ganu.
33 as I also please all in all things, not seeking my own profit, but that of many—that they may be saved.
Eina hiram khudingmakta pumnamakpu pelhannaba hotnabagum nakhoinasu madu tou. Maramdi makhoina kanbiba phangnanaba ei isagi kanaba thidaduna miyamgi kanaba adu thi.
