Psalms 9
1 “To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi, na Halmutlabben pieśń Dawidowa. Będę wysławiał Pana ze wszystkiego serca mego; opowiadać będę wszysteki cuda twoje.
2 I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
Rozweselę się, i rozraduję się w tobie; będę śpiewał imieniowi twemu, o Najwyższy!
3 When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
Że się obrócili nieprzyjaciele moi na wstecz: upadli i poginęli od obliczności twojej.
4 For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
Boś ty odprawił sąd mój, i sprawę moję; zasiadłeś na stolicy, Sędzia sprawiedliwy.
5 Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
Rozgromiłeś pogan, zatraciłeś złośnika, imię ich wygładziłeś na wieki wieczne.
6 O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
O nieprzyjacielu! azaż wykonane są spustoszenia twoie na wieczność? Poburzyłżeś miasta? i owszem ich samych pamiątka zginęła z niemi.
7 But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
Ale Pan na wieki trwa; zgotował stolicę swoję na sąd.
8 And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
On będzie sądził okrąg ziemi w sprawiedliwości, i osądzi narody w prawości.
9 The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
I będzie Pan ucieczką ubogiemu, ucieczką czasu ucisku.
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
I będą ufać w tobie, którzy znają imię twoje; albowiem nie opuszczasz tych, Panie! którzy cię szukają.
11 Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
Śpiewajcież Panu, który mieszka na Syonie; opowiadajcie między narodami sprawy jego.
12 For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
Boć on szuka krwi, i mają w pamięci, a nie zapomina wołania utrapionych.
13 Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
Zmiłuj się nademną, Panie! obacz utrapienie moje od tych, którzy mię mają w nienawiści, ty, co mię wyrywasz z bram śmierci.
14 In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
Abym opowiadał wszystkie chwały twoje w bramach córki Syońskiej, weseląc się w zbawieniu twojem.
15 Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
Zanurzeni są poganie w dole, który uczynili; w sieci, którą skrycie zastawili, uwięzła noga ich.
16 The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
Oznajmił się Pan, gdy uczynił sąd; w sprawie rąk swoich się złośnik usidlił. Rzecz godna rozmyślania! (Sela)
Niepobożni się obrócą do piekła, wszystkie narody, które zapominają Boga. (Sheol h7585)
18 For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Bo nie będzie na wieki zapamiętany ubogi; oczekiwanie nędznych nie zginie na wieki.
19 Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
Powstańże, Panie! niech się nie zmacnia śmiertelny człowiek; a niech narody osądzone będą przed tobą.
20 Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
Panie! puść na nie strach, aby poznały narody, iż są ludźmi śmiertelnymi. (Sela)
