< Psalms 73 >

1 BOOK THIRD: “A Psalm of Assaph.” Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are pure of heart.
Nkunga Asafi. Bukiedika; Nzambi widi wumboti kuidi Iseli; kuidi bobo badi mintima mi vedila.
2 But as for me, it lacked but little that my feet had been moved: almost nothing was needed that my steps had slipped.
Vayi kuidi minu, fioti fisiala nganu malu mama masialumuka fioti fisiala nganu ndizimbisa singumnu ki kulu kuama.
3 For I was envious at the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
Bila ndizinina batu ba luniemo bu ndimona mamboti ma batu bambimbi.
4 For there are no deadly fetters for them, but their strength is firm.
Kadi mabienga bamonanga ko ayi zinitu ziawu zidi mu bivini ayi zibeki ngolo.
5 They share not in the trouble of mortals, and with men are they not afflicted.
Bamonanga ko ziphasi ziozi batu boso beti mona; bayamusungu ko mu bimbevo bi mbuanga batu boso.
6 Therefore is pride their neck-chain: violence envelopeth them as a garment.
Diawu luniemo luidi sieni mu madinga mawu baki vuikidi makhemi.
7 Their eyes start out from fatness: they have exceeded their heart's imaginings.
Mu mintima miawu mi matadi, muntotukila mambimbi zikhanu zimbimbi zi mayindu mawu zisi zaba zindilu ko.
8 They scorn, and speak wickedly of oppression: loftily do they speak.
Bamvueza; banyolukilanga mu bumbimbi; mu lunangu luawu, balembo kubika khuamusu.
9 They set their mouth in the heavens, and their tongue walketh busily on the earth.
Miunu miawu milembo nuanina diyilu ludimi luawu lueti vua ntoto.
10 Therefore do his people turn away hither: and waters of a full cup are drained by them.
Diawu batu bawu beti baluka kuidi bawu; beti nuanga nlangu mu buwombo.
11 And they say, How should God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
Beti tubanga: “Buevi Nzambi kela zabila e? Nzambi yizangama beki nzayilu e?”
12 Behold, these are the wicked; and yet prospering continually they increase in wealth.
Tala buawu bobo buididi batu bambimbi: mu kambu bela kadi diambu dimosi mayindu ko; beti yidikanga kimvuama.
13 Verily in vain have I thus cleansed my heart, and have washed in innocency my hands:
Bukiedika, mu phamba kuandi ndikebidi ntimꞌama wuvedila mu phamba kuandi ndisukudidi mioko miama mu monisa kambu kuama ku bila.
14 While I was afflicted all the day, and my chastisement [came] every morning.
Mu lumbu kimvimba minu nditutu khuba; nditambula thumbudulu kadika nsuka.
15 But if I were to say, I will speak thus: behold, I would be treacherous against the generation of thy children.
Enati ndituba: “Ndiela tuba banga bawu”, Nganu ndivakula bana baku.
16 And when I should think to know this, it would be trouble in my eyes;
Bu nditomba bu sukudila mambu moso mama buna diba khuamusu kuidi minu.
17 Until I enter into the sanctuary of God; and understand what their future will be.
Nate ndikota mu khati buangu kinlongo ki Nzambi, buna bosi ndisudika tsukulu awu.
18 Surely thou placest them on slippery spots: thou lettest them fall down into destruction.
Bukiedika, ngeyo wukuba tulanga mu ntoto widi ndelo; ngeyo weti kuba loza ku mbivusu.
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they perish, they come to their end with terrific events.
Babungini mu kinzimbukila batumbulu lalakana mu diambu di tsisi yingolo.
20 As a dream after awaking, O Lord, reject thou in wrath their image.
Banga ndozi, mutu bu kakotukidi; buawu bobo bu wela kotuka, a Yave, wela kuba lenza banga bima bi phamba.
21 For it fermented in my heart, and in my reins I felt sharp thrusts;
Mu thangu ntimꞌama wubedi kiaki ayi pheve ama yibedi mu kingongo,
22 But I was indeed foolish, and I knew it not: I was as a [thoughtless] beast with thee.
Minu ndiba vungisi; ndisia ba nzayilu ko; Ndiba bulu kinsitu va ntualꞌaku.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast seized hold of me by my right hand.
Muaki ndidi kaka va kimosi ayi ngeyo mu zithangu zioso; wutsimbidila mu koko kuama ku lubakala;
24 With thy counsel wilt thou guide me, and afterward take me on to glory.
Ngeyo weti kundiatisa mu zindongi ziaku, ayi bosi ngeyo wela kuthambula mu nkembo.
25 Whom have I in heaven? and beside thee I desire nothing upon earth.
Nani wunkaka widi yama mu Diyilu enati ngeyo ko e? Ntoto kasi kadi kima ko kioki ndieti mona phuila enati ngeyo ko e?
26 Though my flesh and my heart should fall; yet the rock of my heart, and my portion will be God for ever.
Nsuni ama ayi ntimꞌama bibeki bu vongila vayi Nzambi niandi zingolo zi ntimꞌama ayi kuku kiama mu zithangu zioso.
27 For, lo, those that are far from thee shall perish: thou destroyest every one that strayeth away from thee.
Bobo badi thama ayi ngeyo bela biva ngeyo wela bunga batu boso bobo bakambulu bakuikama kuidi ngeyo.
28 But as regardeth me, to draw near to God is good for me: I have put in the Lord Eternal my trust, that I may relate all thy works.
Vayi kuidi minu, didi diambu di mboti mu fikama Nzambi. Ndikitula Yave, mutu wumvanganga makazodidi suamunu kiama. Ndiela yolukila mavanga maku moso.
