< Psalms 128 >
1 “A song of the degrees.” Happy is every one that feareth the Lord, that walketh in his ways.
Svētku dziesma. Svētīgs ikviens, kas To Kungu bīstas un staigā viņa ceļos.
2 When thou eatest the labor of thy hands: [then] wilt thou be happy, and it shall be well with thee.
Tu mitināsies no savu roku darba; svētīgs tu esi, tev labi klājās.
3 Thy wife is [then] as a fruitful vine in the recesses of thy house: thy children, like olive-plants round about thy table.
Tava sieva būs kā auglīgs vīna koks ap tavu namu, tavi bērni kā eļļas zari ap tavu galdu.
4 Behold, truly thus shall be blessed the man that feareth the Lord.
Redzi, tā ir svētīts tas vīrs, kas To Kungu bīstas.
5 May the Lord bless thee out of Zion: and see thou the happiness of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Tas Kungs lai tevi svētī no Ciānas, ka tu redzi Jeruzālemes labumu visas savas mūža dienas,
6 And see thou thy children's children: may there be peace upon Israel.
Un redzi savu bērnu bērnus: Miers lai ir pār Israēli.
