Job 36
1 Then continued Elihu, and said,
౧ఎలీహు ఇంకా ఇలా అన్నాడు.
2 Wait for me a little, and I will instruct thee; for [I have] still some words on God's behalf.
౨కొంతసేపు నన్ను మాట్లాడనియ్యి. కొన్ని సంగతులు నీకు తెలియజేస్తాను. ఎందుకంటే దేవుని పక్షంగా నేనింకా మాట్లాడవలసి ఉంది.
3 I will lift up my knowledge for him who is afar, and for my Maker will I obtain righteousness.
౩దూరం నుండి నేను జ్ఞానం తెచ్చుకుంటాను. నీతి అనేది నన్ను సృష్టించిన వాడికే చెందుతుందని అంటాను.
4 For truly no falsehood is [in] my words: one that is upright in [his] opinions [dealeth now] with thee.
౪నా మాటలు ఏమాత్రం అబద్ధాలు కావు. పూర్ణ జ్ఞాని ఒకడు నీ ఎదుట ఉన్నాడు.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of intellect.
౫దేవుడు బలవంతుడు గానీ ఆయన ఎవరినీ తిరస్కారంగా చూడడు. ఆయన వివేచనాశక్తి ఎంతో బలమైనది.
6 He permitteth not the wicked to live; but he procureth justice for the afflicted.
౬భక్తిహీనుల ప్రాణాన్ని ఆయన కాపాడడు. ఆయన దీనులకు న్యాయం జరిగిస్తాడు.
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous; but [he placeth them] with kings on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
౭నీతిమంతులను ఆయన చూడక పోడు. ఆయన వారిని నిత్యం సింహాసనంపై కూర్చునే రాజులతోబాటు కూర్చోబెడతాడు. వారు ఘనత పొందుతారు.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and if they be entangled in the cords of affliction:
౮వారు సంకెళ్లతో బంధితులైతే, బాధలు అనే తాళ్ళు వారిని కట్టివేస్తే,
9 Then doth he tell them of their work, and of their transgressions, when they had become strong.
౯అప్పుడు వారికి ఆయన వెల్లడిస్తాడు, వారి అపరాధాలు, వారు గర్వంగా ప్రవర్తించిన సంగతులు వారికి తెలియజేస్తాడు.
10 And he openeth thus their ear to correction, and saith that they should return from wrong-doing.
౧౦ఉపదేశం వినడానికి వారి చెవులు తెరుస్తాడు. పాపాన్ని విడిచి రండని ఆజ్ఞ ఇస్తాడు.
11 If they hearken and serve [him], they will spend their days in happiness, and their years in pleasures.
౧౧వారు ఆలకించి ఆయనను సేవించినట్టయితే తమ దినాలను క్షేమంగాను తమ సంవత్సరాలను సుఖంగాను వెళ్లబుచ్చుతారు.
12 But if they hearken not, they will pass away through the sword, and they will perish in want of knowledge.
౧౨వారు ఆలకించక పోతే వారు కత్తివాత కూలి నశిస్తారు. వారికి జ్ఞానం లేనందువల్ల చనిపోతారు.
13 But the hypocrites in heart persevere in wrath; they will not offer entreaty when he bindeth them:
౧౩అయినా భక్తిలేని వారు లోలోపల క్రోధం పెంచుకుంటారు. ఆయన వారిని బంధించినా సరే వారు మొర పెట్టరు.
14 Their soul will die in youth, and their life, among the incestuous.
౧౪కాబట్టి వారు యవ్వనప్రాయంలోనే మరణిస్తారు. వారి బ్రతుకు అప్రదిష్ట పాలవుతుంది.
15 He delivereth the afflicted through his affliction, and openeth through oppression his ear.
౧౫బాధపడే వారిని వారికి కలిగిన బాధ వలన ఆయన విడిపిస్తాడు. బాధ వలన వారిని విధేయులుగా చేస్తాడు.
16 And also thee hath he incited away from the jaws of distress into a wide space, on the site of which there is no straitness; and what is set on thy table is full of fatness.
౧౬అంతేగాక బాధలోనుండి ఆయన నిన్ను తప్పిస్తాడు. కష్టం లేని విశాల స్థలానికి నిన్ను తోడుకుపోతాడు. నీ భోజనం బల్లపై ఉన్న ఆహారాన్ని కొవ్వుతో నింపుతాడు.
17 But if thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: [divine] judgment and decree will support each other.
౧౭దుష్టుల తీర్పు నీలో నిండి ఉంది. న్యాయవిమర్శ, తీర్పు కలిసి నిన్ను పట్టుకున్నాయి.
18 For there would be fury, If aught were to incite thee to utter an abundance [of rebellious words]; and the greatness of the infliction must not mislead thee.
౧౮కలిమి నిన్ను మోసానికి ప్రేరేపించనియ్యవద్దు. పెద్ద మొత్తంలో లంచం నిన్ను న్యాయం నుండి దారి మళ్ళించనియ్యవద్దు.
19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold ore, nor all the highest forces of strength.
౧౯నీ సంపదలు నువ్వు బాధల పాలు కాకుండా నిన్ను కాపాడతాయా? నీ బల ప్రభావాలు నీకు సాయపడతాయా?
20 Desire then not eagerly the night, when nations pass away in their place.
౨౦ఇతరులకు వ్యతిరేకంగా పాపం చేయడం కోసం రాత్రి రావాలని కోరుకోవద్దు. మనుషులను తమ స్థలాల్లో నుండి కొట్టివేసే చీకటి కోసం చూడవద్దు.
21 Take heed, turn not thyself to wrong-doing, so that thou wouldst choose this because of [thy] affliction.
౨౧పాపానికి తిరగకుండా జాగ్రత్తపడు. నువ్వు పాపం చెయ్యకుండా ఉండేలా నీ బాధల మూలంగా నీకు పరీక్షలు వస్తున్నాయి.
22 Behold, God is exalted by his power: who is an instructer like him?
౨౨ఆలోచించు, దేవుడు శక్తిశాలి, ఘనుడు. ఆయనను పోలిన ఉపాధ్యాయుడు ఎవరు?
23 Who hath given him a charge concerning his way? or who hath ever said, Thou hast acted unjustly?
౨౩ఆయనకు మార్గం సూచించిన వాడెవడు? “నువ్వు దుర్మార్గపు పనులు చేస్తున్నావు” అని ఆయనతో పలకడానికి ఎవరు తెగిస్తారు?
24 Reflect, that thou shouldst magnify his work, which [other] men have beheld.
౨౪ఆయన కార్యాలను కీర్తించు. మనుషులు వాటిని గురించే పాడారు.
25 All men have looked at it [with astonishment]; the mortal gazeth at it from afar.
౨౫మనుష్యులంతా వాటిని చూశారు. అయితే వారు దూరంగా నిలిచి ఆ కార్యాలను చూశారు.
26 Behold, God is great, and we comprehend him not, the number of his years can truly not be searched out.
౨౬ఆలోచించు, దేవుడు గొప్పవాడు. మనం ఆయనను సరిగా అర్థం చేసుకోలేము. ఆయన సంవత్సరాలను ఎవరూ లెక్కబెట్టలేరు.
27 For he taketh away drops of water, which are purified into rain in his mist:
౨౭ఆయన నీటిబిందువులను తెస్తాడు. తన మంచును వానచినుకుల్లాగా మార్చి కురిపిస్తాడు.
28 These drop down out of the skies; they distil upon the multitude of men.
౨౮మేఘాలు వాటిని కుమ్మరిస్తాయి. మనుషుల మీదికి అవి జడివానగా కురుస్తాయి.
29 But [what man] can understand the outspreadings of the clouds? the tumult of his tabernacle?
౨౯నిజంగా మేఘాలు ముసిరే విధానం ఎవరైనా అర్థం చేసుకోగలరా? ఆయన మందిరం లోనుండి ఉరుములు వచ్చేదెలాగో ఎవరికైనా తెలుసా?
30 Behold, he spreadeth out over it his light, and covereth up the roots of the sea.
౩౦చూడు, ఆయన తన చుట్టూ తన మెరుపును వ్యాపింపజేస్తాడు. సముద్రాన్ని చీకటితో ఆయన కప్పుతాడు.
31 For by means of them he judgeth nations, he giveth food in superfluity.
౩౧ఈ విధంగా ఆయన మనుషులకు ఆహారం పెడతాడు. ఆయన ఆహారాన్ని పుష్కలంగా ఇస్తాడు.
32 [His] hands he covereth with light; and he commandeth it to strike the one who striveth against him.
౩౨తన చేతుల్లో ఉరుములను పట్టుకుంటాడు. గురికి తగలాలని ఆయన వాటికి ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తాడు.
33 The noise of his storm telleth of it, yea, the cattle also, of the rising tempest.
౩౩వాటి గర్జన ముంచుకు వస్తున్న తుఫానును మనుషులకు తెలుపుతుంది. పశువులకు సైతం దాని రాకడ తెలుసు.
