Job 34
1 And Elihu commenced, and said,
౧అప్పుడు ఎలీహు మళ్ళీ ఇలా చెప్పసాగాడు.
2 Hear, O ye wise men, my words; and ye that have knowledge, give ear unto me.
౨జ్ఞానులారా, నా మాటలు వినండి. అనుభవశాలులారా, వినండి.
3 For the ear proveth words, as the palate tasteth the food.
౩అంగిలి ఆహారాన్ని రుచి చూసినట్టు చెవి మాటలను పరీక్షిస్తుంది.
4 Let us choose for ourselves what is just: let us acknowledge between ourselves what is good.
౪న్యాయమైనదేదో విచారించి చూద్దాం రండి. మేలైనదేదో మనంతట మనం విచారించి తెలుసుకుందాము రండి.
5 For Job hath said, “I am righteous; and God hath taken away justice from me.
౫“నేను నీతిమంతుణ్ణి, దేవుడు నాకు అన్యాయం చేసాడు.
6 Should I lie concerning the justice due me? incurable is [my wound from] the arrow I bear in me without any transgression.”
౬నేను న్యాయవంతుడినైనా అబద్ధికునిగా చూస్తున్నారు. నేను తిరుగుబాటు చేయకపోయినా నాకు మానని గాయం కలిగింది” అని యోబు అంటున్నాడు.
7 What man is there like Job, who drinketh scorning like water,
౭యోబులాంటి మానవుడెవరు? అతడు మంచి నీళ్లవలె తిరస్కారాన్ని పానం చేస్తున్నాడు.
8 And is on the road to keep company with the wrong-doers, and to walk with men of wickedness?
౮అతడు చెడుతనం చేసే వారికి మిత్రుడయ్యాడు. భక్తిహీనుల చెలికాడు అయ్యాడు.
9 For he hath said, “It profiteth a man nothing when he acteth according to the pleasure of God.”
౯మనుషులు దేవునితో సహవాసం చేయడం వారికేమాత్రం ప్రయోజనకరం కాదని అతడు చెప్పుకుంటున్నాడు.
10 Therefore ye men of sense hearken unto me: far is it from God to practise wickedness; and from the Almighty to do wrong!
౧౦విజ్ఞానం గల మనుషులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించండి దేవుడు అన్యాయం చేయడం అసంభవం. సర్వశక్తుడు దుష్కార్యం చేయడం అసంభవం.
11 For the work of a son of earth doth he recompense unto him, and according to the path of man doth he permit things to occur to him.
౧౧మనుషుల క్రియలకు తగినట్టుగా ఆయన వారికి ప్రతిఫలం ఇస్తాడు అందరికీ ఎవరి మార్గాలను బట్టి వారికి ఫలమిస్తాడు.
12 Yea, surely God will not condemn unjustly, nor will the Almighty pervert justice.
౧౨దేవుడు ఏ మాత్రం దుష్కార్యం చేయడు. సర్వశక్తుడు న్యాయం తప్పడు.
13 Who hath given him a charge concerning the earth? or who hath intrusted [him] the whole world?
౧౩ఎవడైనా భూమిని ఆయనకు అప్పగింత పెట్టాడా? ఎవడైనా సర్వప్రపంచ భారాన్ని ఆయనకు అప్పగించాడా?
14 If he were to set his heart upon man, he would gather unto himself his spirit and his breath:
౧౪ఆయన తన మనస్సు తన దగ్గరే ఉంచుకున్నట్టయితే, తన ఆత్మను, ఊపిరినీ తన దగ్గరికి తిరిగి తీసుకుంటే,
15 All flesh would perish together, and the son of earth would return again unto dust.
౧౫శరీరులంతా ఒక్కపెట్టున నశిస్తారు. మనుషులు మళ్ళీ ధూళిగా మారిపోతారు.
16 If then thou wishest to understand, hear this: give ear to the sound of my words.
౧౬కాబట్టి దీన్ని విని వివేచించు, నా మాటలు ఆలకించు.
17 Is it possible that he who hateth justice should govern? or wilt thou condemn the righteous mighty One?
౧౭న్యాయాన్ని ద్వేషించేవాడు లోకాన్ని ఏలుతాడా? న్యాయసంపన్నునిపై నేరం మోపుతావా?
18 [Is it fit] to say to a king, Thou art worthless? and to princes, Ye are wicked?
౧౮నువ్వు పనికిమాలిన వాడివని రాజుతోనైనా, మీరు దుష్టులని ప్రధానులతోనైనా అనవచ్చా?
19 Whereas he is one that showeth no favor to chieftains, and distinguisheth not the rich before the indigent; for all of them are the work of his hands.
౧౯రాజుల పట్ల పక్షపాతం చూపని వాడితో పేదలకన్నా ధనికులను ఎక్కువగా చూడని వాడితో అలా పలకవచ్చా? వారందరూ ఆయన నిర్మించినవారు కారా?
20 In a moment will they die, and in the midst of the night; people are moved, and pass away: and the mighty will be removed without a human hand.
౨౦వారు నిమిషంలో చనిపోతారు. అర్థరాత్రి వేళ ప్రజలు కల్లోలం పాలై నాశనమౌతారు. బలవంతులను తీసుకు పోవడం జరుగుతుంది, అయితే అది మానవ హస్తాల వలన కాదు.
21 For big eyes are upon the ways of man, and all his steps doth he see.
౨౧ఆయన దృష్టి మనుషుల మార్గాల మీద ఉంది. ఆయన వారి నడకలన్నీ కనిపెట్టి చూస్తున్నాడు.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the evil-doers can hide themselves.
౨౨చెడు కార్యాలు చేసే వారు దాక్కోడానికి చీకటైనా మరణాంధకారమైనా లేదు.
23 For he need not direct [his attention] a long time upon man, that he should enter into judgment before God.
౨౩ఒక మనిషిని న్యాయవిమర్శలోకి తీసుకు రాక ముందు అతణ్ణి ఎక్కువ కాలం విచారణ చేయడం దేవుడికి అవసరం లేదు.
24 He breaketh down mighty men without [long] searching, and placeth others in their stead.
౨౪విచారణ లేకుండానే బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలం చేస్తున్నాడు. వారి స్థానంలో ఇతరులను నియమిస్తున్నాడు.
25 For the reason that he knoweth their deeds: therefore he overturneth them in the night, and they are crushed.
౨౫వారి క్రియలను ఆయన తెలుసుకుంటున్నాడు. రాత్రివేళ ఇలాటి వారిని ఆయన కూలదోస్తాడు. వారు నాశనమై పోతారు.
26 Among wicked men doth he strike them, in the place where [many] see them:
౨౬అందరూ చూస్తుండగానే దుష్టులను వారి దుర్మార్గాన్ని బట్టి నేరస్తులను శిక్షించినట్టు ఆయన శిక్షిస్తాడు.
27 Because they have departed from following him, and have not considered all his ways.
౨౭ఎందుకంటే వారు ఆయనను అనుసరించడం మానుకున్నారు. ఆయన ఆజ్ఞల్లో దేన్నీ లక్ష్య పెట్టలేదు.
28 Bringing before them the cry of the indigent, and the cry of the afflicted which he had to hear.
౨౮పేదల మొరను ఆయన దగ్గరికి వచ్చేలా చేశారు. దీనుల మొర ఆయనకు వినబడేలా చేశారు.
29 When he now granteth rest, who will condemn [him]! and when he hideth his face, who can behold him? whether it be against a nation, or against one man, it is the same:
౨౯ఆయన మౌనంగా ఉండిపోతే తీర్పు తీర్చగలవాడెవడు? ఆయన తన ముఖాన్ని దాచుకుంటే ఆయనను చూడగలవాడెవడు? ఆయన జాతులనైనా వ్యక్తులనైనా ఒకే విధంగా పరిపాలిస్తాడు.
30 That no hypocritical man may reign, that such shall not be a mare to the people.
౩౦భక్తిహీనులు రాజ్యపాలన చేయకుండా, వారు ప్రజలను ఇకపై చిక్కించుకోకుండా ఆయన చేస్తాడు.
31 For truly it is only fitting to say unto God, “I bear [cheerfully], I will not do any wrong;
౩౧ఒకడు “నేను దోషినే, కానీ ఇకపై పాపం చేయను.
32 What I cannot see myself, do thou truly teach me; if I have done what is unjust, I will do so no more.”
౩౨నాకు తెలియని దాన్ని నాకు నేర్పించు. నేను పాపం చేశాను. ఇకపై చేయను” అని దేవునితో చెప్పాడనుకో,
33 Should he then according to thy view send a recompense, because thou hast rejected him? “Because thou must choose, and not I?” and what thou knowest, do speak.
౩౩దేవుడు చేస్తున్నది నీకు నచ్చడం లేదు గనక అలాటి మనిషిని దేవుడు శిక్షిస్తాడు అనుకుంటున్నావా? నేను కాదు, నువ్వే నిశ్చయించుకోవాలి. కాబట్టి నీకు తెలిసినది చెప్పు.
34 Men of sense will say unto me, and every wise man who heareth me,
౩౪వివేచన గలవారు, జ్ఞానంతో నా మాట వినేవారు నాతో ఇలా అంటారు.
35 That Job hath not spoken with knowledge, and that his words are without intelligence.
౩౫యోబు తెలివితక్కువ మాటలు పలుకుతున్నాడు. అతని మాటలు బుద్ధిహీనమైనవి.
36 Oh that Job may therefore be probed continually, in order to give answers against sinful men.
౩౬యోబు దుష్టులవలె మాట్లాడుతున్నాడు గనక అతనిపై సునిశితమైన విచారణ జరిగితే ఎంత బాగుంటుంది!
37 For he addeth unto his sin transgression: among us he uttereth too many loud words, and multiplieth his speeches against God.
౩౭అతడు తన పాపానికి తోడుగా ద్రోహం సమకూర్చుకుంటున్నాడు. మన ఎదుట ఎగతాళిగా చప్పట్లు కొట్టి దేవుని మీద కాని మాటలు కుప్పగా పోస్తున్నాడు.
