Job 30
1 But now [they that are] younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.
“तर अहिले त मभन्दा साना उमेरकाहरूले मेरो हाँसो उडाउँछन्, जसका बुबाहरूलाई मेरो भेडाहरूको गोठालो कुकुरहरूको दर्जामा राख्न पनि अयोग्य ठान्थेँ।
2 Yea, whereto [might] the strength of their hands [profit] me, in whom old age was perished?
तिनीहरूको जोश तिनीहरूबाट गइसकेको हुनाले, मेरा निम्ति तिनीहरूका हातको बल के नै कामको थियो र?
3 For want and famine [they were] solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.
अभाव र भोकले दुब्लाएर, तिनीहरू राति सुक्खा जमिनमा भौँतारिन्थे, र उजाड ठाउँतिर डुलिहिँड्थे।
4 Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots [for] their meat.
तिनीहरूले झाडीबाट नुनिला झारपातहरू बटुल्थे, र तिनीहरूको भोजन कुचोको झाङका जराहरू थिए।
5 They were driven forth from among [men], (they cried after them as [after] a thief; )
तिनीहरू मानव समाजबाट धपाइएका थिए, तिनीहरूलाई चोरहरूलाई जस्तै लखेटिन्थ्यो।
6 To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, [in] caves of the earth, and [in] the rocks.
तिनीहरूलाई सुक्खा खोलाका बगरहरूमा, चट्टान र जमिनका दुलोहरूमा बस्न बाध्य गराइन्थ्यो।
7 Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
तिनीहरू झाडीहरूमा कराई हिँड्थे र पोथ्राहरूको मुनि गुटमुटिरहन्थे।
8 [They were] children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
तिनीहरू मूर्ख र नामथर विहीन सन्तानहरू थिए; तिनीहरूलाई देशबाट निकालिएको थियो।
9 And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.
“तर अहिले तिनीहरूका छोराहरूले गीत गाएर मलाई गिल्ला गर्छन्; म त तिनीहरूको बीचमा हाँसोको पात्र भएको छु।
10 They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.
तिनीहरूले मलाई घृणा गर्छन्, र मबाट टाढै रहन्छन्; तिनीहरूले मेरो मुखमा थुक्नधरि अप्ठ्यारो मान्दैनन्।
11 Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.
अहिले परमेश्वरले मेरो धनुलाई तारविनाको बनाइदिनुभएको छ र मलाई पीडा दिनुभएको छ; तिनीहरूले मेरो सामु संयमता त्यागेका छन्।
12 Upon [my] right [hand] rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
मेरो दाहिनेतिर एउटा झुण्डले आक्रमण गर्छ; तिनीहरूले मेरो खुट्टाको लागि पासो थाप्छन्, तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा घेरा लगाउँछन्।
13 They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
तिनीहरूले मेरो बाटो भत्काउँछन्; तिनीहरूले, ‘यसलाई कसैले सहायता गर्दैन,’ भनेर मलाई नाश गर्न सफल हुन्छन्।
14 They came [upon me] as a wide breaking in [of waters: ] in the desolation they rolled themselves [upon me].
तिनीहरू पर्खालका चेपहरूबाट छिरेर अगि बढ्छन्; तिनीहरू भग्नावशेषहरूबाट ठेलमठेल गर्दै मतिर आउँछन्।
15 Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
मलाई त्रासले छाएको छ; मेरो प्रतिष्ठा बतासले उडाएजस्तै भएको छ, मेरो सुरक्षा बादलजस्तै हराएको छ।
16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
“र अहिले मेरो जीवन मभित्रै छोटिँदै गइरहेको छ; कष्टपूर्ण दिनहरूले मलाई पक्रेका छन्।
17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
रातले मेरा हड्डीहरूलाई छेड्छ; मलाई पिरोल्ने पीडा कहिल्यै थामिँदैन।
18 By the great force [of my disease] is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
परमेश्वर आफ्नो महान् शक्तिमा मेरो लुगाझैँ हुनुभएको छ; उहाँले मलाई मेरो लुगाको कठालोले जस्तै गरी घाँटीमा अँठ्यानुभएको छ।
19 He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
उहाँले मलाई हिलोमा फ्याँक्नुभएको छ, अनि म धुलो र खरानीजस्तै भएको छु।
20 I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me [not].
“हे परमेश्वर, म तपाईंलाई पुकार्दछु, तर तपाईंले मलाई जवाफ दिनुहुन्न; म प्रार्थनामा खडा हुन्छु, तर तपाईंले मलाई हेर्नु पनि हुन्न।
21 Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.
तपाईं मसँग निर्दयी हुनुभएको छ; आफ्नो बलियो हातले मलाई आक्रमण गर्नुहुन्छ।
22 Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride [upon it], and dissolvest my substance.
तपाईंले मलाई उचाल्नुहुन्छ र हावाको अगाडि पछार्नुहुन्छ; तपाईंले मलाई आँधीमा यताउति हुर्र्याउनुहुन्छ।
23 For I know [that] thou wilt bring me [to] death, and [to] the house appointed for all living.
म जान्दछु कि तपाईंले मलाई मृत्युमा पुर्यानुहुन्छ, त्यस ठाउँमा, जुन सबै जीवित प्राणीहरूका निम्ति तोकिएको छ।
24 Howbeit he will not stretch out [his] hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
“पीडित मानिसले आफ्नो कष्टमा सहायताको निम्ति बिन्ती गर्दा निश्चय नै त्यसमाथि कसैले हात उठाउँदैन।
25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was [not] my soul grieved for the poor?
के म सङ्कष्टमा परेकाहरूका निम्ति रोएको थिइनँ र? के मेरो आत्मा गरिबका निम्ति शोकित भएन र?
26 When I looked for good, then evil came [unto me: ] and when I waited for light, there came darkness.
तरै पनि मैले असल कुराको निम्ति आशा गर्दा दुष्टता नै आइलाग्यो; मैले ज्योतिको खोजी गर्दा अन्धकार नै आइलाग्यो।
27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.
मभित्रको उथलपुथल कहिल्यै थामिँदैन; कष्टका दिनहरूले मेरो सामना गर्छन्।
28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, [and] I cried in the congregation.
म कालो भएको छु, तर घामले होइन; म सभामा खडा हुन्छु, र सहायताको निम्ति कराउँछु।
29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
म त स्यालहरूको भाइ, उल्लुहरूको साथी भएको छु।
30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.
मेरो छाला डढेर कालो भएको छ, र पिल्सिएको छ; मेरो शरीर ज्वरोले जलेको छ।
31 My harp also is [turned] to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.
मेरो वीणा शोकमा परिणत भएको छ, र मेरो बाँसुरीले विलापको आवाज निकाल्छ।
