< Job 32 >
1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
Sababii Iyyoob nama qajeelaa of seʼeef namoonni sadan kunneen deebii kennuufii dhiisan.
2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
Eliihuun ilmi Barakeel Buuzichi maatiin Raamii sun garuu sababii Iyyoob qooda Waaqaa qajeelaa of godheef akka malee itti aare.
3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
Akkasumas sababii isaan Iyyoobitti muruu malee deebii hin qabaatiniif Eeliihuun michoota Iyyoob sadanitti akka malee aare.
4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
Eliihuun waan namoonni sun umuriidhaan isa caalaniif utuu dursee Iyyoobitti hin dubbatin ture.
5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
Garuu yeroo akka namoonni sun sadan waan dubbatan dhaban argetti aariin isaa ittuma caale.
6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and all of you are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you mine opinion.
Kanaafuu Eliihuun ilmi Barakeel Buuzichaa sun akkana jedhe: “Ani umuriidhaan xinnaa dha; isin garuu jaarsolii dha; kanaafuu ani yaada koo isinitti himuu nan saalfadhe; nan sodaadhes.
7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
Ani, ‘Umuriin ni dubbata; barri dheeraanis ogummaa barsiisa’ jedhee yaadeen ture.
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding.
Garuu hafuura nama keessa jiru, hafuura Waaqni Waan Hunda Dandaʼu itti baafatutu hubannaa kennaaf.
9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
Ogeessi jaarsa qofa miti; kan waan qajeelaa hubatus, nama umurii dheeraa qofa miti.
10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show mine opinion.
“Kanaafuu ani akkana nan jedhaa na dhaggeeffadhaa; anis waanan beeku isinitti nan hima.
11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst all of you searched out what to say.
Ani yeroo isin dubbattan nan obse; yeroo isin jechoota filattanitti illee ani dubbii ogummaa kan isin dubbattan nan dhaggeeffadhe;
12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
ani qalbeeffadheen isin dhagaʼe. Garuu isin keessaa namni tokko iyyuu akka inni dogoggore Iyyoobin hin amansiifne; namni tokko iyyuu falmii isaatiif deebii hin kennine.
13 Lest all of you should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusts him down, not man.
Isin, ‘Nu ogummaa arganneerra; nama utuu hin taʼin, Waaqni isa irra haa aanu’ hin jedhinaa.
14 Now he has not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
Iyyoob garuu dubbii isaatiin na hin tuqne; anis falmii keessaniin deebii isaaf hin kennu.
15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
“Isaan abdii kutatanii waan jedhan dhaban; dubbiinis isaan harkaa badde.
16 When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more; )
Erga isaan calʼisanii, erga isaan deebii kennan tokko illee dhabanii achi dhadhaabatanii, ani eeguun qabaa?
17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will show mine opinion.
Ani deebii koo nan kenna; waanan beeku nan hima.
18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constrains me.
Dubbiin na keessa guuteeraatii; hafuurri na keessa jirus na kakaasa;
19 Behold, my belly is as wine which has no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
garaan koo akkuma daadhii wayinii kan qadaadamee, akkuma qalqalloo daadhii wayinii haaraa dhoʼuun gaʼeetii.
20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
Ani dubbadhee qabbaneeffachuun qaba; afaan koo banadhees deebii kennuun qaba.
21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
Ani nama wal hin caalchisu; yookaan nama tokko iyyuu hin saadu.
22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
Utuu ani nama saaduu beekee, Uumaan koo silaa dafee lafa irraa na balleessa ture.
