< 1 Peter 1 >
1 Peter, an apostle of Yahushua the Messiah, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Nye, Petro, Yesu Kristo ƒe apostolo gbɔe agbalẽ sia tso, Na Mawu ƒe ame tiatia siwo nye amedzrowo le xexea me, ame siwo kaka ɖe Ponto, Galatia, Kapadokia, Asia kple Bitinia nutowo me,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of YHWH the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Yahushua the Messiah: Favour unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
ame siwo wotia le Mawu, Fofo la ƒe nunya nu, to Gbɔgbɔ la ƒe ŋutikɔklɔ ƒe dɔwɔwɔ me, hena toɖoɖo Yesu Kristo kple eƒe ʋuhehlẽ la me. Amenuveve kple ŋutifafa nanye mia tɔ le agbɔsɔsɔ me.
3 Blessed be the El and Father of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Yahushua the Messiah from the dead,
Woakafu Mawu, ame si nye míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo Fofo! Le eƒe nublanuikpɔkpɔ sɔgbɔ la ta wòna gbugbɔdzi mí ɖe mɔkpɔkpɔ gbagbe me, to Yesu Kristo ƒe tsitretsitsi tso ame kukuwo dome me.
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Eye wòtsɔ domenyinu si magblẽ o, si malũ xɛ alo aklo o la na mí, domenyinu si wodzra ɖo ɖe dziƒo na mi,
5 Who are kept by the power of YHWH through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
ame siwo ŋu wotɔ kpɔ ɖo kple Mawu ƒe akpoxɔnu, to xɔse me va se ɖe esime woaɖe ɖeɖe si wodzra ɖo na nuwuwuɣeyiɣiwo la afia.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
Togbɔ be fifia la, ele na mi be miaxa nu le dodokpɔ ƒomevi geɖewo me hena ɣeyiɣi ʋɛ aɖewo hã la, miele dzidzɔ manyagblɔ kpɔm le mɔkpɔkpɔ sia ta.
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Yahushua the Messiah:
Esiawo va mia dzi ale be miaƒe xɔse si xɔ asi wu sika si gblẽna, evɔ wololõe le dzo me hafi, be woakpɔ miaƒe xɔse be enye nyateƒetɔ, ale wòahe kafukafu, ŋutikɔkɔe kple bubu vɛ, ne woɖe Yesu Kristo fia.
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Togbɔ be miekpɔe kpɔ o hã la, mielɔ̃e, eye togbɔ be miele ekpɔm fifia o hã la, miexɔ edzi se, eye dzidzɔ manyagblɔ si ŋuti ŋutikɔkɔe le la yɔ mia me fũu,
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
elabena miele miaƒe xɔse ƒe taɖodzinu si nye miaƒe luʋɔwo ƒe ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ la xɔm.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the favour that should come unto you:
Ɖeɖe sia tae Mawu ƒe nyagblɔɖila siwo ƒo nu tso amenuveve si le mia dzi va ge ŋuti la ku nu gɔme vevie kple beléle tɔxɛ,
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Messiah which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Messiah, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Woɖee fia wo be menye woawo ŋutɔ ɖokuiwo subɔm wole o, ke boŋ miawoe, esi woƒo nu le nu siwo wogblɔ na mi azɔ la ŋuti, to ame siwo gblɔ nyanyui la na mi, to Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe si wodɔ ɖo ɖa tso dziƒo la dzi. Mawudɔlawo gɔ̃ hã di vevie be yewoakpɔ nu siawo.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the favour that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Yahushua the Messiah;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
Abe vi ɖotowo ene la, migadze ŋutilã ƒe nudzodzro vɔ̃ siwo nɔ mia me, esi mienɔ agbe le numanyamanya me la yome o,
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
ke boŋ abe ale si ame si yɔ mi la le kɔkɔe ene la, miawo hã minɔ kɔkɔe le nu sia nu si miewɔna la me,
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
elabena woŋlɔ ɖi be, “Minɔ kɔkɔe elabena nye la mele kɔkɔe.”
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
Esi mieyɔa Fofo si drɔ̃a ʋɔnu ame sia ame ƒe dɔ ameŋkumemakpɔmakpɔtɔe la, minɔ agbe abe amedzrowo ene le afi sia le vɔvɔ̃ kɔkɔe me.
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
Elabena mienya bena menye sika kple klosalo si gblẽna lae wotsɔ xe fe ɖe mia ta heɖe mi tso agbe vlo si mia fofowo gblẽ ɖi na mi la me o,
19 But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
ke boŋ kple Kristo ƒe ʋu xɔasi, ame si nye alẽvi si ŋuti mokaka kple kpɔtsɔtsɔ mele o.
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Wotiae hafi wova wɔ xexea me, gake woɖee fia le ɣeyiɣi mamlɛtɔ siawo me le mia ta.
21 Who by him do believe in YHWH, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in YHWH.
To eya amea dzi la, miexɔ Mawu dzi se, ame si fɔe tso ame kukuwo dome, hetsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe ɖɔ nɛ, ale miaƒe xɔse kple mɔkpɔkpɔ le Mawu me.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Azɔ esi miekɔ mia ɖokuiwo ŋu to toɖoɖo nyateƒe la me be lɔlɔ̃ si me alakpa mele o la nanɔ mia si na mia nɔviwo ŋuti la, milɔ̃ mia nɔewo vevie tso dzi me ke.
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of YHWH, which liveth and abideth for ever. (aiōn )
Elabena wogbugbɔ mi gadzi, menye tso ku gbegblẽ me o, ke boŋ tso ku magblẽmagblẽ me, to Mawu ƒe nya si le agbe, eye wònɔa anyi tegbetegbe la me. (aiōn )
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
Elabena, “Amegbetɔwo katã le abe gbe ene, eye woƒe atsyɔ̃ le abe seƒoƒo le gbe me ene, gbe ƒuna, eye seƒoƒo yrɔna, gena,
25 But the word of YHWH endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (aiōn )
ke Aƒetɔ la ƒe nya la nɔa anyi yi ɖe mavɔ me.” Ke esiae nye nya si wogblɔ na mi la. (aiōn )
