Psalms 45

1 MY heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

۱ برای سالار مغنیان بر سوسنها. قصیده بنی قورح. سرود حبیبات دل من به کلام نیکو می‌جوشد. انشاءخود را درباره پادشاه می‌گویم. زبان من قلم کاتب ماهر است.

2 Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

۲ تو جمیل تر هستی ازبنی آدم و نعمت بر لبهای تو ریخته شده است. بنابراین، خدا تو را مبارک ساخته است تا ابدالاباد.

3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

۳ ‌ای جبار شمشیر خود را بر ران خود ببند، یعنی جلال و کبریایی خویش را.

4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

۴ و به کبریایی خودسوار شده، غالب شو به جهت راستی و حلم وعدالت و دست راستت چیزهای ترسناک را به توخواهد آموخت.

5 Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

۵ به تیرهای تیز تو امت‌ها زیر تومی افتند و به دل دشمنان پادشاه فرو می‌رود.

6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

۶ ‌ای خدا، تخت تو تا ابدالاباد است؛ عصای راستی عصای سلطنت تو است.

7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

۷ عدالت را دوست وشرارت را دشمن داشتی. بنابراین خدا خدای توتو را به روغن شادمانی بیشتر از رفقایت مسح کرده است.

8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

۸ همه رختهای تو مر و عود و سلیخه است، از قصرهای عاج که به تارها تو را خوش ساختند.

9 Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

۹ دختران پادشاهان از زنان نجیب توهستند. ملکه به‌دست راستت در طلای اوفیرایستاده است.

10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;

۱۰ ‌ای دختر بشنو و ببین و گوش خود را فرادار. و قوم خود و خانه پدرت رافراموش کن،

11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

۱۱ تا پادشاه مشتاق جمال تو بشود، زیرا او خداوند تو است پس او را عبادت نما.

12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

۱۲ ودختر صور با ارمغانی. و دولتمندان قوم رضامندی تو را خواهند طلبید.

13 The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

۱۳ دختر پادشاه تمام در اندرون مجید است و رختهای او با طلا مرصع است.

14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

۱۴ به لباس طرازدار نزد پادشاه حاضر می‌شود. باکره های همراهان او در عقب وی نزد تو آورده خواهند شد.

15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.

۱۵ به شادمانی وخوشی آورده می‌شوند و به قصر پادشاه داخل خواهند شد.

16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

۱۶ به عوض پدرانت پسرانت خواهند بود و ایشان را بر تمامی جهان سروران خواهی ساخت.

17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

۱۷ نام تو را در همه دهرها ذکرخواهم کرد. پس قوم‌ها تو را حمد خواهند گفت تا ابدالاباد.
