< Romans 3 >
1 What advantage then has the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
ARI, da me Juj akan paieki mon me tei kan de da kadepan jirkomjaij?
2 Much every way: chiefly, because that to them were committed the oracles of God.
O me toto, ni jon karoj; iet kaieu: Majan en Kot akan kanikid on irail.
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
A ma akai jopojon a pil menda? Pwe ar jopojon pan kak kawela kalanan en Kot?
4 God forbid: yes, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged.
O jo! Pwe Kot udan melel, a aramaj karoj me likam duen a intinidier: Ir eta me pun ni ar majan akan, o komui pan kotin poedi ni ar pakadeikada.
5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance? (I speak as a man)
A ma atail japun kaindinda pun en Kot, da me kitail en inda? Dadue, Kot me pil japun, pweki a kotin onion kida? I kin lokaia ni tiak en aramaj.
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
O jo! Pwe ma iduen, Kot pan kak kadeikada jappa?
7 For if the truth of God has more abounded through my lie to his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
Pwe ma melel en Kot pwai kida ai likam kan, pwen kalinanada i, menda i pan pakadeikada, dene dipan amen nai?
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say, ) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
A jo mau on duen at indand jued, pwe akai kin inda, me dene kit kin padaki wei: Kitail en wiada me jued, pwen kareda me mau? Nan arail kalokolok me pun.
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Iaduen atail pai mau jan arail? Kaidin, pwe je kadededar, me Juj o men Krik karoj mi pan dip,
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Duen a intinidier: Jota me pun amen, jota amen.
11 There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God.
Jota me lolekon amen, jota me kin rapaki Kot.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one.
Karoj me japunlar, irail wiaki eu mamalar, jota meamen, me kin wiada me mau, jota amen.
13 Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Tapin wor arail me rajon joujou eu, me jaikenta jarep pena, lo arail me re liliapaki, wini en kamela mimi ni oton ni arail;
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Au ar me dir en lalaue o katik,
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Na arail me marara on kamela aramaj;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
Nan al arail me dir en jued omauk;
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
A al en popol me re jaja;
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Re jota kin majak Kot.
19 Now we know that what things soever the law said, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
A kitail ajaer, me kapun o lolok on, me kin papa kapun pwe au karoj en japaimokid o jappa pon lodi on kadeik en Kot.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Ari mon Kot jota uduk me pan pun kila a wiawia kapun, pwe kapun me dip kadiarokidar;
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
A anjau wet pun en Kot janjaledar likin kapun o kadedekidar kapun o jaukop akan.
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and on all them that believe: for there is no difference:
A pun en Kot me pwili jan pojon Iejuj Krijtuj, ap lel on karoj me pojon.
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Pwe jota lipilipil, karoj me wiadar dip o jota kak konodi linan en Kot.
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Irail pan pun kila a mak japan, pweki en Krijtuj Iejuj a kotin dore kitail lar,
25 Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Me Kot kotin kajanjaledar ni wiala mol en kalanan ni pojon nt’a, pwen kajanjaleda a pun nia kotin lapwada dip en maj akan, miier pan papadake en Kot.
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus.
A anjau wet a kotin kadededa a pun. Ieteten, me pein i me pun, ap pan kotin kapunala Karoj me pojon Iejuj.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? No: but by the law of faith.
Ari, ia men juaiki? A lokidokilar! Ren kapun da? En wiawia kan? Kaidin, a ren kapun en pojon.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Ari, iet me je inda: Aramaj en pun kila pojon a kaidin wiawia en kapun kan.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
De Kot en men Juj akan arail Kot eta? Kaidin pil Kot en men liki kan? Ei melel, pil en men liki!
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Ari, Kot me ta men, me kin kapun kila me jirkomjaij akan pweki pojon, pil jojirkomjaij akan pweki pojon.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yes, we establish the law.
laduen, kitail kin tiakedi kapun pweki pojon? O jo! pwe kitail kin kapwaiada kapun o.
