< John 7 >

1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
MURIN mepukat Iejuj kotin kakan jili Kalilaa, pwe a jolar men kakan jili Iudaa, pweki Juj oko majamajan kamatala i.
2 Now the Jew’s feast of tabernacles was at hand.
A ran lapalap en Juj oko; iei ran en im en tan tuka korendor.
3 His brothers therefore said to him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that your disciples also may see the works that you do.
Ri a ol akan ap indai on i: Kom kotiwei kotilan Iudaa, pwe omui tounpadak kan en pil udial omui wiawia kan, me kom kin wiawia.
4 For there is no man that does any thing in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.
Pwe jota me kin wiada meakot waja rir, ma a men indand jili. Ma komui wia mepukat, en kajanjale on jappa.
5 For neither did his brothers believe in him.
Pwe ri a ol akan pil jota pojon i.
6 Then Jesus said to them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready.
Iejuj ap kotin majani ow irail: Ai anjau jaikenta leler, a omail anjau mia anjau karoj.
7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Jappa jota kak kailonki komail, a nai me a kin kailonki, aki I kin kadede, me a wiawia kan me jued.
8 Go you up to this feast: I go not up yet to this feast: for my time is not yet full come.
Komail kodalan kamadip et, I jota pan kodalan kamadip et, pwe ai anjau jaikenta leler.
9 When he had said these words to them, he stayed still in Galilee.
A kotin majani on irail mepukat, ap kotikotita Kalilaa.
10 But when his brothers were gone up, then went he also up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
A ri a ol akan lao jamalar, i ap pil kotidalan kamadip, ap jo janjal a duen me rir.
11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
Juj akan ari rapaki i ni kamadip o indada: Ari, ia waja a kotikot ia?
12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, No; but he deceives the people.
A aramaj akan lokolokaia toto duen i, pwe akai indada: Me mau men. A akai me indada: Kaidin, pwe a kin kaweid japun aramaj.
13 However, no man spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews.
Jota me lokaia janjal duen i, pweki ar majak Juj oko.
14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
Lao lel ailepan kamadip o, Iejuj ap kotin kodalan im en kaudok o kaukaweweda.
15 And the Jews marveled, saying, How knows this man letters, having never learned?
A Juj akan ap puriamui kila indada: Da duen men et aja wewe en kijin likau, pwe a jota ian padakki.
16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
Iejuj ap kotin japen irail majani: Kaidin ai padak, me I kin kida a en me kadar ia do.
17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Meamen wiawia kupur a, pan weweki ai padak, ma a ren Kot, de jan ren pein nai.
18 He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
Me kin padapadak jan ni pein i, kin rapaki pein wau i, a me kin rapaki wau en me kadarala i, iei me melel o jota man jued kot pit.
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why go you about to kill me?
Kaidin Mojej, me ki on komail kapun o, a jota amen komail kin kapwaiada kapun o? A da me komail rapakiki kame ia la?
20 The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you?
Aramaj oko japen indada: Koe me tanwar en tewil, ij me rapaki kame uk ala?
21 Jesus answered and said to them, I have done one work, and you all marvel.
Iejuj kotin japen majani on irail: Dok taieu, me I wiadar, a komail puriamui kila.
22 Moses therefore gave to you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers; ) and you on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
Mojej ki on komail er jirkomjaij, a kaidin tapi jan ren Mojej, pwe jan ren jam akan, a komail kin jirkomjaij aramaj ni ran en japat.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are you angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
Ari ma aramaj amen ale jirkomjaij ni ran en japat, pwe kapun en Mojej ender japunala, a komail kin juede kin ia, pweki ai kakelailada aramaj pon ni ran en japat?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Der kadeikada duen pali liki, a komail kajaui nin tiak en kadeik pun.
25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
Men Ierujalem kai ap inda: Kaidin i, me re raparapaki en kamela?
26 But, see, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing to him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
A kilan, a padapadak janjal, a re jota man lokaia on i, de muein jaumaj akan ajaer mau, me i Krijtuj?
27 However, we know this man from where he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows from where he is.
Ari, je ajaer, waja men et ko jan ia, a Krijtuj lao kotido jota me pan aja waja, me a pwarado jan ia.
28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, You both know me, and you know from where I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not.
Iejuj ap kotin kapitie laudeda kawewe nan im en kaudok majani: Komail aja ia o waja I ko jan ia. Ari, kaidin pein nai, me I kokido, a me kadar ia dor, me melel, me komail jaja.
29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he has sent me.
A I aja i, pwe I kodo jan re a, o i me kadar ia dor.
30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
Irail ap jon jaikidi i, a jota me jair i, pwe a anjau kaikenta leler,
31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ comes, will he do more miracles than these which this man has done?
Aramaj toto jan nan pokon o pojonla i indada: Iaduen, Krijtuj lao pwarado, a pan wia kilel toto jan mepukat, me men et wiadar?
32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
Parijar akan ronadar, me aramaj akan lokelokaia mepukat duen i. Jamero lapalap o Parijar akan ap kadarala papa kan, en jaikidi i.
33 Then said Jesus to them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go to him that sent me.
Iejuj ap kotin majani: I pan mi re omail anjau motomot. I ap pan kola ren me kadar ia do.
34 You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither you cannot come.
Komail pan rapakin ia, ap jota diar, a waja, me I pan mi ia, komail jota pan kak on.
35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Where will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go to the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
Juj oko ap inda nan pun arail: A pan kola ia, pwe jen jolar diar i? A pan kola ren me jalonalar ren men Krik kan, kaukawewe on men Krik?
36 What manner of saying is this that he said, You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither you cannot come?
Iaduen majan en, me a indada: Komail pan rapakin ia, ap jota diar, a waja, me I pan mi ia, komail jota pan kak on?
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come to me, and drink.
Ni ran en kamadip a nikilar, ni ran lapalap o, Iejuj kotida, kapitie laudeda majani: Meamen men nim piladar, i en ko don ia nim.
38 He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Me pojon ia, duen kijin likau kan indada, jan nan war a pil memaur pan pwilipwili jan
39 (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Mepukat a kotin majani duen Nen, me irail, me pojon i, en tunole; pwe Nen jaikenta pakadarado, aki Iejuj jaikenta linanlar.
40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
Ari, akai jan nan pokon o ni ar ronadar majan pukat ap indada: Melel Jaukop o.
41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?
A akai indada: Krijtuj men et! A akai indada: Da, Krijtuj pan pwarado jan Kalilaa?
42 Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
Kaidin kijin likau me inda, me Krijtuj pan wan Dawid o kijan men Petleem, kanim o, me Dawid kotikot ia?
43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
Irail ap liak toror pajan pweki i.
44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
A akai men jaikidi i, a jota me jair i.
45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said to them, Why have you not brought him?
A papa ko ap pure don ren jamero lapalap o Parijar akan. Irail ari idok re irail: Da me komail jota wakido?
46 The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.
A papa ko japen: Jota man aramaj amen padapadak duen men et.
47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are you also deceived?
Parijar oko ap japen irail: Komail pil pakodauelar?
48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
Iaduen jaumaj de Parijar amen pojonla i?
49 But this people who knows not the law are cursed.
A aramaj pukat, me jo aja kapun o, re rialar.
50 Nicodemus says to them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them, )
Nikodemuj kij arail ap indan irail:
51 Does our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he does?
Iaduen, atail kapun pil kin kadeikada aramaj amen mon a ron o aja jan pein i duen a wiawia?
52 They answered and said to him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee rises no prophet.
Irail japen indan i: Iaduen, komui pil kijan men Kaliliia? Rapaki o kilan, me jota jaukop amen ko jan Kalilaa.
53 And every man went to his own house.
Amen amen ap purelan deu a.
