Mark 15
1 AND immediately the chief priests having held a council in the morning, with the elders, and scribes, and the whole sanhedrim, after binding Jesus, led him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.
ਅਥ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੇ ਸਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਯਾਜਕਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਾਞ੍ਚ ਉਪਾਧ੍ਯਾਯਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਣਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਭਾਂ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਂ ਬਨ੍ਧਯਿਤ੍ਵ ਪੀਲਾਤਾਖ੍ਯਸ੍ਯ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਧਿਪਤੇਃ ਸਵਿਧੰ ਨੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਯਾਮਾਸੁਃ|
2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? He answering said to him, Thou sayest true.
ਤਦਾ ਪੀਲਾਤਸ੍ਤੰ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਕਿੰ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ? ਤਤਃ ਸ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯੁਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਸਿ|
3 And the chief priests laid many accusations against him.
ਅਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਯਾਜਕਾਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਬਹੁਸ਼਼ੁ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਦੋਸ਼਼ਮਾਰੋਪਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੁਃ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯੁਵਾਚ|
4 Then Pilate again interrogated him, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they testify against thee.
ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਪੀਲਾਤਸ੍ਤੰ ਪੁਨਃ ਪਪ੍ਰੱਛ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਕਿੰ ਨੋੱਤਰਯਸਿ? ਪਸ਼੍ਯੈਤੇ ਤ੍ਵਦ੍ਵਿਰੁੱਧੰ ਕਤਿਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਾਧ੍ਯੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਦਦਤਿ|
5 But Jesus notwithstanding made not a word of reply; so that Pilate marvelled.
ਕਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਦਾਪਿ ਨੋੱਤਰੰ ਦਦੌ ਤਤਃ ਪੀਲਾਤ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਜਗਾਮ|
6 Now at the feast, he released one prisoner to them, whomsoever they petitioned for.
ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਕਾਰਾਬੱਧੇ ਕਸ੍ਤਿੰਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਜਨੇ ਤਨ੍ਮਹੋਤ੍ਸਵਕਾਲੇ ਲੋਕੈ ਰ੍ਯਾਚਿਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਧਿਪਤਿਸ੍ਤੰ ਮੋਚਯਤਿ|
7 And there was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made an insurrection with him, and had committed murder in the insurrection.
ਯੇ ਚ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਮੁਪਪ੍ਲਵਮਕਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੁਰੁਪਪ੍ਲਵੇ ਵਧਮਪਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤਦਾਨੋਂ ਬਰੱਬਾਨਾਮਕ ਏਕੋ ਬੱਧ ਆਸੀਤ੍|
8 And the multitude, clamorous, began to petition him to do, as he had always done to them.
ਅਤੋ ਹੇਤੋਃ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਾਪਰੀਯਾਂ ਰੀਤਿਕਥਾਂ ਕਥਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਉੱਚੈਰੁਵਨ੍ਤਃ ਪੀਲਾਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਨਿਵੇਦਯਾਮਾਸੁਃ|
9 Then Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the king of the Jews?
ਤਦਾ ਪੀਲਾਤਸ੍ਤਾਨਾਚਖ੍ਯੌ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਕਿੰ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਨੰ ਮੋਚਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ? ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਕਿਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ?
10 (For he knew that out of envy the chief priests had delivered him up.)
ਯਤਃ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਯਾਜਕਾ ਈਰ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਤ ਏਵ ਯੀਸ਼ੁੰ ਸਮਾਰ੍ਪਯੰਨਿਤਿ ਸ ਵਿਵੇਦ|
11 Then the chief priests stirred up the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਥਾ ਬਰੱਬਾਂ ਮੋਚਯਤਿ ਤਥਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਿਤੁੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਯਾਜਕਾ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਵਰ੍ੱਤਯਾਮਾਸੁਃ|
12 Then Pilate addressing them, said unto them again, What therefore do you wish that I should do with him whom ye call the king of the Jews?
ਅਥ ਪੀਲਾਤਃ ਪੁਨਃ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੰ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਰਾਜੇਤਿ ਵਦਥ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਿੰ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਕਿਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ?
13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.
ਤਦਾ ਤੇ ਪੁਨਰਪਿ ਪ੍ਰੋੱਚੈਃ ਪ੍ਰੋਚੁਸ੍ਤੰ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਵੇਧਯ|
14 Then Pilate said unto them, But what criminal act hath he done? And they cried the more vociferously, Crucify him.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਪੀਲਾਤਃ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਕੁਤਃ? ਸ ਕਿੰ ਕੁਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍? ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤੇ ਪੁਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਰੁਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਵ੍ਯਾਜਹ੍ਰੁਸ੍ਤੰ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਵੇਧਯ|
15 So Pilate, willing to do what would be satisfactory to the people, released to them Barabbas, and delivered Jesus to be scourged, in order to be crucified.
ਤਦਾ ਪੀਲਾਤਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾੱਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਤੋਸ਼਼ਯਿਤੁਮਿੱਛਨ੍ ਬਰੱਬਾਂ ਮੋਚਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁੰ ਕਸ਼ਾਭਿਃ ਪ੍ਰਹ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਵੇੱਧੁੰ ਤੰ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਯਾਮ੍ਬਭੂਵ|
16 Then the soldiers led him to the hall, which is the Praetorium, and called together the whole band.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਸੈਨ੍ਯਗਣੋ(ਅ)ੱਟਾਲਿਕਾਮ੍ ਅਰ੍ਥਾਦ੍ ਅਧਿਪਤੇ ਰ੍ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁੰ ਨੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਸੇਨਾਨਿਵਹੰ ਸਮਾਹੁਯਤ੍|
17 And they invested him with a robe of purple, and platting a crown of thorns, put it about his head,
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਤੇ ਤੰ ਧੂਮਲਵਰ੍ਣਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੰ ਪਰਿਧਾਪ੍ਯ ਕਣ੍ਟਕਮੁਕੁਟੰ ਰਚਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ਼ਿਰਸਿ ਸਮਾਰੋਪ੍ਯ
18 and began to pay their salutations to him, Hail, King of the Jews!
ਹੇ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਰਾਜਨ੍ ਨਮਸ੍ਕਾਰ ਇਤ੍ਯੁਕ੍ਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰ ਨਮਸ੍ਕਰ੍ੱਤਾਮਾਰੇਭਿਰੇ|
19 And they struck him on the head with a cane, and spat upon him, and bowing their knees payed him homage.
ਤਸ੍ਯੋੱਤਮਾਙ੍ਗੇ ਵੇਤ੍ਰਾਘਾਤੰ ਚਕ੍ਰੁਸ੍ਤਦ੍ਗਾਤ੍ਰੇ ਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਠੀਵਞ੍ਚ ਨਿਚਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪੁਃ, ਤਥਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸੰਮੁਖੇ ਜਾਨੁਪਾਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਣੋਮੁਃ
20 And when they had treated him with mockery, they took off the purple robe from him, and clothed him with his own garments, and led him out to crucify him.
ਇੱਥਮੁਪਹਸ੍ਯ ਧੂਮ੍ਰਵਰ੍ਣਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਮ੍ ਉੱਤਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੰ ਤੰ ਪਰ੍ੱਯਧਾਪਯਨ੍ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਵੇੱਧੁੰ ਬਹਿਰ੍ਨਿਨ੍ਯੁਸ਼੍ਚ|
21 And they compel one Simon, a Cyrenian, who was passing by, coming out of the field, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਸੇਕਨ੍ਦਰਸ੍ਯ ਰੁਫਸ੍ਯ ਚ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ਼ਿਮੋੰਨਾਮਾ ਕੁਰੀਣੀਯਲੋਕ ਏਕਃ ਕੁਤਸ਼੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਗ੍ਰਾਮਾਦੇਤ੍ਯ ਪਥਿ ਯਾਤਿ ਤੰ ਤੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੰ ਵੋਢੁੰ ਬਲਾਦ੍ ਦਧ੍ਨੁਃ|
22 And they convey him to a place called Golgotha, which is being interpreted, The place of a skull.
ਅਥ ਗੁਲ੍ਗਲ੍ਤਾ ਅਰ੍ਥਾਤ੍ ਸ਼ਿਰਃਕਪਾਲਨਾਮਕੰ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਮਾਨੀਯ
23 And they gave him to drink wine medicated with myrrh: but he received it not.
ਤੇ ਗਨ੍ਧਰਸਮਿਸ਼੍ਰਿਤੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੰ ਪਾਤੁੰ ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਦਦੁਃ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਨ ਜਗ੍ਰਾਹ|
24 And having crucified him, they divided his garments, casting the lot upon them, what each should take.
ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਧੇ ਸਤਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮੇਕੈਕਸ਼ਃ ਕਿੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਸ੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਨਿਰ੍ਣਯਾਯ
25 Now it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਰਿਧੇਯਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਗੁਟਿਕਾਪਾਤੰ ਚਕ੍ਰੁਃ|
26 And there was an inscription of his crime written over him, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
ਅਪਰਮ੍ ਏਸ਼਼ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਰਾਜੇਤਿ ਲਿਖਿਤੰ ਦੋਸ਼਼ਪਤ੍ਰੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਿਰਊਰ੍ਦ੍ੱਵਮ੍ ਆਰੋਪਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੁਃ|
27 And with him they crucified two robbers, one on his right hand, and the other on his left.
ਤਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਮਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਯੋ ਰ੍ਦ੍ਵੌ ਚੌਰੌ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ਯੋ ਰ੍ਵਿਵਿਧਾਤੇ|
28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, “And he was reckoned among the transgressors.”
ਤੇਨੈਵ "ਅਪਰਾਧਿਜਨੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਸ ਗਣਿਤੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ," ਇਤਿ ਸ਼ਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੋਕ੍ਤੰ ਵਚਨੰ ਸਿੱਧਮਭੂਤ|
29 And they who passed along, blasphemed him, shaking their heads, and saying, Aha! thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਮਾਰ੍ਗੇ ਯੇ ਯੇ ਲੋਕਾ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨੇ ਚਕ੍ਰੁਸ੍ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵ ਏਵ ਸ਼ਿਰਾਂਸ੍ਯਾਨ੍ਦੋਲ੍ਯ ਨਿਨ੍ਦਨ੍ਤੋ ਜਗਦੁਃ, ਰੇ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਰੇ ਦਿਨਤ੍ਰਯਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤੰਨਿਰ੍ੰਮਾਯਕ,
30 save thyself, and come down from the cross.
ਅਧੁਨਾਤ੍ਮਾਨਮ੍ ਅਵਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ਾਦਵਰੋਹ|
31 And in the same manner also, the chief priests mocking him, among each other, with the scribes, said, He saved others, himself he cannot save.
ਕਿਞ੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਯਾਜਕਾ ਅਧ੍ਯਾਪਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਦ੍ਵਤ੍ ਤਿਰਸ੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਚਚਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਰੇ ਏਸ਼਼ ਪਰਾਨਾਵਤ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ੍ਵਮਵਿਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤਿ|
32 Thou Messiah, King of Israel, come now down from the cross, that we may see, and believe. Even those who were crucified with him railed on him.
ਯਦੀਸ੍ਰਾਯੇਲੋ ਰਾਜਾਭਿਸ਼਼ਿਕ੍ਤਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਭਵਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹ੍ਯਧੁਨੈਨ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ਾਦਵਰੋਹਤੁ ਵਯੰ ਤਦ੍ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਃ; ਕਿਞ੍ਚ ਯੌ ਲੋਕੌ ਤੇਨ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ (ਅ)ਵਿਧ੍ਯੇਤਾਂ ਤਾਵਪਿ ਤੰ ਨਿਰ੍ਭਰ੍ਤ੍ਸਯਾਮਾਸਤੁਃ|
33 Now when the sixth hour came, there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
ਅਥ ਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਯਾਮਾਤ੍ ਤ੍ਰੁʼਤੀਯਯਾਮੰ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੋ ਦੇਸ਼ਃ ਸਾਨ੍ਧਕਾਰੋਭੂਤ੍|
34 And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabacthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, for what cause hast thou abandoned me?
ਤਤਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੁʼਤੀਯਪ੍ਰਹਰੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰੁੱਚੈਰਵਦਤ੍ ਏਲੀ ਏਲੀ ਲਾਮਾ ਸ਼ਿਵਕ੍ਤਨੀ ਅਰ੍ਥਾਦ੍ "ਹੇ ਮਦੀਸ਼ ਮਦੀਸ਼ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਪਰ੍ੱਯਤ੍ਯਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਃ ਕੁਤੋ ਹਿ ਮਾਂ?"
35 And some of those who stood by, hearing him, said, Behold, he crieth for Elias.
ਤਦਾ ਸਮੀਪਸ੍ਥਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਕੇਚਿਤ੍ ਤਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਮ੍ਯਾਚਖ੍ਯੁਃ ਪਸ਼੍ਯੈਸ਼਼ ਏਲਿਯਮ੍ ਆਹੂਯਤਿ|
36 Then one ran, and filling a sponge with vinegar, fixed it round a cane, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone, let us see if Elias comes to take him down.
ਤਤ ਏਕੋ ਜਨੋ ਧਾਵਿਤ੍ਵਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਪਞ੍ਜੇ (ਅ)ਮ੍ਲਰਸੰ ਪੂਰਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰ ਨਡਾਗ੍ਰੇ ਨਿਧਾਯ ਪਾਤੁੰ ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਦੱਤ੍ਵਾਵਦਤ੍ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠ ਏਲਿਯ ਏਨਮਵਰੋਹਯਿਤੁਮ੍ ਏਤਿ ਨ ਵੇਤਿ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਾਮਿ|
37 Then Jesus, uttering a loud cry, gave up the ghost.
ਅਥ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰੁੱਚੈਃ ਸਮਾਹੂਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਨ੍ ਜਹੌ|
38 And the vail of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.
ਤਦਾ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ੍ਯ ਜਵਨਿਕੋਰ੍ਦ੍ੱਵਾਦਧਃਰ੍ੱਯਨ੍ਤਾ ਵਿਦੀਰ੍ਣਾ ਦ੍ਵਿਖਣ੍ਡਾਭੂਤ੍|
39 And the centurion, who stood opposite to him, observing, that with such a cry he gave up the ghost, said, Assuredly this was the Son of God.
ਕਿਞ੍ਚ ਇੱਥਮੁੱਚੈਰਾਹੂਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਨ੍ ਤ੍ਯਜਨ੍ਤੰ ਤੰ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਦ੍ਵਾ ਤਦ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਾਯ ਨਿਯੁਕ੍ਤੋ ਯਃ ਸੇਨਾਪਤਿਰਾਸੀਤ੍ ਸੋਵਦਤ੍ ਨਰੋਯਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਇਤਿ ਸਤ੍ਯਮ੍|
40 Now there were also women looking on at a distance; among whom also was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the small, and the mother of Joses, and Salome.
ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਮਗ੍ਦਲੀਨੀ ਮਰਿਸਮ੍ ਕਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਯਾਕੂਬੋ ਯੋਸੇਸ਼੍ਚ ਮਾਤਾਨ੍ਯਮਰਿਯਮ੍ ਸ਼ਾਲੋਮੀ ਚ ਯਾਃ ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਯੋ
41 These women followed him when he was in Galilee, and supplied his wants; and many other women who went up with him to Jerusalem.
ਗਾਲੀਲ੍ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੁੰ ਸੇਵਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਦਨੁਗਾਮਿਨ੍ਯੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਇਮਾਸ੍ਤਦਨ੍ਯਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਾ ਅਨੇਕਾ ਨਾਰ੍ਯੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨਾ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮਮਾਯਾਤਾਸ੍ਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਦੂਰਾਤ੍ ਤਾਨਿ ਦਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੁਃ|
42 And when the evening was now come (since it was the preparation, that is the day preceding the sabbath),
ਅਥਾਸਾਦਨਦਿਨਸ੍ਯਾਰ੍ਥਾਦ੍ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਰਾਮਵਾਰਾਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਦਿਨਸ੍ਯ ਸਾਯੰਕਾਲ ਆਗਤ
43 Joseph, who was from Arimathea, came, a respectable person, a counsellor, and who himself also was expecting the kingdom of God; taking courage, he went in to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਰਾਜ੍ਯਾਪੇਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਰਿਮਥੀਯਯੂਸ਼਼ਫਨਾਮਾ ਮਾਨ੍ਯਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰੀ ਸਮੇਤ੍ਯ ਪੀਲਾਤਸਵਿਧੰ ਨਿਰ੍ਭਯੋ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਰ੍ਦੇਹੰ ਯਯਾਚੇ|
44 Then Pilate marvelled that he should be already dead: and calling for the centurion, he asked him, If he had been dead any time.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਇਦਾਨੀਂ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਃ ਪੀਲਾਤ ਇਤ੍ਯਸਮ੍ਭਵੰ ਮਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ਼ਤਸੇਨਾਪਤਿਮਾਹੂਯ ਸ ਕਦਾ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ ਇਤਿ ਪਪ੍ਰੱਛ|
45 And when he knew it from the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
ਸ਼ਤਸੇਮਨਾਪਤਿਮੁਖਾਤ੍ ਤੱਜ੍ਞਾਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੂਸ਼਼ਫੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਰ੍ਦੇਹੰ ਦਦੌ|
46 And having bought a wrapper of fine linen, and taken him down, he wrapped him in the linen cloth, and laid him in a sepulchre, which was hewn out of a rock; and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulchre.
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਸ ਸੂਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਮੰ ਵਾਸਃ ਕ੍ਰੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਕਾਯਮਵਰੋਹ੍ਯ ਤੇਨ ਵਾਸਸਾ ਵੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਗਿਰੌ ਖਾਤਸ਼੍ਮਸ਼ਾਨੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਪਾਸ਼਼ਾਣੰ ਲੋਠਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਿ ਨਿਦਧੇ|
47 Now Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Joses, saw where he was laid.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਤ੍ਰ ਸੋਸ੍ਥਾਪ੍ਯਤ ਤਤ ਮਗ੍ਦਲੀਨੀ ਮਰਿਯਮ੍ ਯੋਸਿਮਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਮਰਿਯਮ੍ ਚ ਦਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁʼਃ|
