John 17
1 THESE things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee:
O Yesu ayanjile amambo ega; nantele abhozya amaso gakwe ahwenyelezye amwanya na yanje, “Daada, esala efishile; mwamishe omwana waho ili omwana wope nkamwamishe awe -
2 even as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that with regard to all those whom thou hast given him, he should give to them eternal life: (aiōnios g166)
nashi shila shopiye enguvu huu vyonti vyavili nobele aje abhapele owomi wewilawila bhonti wopiye. (aiōnios g166)
3 and this is eternal life, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou hast sent, Jesus, the Messiah. (aiōnios g166)
Ou wowomi wewilawila: aje bhamanye awe, Ongolobhe we lyoli na woli humwene, nolo wotumile, oYesu Kilisti. (aiōnios g166)
4 I have glorified thee upon earth: I have completed the work which thou gavest me to perform.
Namwamishe epa pansi, naimalezye embombo yohampiye aje enjibhombe.
5 And now, Father, do thou glorify me with thyself in the glory which I held with thee before the world was.
Esalaezi, Daada, omwamishe ane pamoja nawe wewe huumihwe uula wendi nowo pandwemo nawe sheti seele abhombwe ensi.
6 I have made known thy name to the persons whom thou gavest me out of the world: for thee they had a being, and to me thou hast given them; and thy word have they kept.
Nalikwinkuye itawa lyaho hwa bhantu bhompiye epa pansi. Bhali bhantu bhaho; ila wampiye ane. na bhope bhalikhete izu lyaho.
7 Now have they known, that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee.
Esalezi ohwelewa aje shila hantu hompiye ane hafumile huliwe,
8 For the declarations which thou gavest to me I have delivered to them; and they have received them, and have known assuredly that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou hast sent me.
hu mazu gala gompiye ane— Embapelile abhahale amazu ego. Wagejeleye nantele na wamanya aje ane enfumile huliwe, na bheteshela aje awe wontumile.
9 I entreat for them: I make no request for the world; but for those thou hast given me; for they are thine.
Embaputila abhahale. Senjiputila ensi ila bhala bhompiye afuatanaje abhahale wahuliwe.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine mine; and I have been glorified in them.
Evintu vyonti evyahuline vyahuliwe na vila vyolinavyo vyahuline nane emwamihwa hwevyo.
11 And now no longer am I in this world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father! preserve them for thy name’s sake whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
Ane sehwendi nantele munsi, ila bhahale bhahweli munsi, nane esalezi ehwenza huliwe. Daada Wozelu, omwoyo obhasonje hwi tawa lyaho lila bhabhe nolwonvano nanshi shila ane nawe shatili no lwonvwano.
12 When I was with them in the world, I preserved them by thy name: those whom thou hast given me have I guarded, and not one of them is perished, except the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Nanali nabho, nabhasonjele hwitawa lyompiye; Nawasonjele, na nomo mhati yabho watejile ila omwana otezu, amazu nkagatimile.
13 But now I am coming to thee; and I am speaking these things in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
Esalezi ehwenza huliwe; ila eyanga ega munsi aje olusongwo lwane lugoloshe muhati yabho bhebho.
14 I have given them thy word and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Embapiye izu lyaho; embavitilwe aje abhene sebha munsi, nanshishi ane shasendi wa munsi.
15 I entreat not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest preserve them from the wicked one.
Sembaputila aje obhefwe munsi ila obhasonje nola obhibhi.
16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Abhene sebhamunsi nanshi shila ane shasenali wa munsi.
17 Sanctify them by thy truth: thy word is truth.
Ubhabheshe bhagolosu huliwe wewe mu lyoli; izu lyahaho ye lyoli.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I sent them into the world.
Wantunile munsi, naane embafumile munsi.
19 And for them I devote myself, that they also might be sanctified by the truth.
Alengane nabhene ane neene ehwifumya huliwe aje wope nkabhahwifumyaje huliwe hwela elyoli.
20 And not for them do I make request only, but also for those who shall believe in me through their word;
Sio aje ebha bhene bhembaputila na bhala bhabha yeteshela ishilile izu lyaho
21 that all may be one; as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee, that these also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
aje bhope ebho bhabhe no lwonvwano nanshi shila awe Daada, sholi muhati yane nane muhati yaho. Embaputila aje abhene bhawezye abhe muhati yetu ili ensi nkeyeteshele aje awe wontumile.
22 And I have given them the glory, which thou hast given me; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Omwamihwe ula wompiye ane - nane embapiye abhehali, aje bhawezye abhe no lwonvwano nanshile ate shatili no lwonvwano -
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Ane muhati yabho wope muhati yane, aje nkabhawezye akamilisiwe huu, aje ensi nkemanye aje yooli awe wontumile, na abhagane, nanshi shila awe shongene, ane.
24 Father, those whom thou hast given me, I will that where I am they may also be with me; that they may behold my glory, which thou gavest me: because thou hast loved me before the foundation of the world.
Daada hala hompiye ane - Eziliha aje abhene wope bhawezye abhe pandwemo nane apantu pehwendi wawezye alole oummwamihwe wane, ula wompiye: afuatanaje awe ohangane ane shagelisele misingi gensi.
25 Righteous Father! though the world hath not known thee, yet I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Daada welyoli, ensi seyamenye awe, ila ane namenye awe; na bhamenye aje ohantumile.
26 And I have made known to them thy name, and will make it known: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Nabhashele aje itawa lyaho limanyishe hwa bhene, embalibheshe limanyishe aje olwonvwano olwo lwo hangene ane luwezye abhe muhati yabho, nane embezye abhe muhati yabho.”
