John 16
1 THESE things have I spoken, that ye might not be stumbled.
Embabhozya enongwa ezi aje mganje avisye.
2 They will put you out of their synagogues: yea, the hour is coming, that every one who killeth you will think he offers God a sacred service.
Bhaibhafumya mwonze mumabhanza; lyoli esala ehwenza shila waibhabuda aisebha aje abhomba mbombo enyinza hwa Ngolobhe.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
Bhaibhabhomba enongwa ezi alengane sebhamanye Odaada wala sebhamenye ane.
4 But these things have I spoken to you, that when the hour is come, ye may remember the same for I had told you. But these things I told you not at the beginning, because I was with you.
Embabhozezye enongwa ezi aje ensiku nkazyafiha zyafumile mwaiwezya agakomboshe na shila shanabhabhozezye muwezye bhene. Sembhabhozezye alengane ne nongwa ezi ahwande huwandilo alenganaje nali pandwemo namwe.
5 But now I am going away to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither art thou going?
Japo esalezi, embala hwola wantumile; ia nomo omo wenyu wambozezya, “Obhala hwii?”
6 But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
Alengane enjanjile enongwa ezi hulimwe, ozungumizu umemile muoyo genyu.
7 Yet I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I went not away, the Comforter would not come to you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Ata shesho, embabhozya elyoli: shinza hulemwe nkanasogola; afuatanaje wabhazinzya sagayenza hulimwe; ila nkanabhala naihutuma hulimwe.
8 And when he cometh, he will convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment:
Nkawenza oyo wabhazinzya aiyomezya ensi ahusiane ne mbibhi, ahusiane ne lyoli na ahusiane nolonzi.
9 of sin first, because they believe not in me;
Ahusiane ne mbibhi, alenganaje sebhaneteshe ane,
10 then of righteousness, because I am going to the Father, so ye see me no more;
ahusiane ne lyoli, afuatanaje embala hwa Daada na semwaindola nantele;
11 and of judgment, because the ruler of this world hath sentence pronounced on him.
ahusiane no lonzi alenganaje ogosi we nsi ene alongwilwe.
12 I have many things to say to you, but ye cannot bear them just now.
Endinago minji gabhabhozye, ila semubhagelewe esalezi.
13 But when he is come, the Spirit of truth, he will conduct you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever things he shall hear, he shall speak: and he will declare to you the things that shall come hereafter.
Ila, omwene, Ompepo welyoli, nkawenza aibhalongozya mulyoli yonti; afuatanaje sagaiyanga hu sababu yakwe yoyo; ila wawonti ganzagonvwe anzagayanje amambo ego; na aigabhonesya hulimwe amambo gagayenza.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Omwene aimwamiha ane, alenganaje aigayanga mambo gane na agatangazye hulimwe.
15 All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore I said, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Evintu vyonti vyalinavyo oDaada vyaline; eshi eshi, enjanjile aje Ompepo ayaga amambo gane na gabhonesye hulimwe.
16 A little while longer, and ye shall not see me: and again a little while, and ye shall see me, because I am going to the Father.
Bado ensiku ndodo, semwaindola nantele; baada ye muda ododo nantele, mwaindola.”
17 Then said some of the disciples unto each other, What is this which he saith to us, A little while longer, and ye shall not see me: and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and this, because I am going to the Father?
Bhamo awanafunzi bhakwe bhabhozanya, “Ye yenu yatibhozya, “omuda ododo, na semwaindola nantele,' no omuda ododo nantele,' mwaindola,' alengane embale hwa Daada?”
18 They said therefore, What is this which he saith, This little while? we know not what he means.
Eshi eshi bhayanga, “Hantu nshi hayanga, 'Bado omuda odod'? Setimenye zyayanga.”
19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Are ye questioning among yourselves concerning this declaration, which I spake, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again a little while, and ye shall see me?
O Yesu alolile aje wazilishe ahubhozezye, wope ayanga, “Muhubhozezya mubhene ahusu eli, shenjanjile, 'Bado omuda ododo, semwaindola nantele; baada ye muda ododo mwaindola'?
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be very sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
Etesheli, etesheli, embabhozya, mwalila na hwilombozye, ila ensi yayisongwa, mwazugumile, ila ensi enzugumila yenyu yaigaluha lusongwo.
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when the little son is born, she no more remembers the anguish, for joy that a man is brought into the world.
Oshe abhazugumizu lula lwa bhano uchungu alengane naje omuda gwa pape gufishile; ila nkawa papa omwana, sakomboha nantele ambabha, afuatanaje no lusongwo lwakwe aje omwana apepwe munsi.
22 And ye therefore have indeed at present sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall be made glad, and your joy no man taketh from you.
Amwe nantele muzugumiye esalezi, ila naibhalola nantele; na moyo genyu gaisongwa na nomo waiwezye abhefwezye olusongwo lwenyu.
23 And in that hour ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That whatsoever things ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give you.
Isiku elyo semwaimbozya enongwa. Etesheli, etesheli, Embabhozya nkamulabhe lyalyonti hwa Daada, aibhapela hwi tawa lyane.
24 Hitherto ye have asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be complete.
Paka semulabhile lyalyonti witawa lyane; labhaji mubhaposhele aje olusongwo lwenyu lukamilishe.
25 These things have I spoken to you in parables: but the hour is coming when I will no more speak to you in parables, but will plainly inform you respecting the Father.
Enyanjile namwe hunjango yasemanyiha, ila esala ehwenza senaiyanga hujango yasemanyiha baada yesho naibhabhoyza papa zelu ahusu Odaada.
26 In that day ye shall ask in my name: and I do not say to you, I will entreat the Father for you:
Isiku elyo mwailabha hwitawa lyane, sembabhozya aje nailabha hwa Daada husababu yenyu;
27 for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
Afuatanaje Odaada yoyo abhagene alenga mungene ane na afuatanaje muneteshe aje enfumile hwa Daada.
28 I came out from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I am leaving the world, and going to the Father.
Nafumile hwa Daada na enenzele munsii; nantele, esogola munsi na embala hwa Daada”.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo! now thou speakest plainly, and speakest in no-wise proverbial.
Abhanafunzi bhakwe bhabhozya, “Oloola, esalezi oyanga papazelu na sotumila amalibho.
30 Now we know that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any person should ask thee: by this we believe that thou hast come forth from God.
Esalezi, timenye aje amenye amambo gonti, na sohwanza omuntu wawonti abhozezye enongwa. Afutanaje tihweteshela aje ofuma hwa Ngolobhe.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
O Yesu ajile, “Esalezi eneteshe?”
32 Behold, the hour is coming, yea, it is already come, that ye shall be dispersed, each after his own concerns, and shall leave me alone: though I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
Enya, esala ehwenza, yoli nalyoli ifishile, mwainuha kila muntu amwabho mwaindeha nene. Ila sendi nemwene afuatanaje oDaada ahweli nane.
33 These things have I spoken to you, that ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good courage; I have overcome the world.
Embabhozya amambo ega aje muhati yane mubhe na songwe. Munsi muli amashida, ila hwipeli omwoyo, enjitolile ensi.
