1 John 1
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have beheld, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of the life;
Ami kezdettől fogva volt, amit hallottunk, a szemünkkel láttunk, amit szemléltünk, és kezünkkel érintettünk, az élet igéjéről.
2 and the life was made manifest, and we have seen, and we testify, and we proclaim to you the life which is eternal, which was with the Father, and has been made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
Az élet megjelent, és láttuk, és tanúbizonyságot teszünk róla és hirdetjük nektek az örök életet, amely az Atyánál volt és megjelent nekünk. (aiōnios g166)
3 that which we have seen and heard we also proclaim to you, in order that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is indeed with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
Amit hallottunk és láttunk, azt hirdetjük nektek, hogy közösségetek legyen velünk. A mi közösségünk pedig közösség az Atyával és az ő Fiával, Jézus Krisztussal.
4 And we write the same things to you, in order that our joy may be full.
Ezeket azért írjuk nektek, hogy örömötök teljes legyen.
5 And the same message which we have heard from him, we also proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness.
Ez pedig az üzenet, amelyet tőle hallottunk és hirdetünk nektek, hogy Isten világosság és nincs benne semmi sötétség.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
Ha azt mondjuk, hogy közösségünk van vele, és sötétségben járunk, hazudunk, és nem az igazságot cselekedjük.
7 but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Ha pedig a világosságban járunk, amint ő maga a világosságban van, közösségük van egymással és Jézus Krisztusnak, az ő Fiának vére megtisztít minket minden bűntől.
8 But if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Ha azt mondjuk, hogy nincs bűn bennünk, magunkat csaljuk meg és igazság nincsen bennünk.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous that he may forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ha megvalljuk bűneinket, hű és igaz: megbocsátja bűneinket és megtisztít minden gonoszságtól.
10 If we may say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Ha azt mondjuk, hogy nem vétkeztünk, hazuggá tesszük őt, és az ő igéje nincs bennünk.
