Psalms 85
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Lord, thou hast bene fauourable vnto thy land: thou hast brought againe the captiuitie of Iaakob.
За първия певец, псалом за Кореевите потомци. Господи, Ти си се показал благосклонен към земята Си, Върнал си Якова от плен.
2 Thou hast forgiuen the iniquitie of thy people, and couered all their sinnes. (Selah)
Простил си беззаконията на людете Си, Покрил си целия им грях. (Села)
3 Thou hast withdrawen all thine anger, and hast turned backe from the fiercenes of thy wrath.
Отмахнал си всичкото Си негодувание, Върнал си се от разпаления Си гняв.
4 Turne vs, O God of our saluation, and release thine anger toward vs.
Върни ни, Боже спасителю наш, И прекрати негодуванието Си против нас.
5 Wilt thou be angry with vs for euer? and wilt thou prolong thy wrath from one generation to another?
Винаги ли ще бъдеш разгневен на нас? Ще продължаваш ли да се гневиш из род в род?
6 Wilt thou not turne againe and quicken vs, that thy people may reioyce in thee?
Не ще ли пак да ни съживиш, За да се радват Твоите люде в Тебе?
7 Shew vs thy mercie, O Lord, and graunt vs thy saluation.
Господи, покажи ми милостта Си, И дай ни спасението Си.
8 I will hearken what the Lord God will say: for he will speake peace vnto his people, and to his Saintes, that they turne not againe to follie.
Ще слушам какво ще говори Господ Бог; Защото ще говори мир на людете Си и на светиите Си; Но нека се не връщат пак в безумие.
9 Surely his saluation is neere to them that feare him, that glory may dwell in our land.
Наистина Неговото спасение е близо при ония, които Му се боят, За да обитава слава в нашата земя.
10 Mercie and trueth shall meete: righteousnes and peace shall kisse one another.
Милост и вярност се срещнаха, Правда и мир се целунаха.
11 Trueth shall bud out of the earth, and righteousnes shall looke downe from heauen.
Вярност пониква от земята, И правда е надникнала от небето.
12 Yea, the Lord shall giue good things, and our land shall giue her increase.
Господ тоже ще даде това, което е добро; И земята ще ни даде плода си.
13 Righteousnesse shall go before him, and shall set her steps in the way.
Правдата ще върви пред Него, И ще направи стъпките Му път, в който да ходим,
