Psalms 128

1 A song of degrees. Blessed is euery one that feareth the Lord and walketh in his wayes.

Selig ein jeder, der Jehovah fürchtet, der in Seinen Wegen wandelt.

2 When thou eatest the labours of thine hands, thou shalt be blessed, and it shall be well with thee.

Denn du issest deiner Hände Arbeit. Selig bist du, und du hast es gut.

3 Thy wife shalbe as the fruitfull vine on the sides of thine house, and thy children like the oliue plantes round about thy table.

Dein Weib ist wie ein fruchtbarer Weinstock an den Seiten deines Hauses, deine Söhne sind wie Pflänzlinge des Ölbaumes rings um deinen Tisch.

4 Lo, surely thus shall the man be blessed, that feareth the Lord.

Siehe, so wird der Mann gesegnet, der Jehovah fürchtet.

5 The Lord out of Zion shall blesse thee, and thou shalt see the wealth of Ierusalem all the dayes of thy life.

Jehovah wird dich segnen aus Zion, und du sollst sehen das Wohl Jerusalems alle Tage deines Lebens.

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy childrens children, and peace vpon Israel.

Und wirst sehen Söhne von deinen Söhnen, Frieden über Israel.
