Psalms 108

1 A song or Psalme of David. O God, mine heart is prepared, so is my tongue: I will sing and giue praise.

۱ سرود و مزمور داود ای خدا دل من مستحکم است. من خواهم سرایید و ترنم خواهم نمودو جلال من نیز.

2 Awake viole and harpe: I will awake early.

۲ ‌ای عود و بربط بیدار شوید! من نیز در سحرگاه بیدار خواهم شد.

3 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people, and I wil sing vnto thee among the nations.

۳ ‌ای خداوند، تو را در میان قوم‌ها حمد خواهم گفت و در میان طایفه‌ها تو را خواهم سرایید.

4 For thy mercy is great aboue the heauens, and thy trueth vnto the clouds.

۴ زیرا که رحمت توعظیم است، فوق آسمانها! و راستی تو تا افلاک می‌رسد!

5 Exalt thy self, O God, aboue the heauens, and let thy glorie be vpon all the earth,

۵ ‌ای خدا، بر فوق آسمانها متعال باش وجلال تو بر تمامی زمین!

6 That thy beloued may be deliuered: helpe with thy right hand and heare me.

۶ تا محبوبان تو خلاصی یابند. به‌دست راست خود نجات ده و مرا اجابت فرما.

7 God hath spoken in his holinesse: therefore I will reioyce, I shall deuide Shechem and measure the valley of Succoth.

۷ خدا در قدوسیت خود سخن گفته است، پس وجد خواهم نمود. شکیم را تقسیم می‌کنم و وادی سکوت را خواهم پیمود.

8 Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iuda is my lawgiuer.

۸ جلعاد از آن من است و منسی از آن من. و افرایم خود سر من. ویهودا عصای سلطنت من.

9 Moab shalbe my washpot: ouer Edom wil I cast out my shoe: vpon Palestina wil I triumph.

۹ موآب ظرف شست وشوی من است، و بر ادوم نعلین خود را خواهم‌انداخت و بر فلسطین فخر خواهم نمود.

10 Who will leade mee into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?

۱۰ کیست که مرا به شهر حصین درآورد؟ کیست که مرا به ادوم رهبری نماید؟

11 Wilt not thou, O God, which haddest forsaken vs, and diddest not goe foorth, O God, with our armies?

۱۱ آیا نه تو‌ای خداکه ما را ترک کرده‌ای؟ و تو‌ای خدا که بالشکرهای ما بیرون نمی آیی؟

12 Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.

۱۲ ما را بر دشمن امداد فرما، زیرا که مدد انسان باطل است.

13 Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall treade downe our enemies.

۱۳ درخدا با شجاعت کار خواهیم کرد و او دشمنان مارا پایمال خواهد نمود.
