Psalms 102
1 A prayer of the afflicted, when he shall be in distresse, and pour forth his meditation before the Lord. O Lord, heare my prayer, and let my crye come vnto thee.
Oración de alguien que está sufriendo y está cansado, encomendando sus problemas al el Señor. Por favor, Señor, ¡escucha mi oración! ¡Escucha mi clamor a ti pidiendo ayuda!
2 Hide not thy face from me in the time of my trouble: incline thine eares vnto me: when I call, make haste to heare me.
¡No escondas tu rostro de mí en mis horas de angustia! Vuélvete y escúchame, y responde rápido cuando llamo.
3 For my dayes are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burnt like an herthe.
¡Porque mi vida está desapareciendo como el humo; siento como si mi cuerpo estuviera en llamas!
4 Mine heart is smitten and withereth like grasse, because I forgate to eate my bread.
¡Soy como la grama que se secó, y se marchitó, ya ni recuerdo cuándo debo comer!
5 For the voyce of my groning my bones doe cleaue to my skinne.
Mis gemidos me han revestido; mis huesos se dejan ver a través de mi piel.
6 I am like a pelicane of the wildernesse: I am like an owle of the deserts.
Soy como un búho del desierto, como una pequeña lechuza entre las ruinas.
7 I watch and am as a sparrowe alone vpon the house top.
No puedo conciliar el sueño. Soy como un pájaro solitario en la azotea.
8 Mine enemies reuile me dayly, and they that rage against me, haue sworne against me.
Mis enemigos se mofan de mí. Se burlan y maldicen en mi nombre.
9 Surely I haue eaten asshes as bread, and mingled my drinke with weeping,
Las cenizas son mi comida; mis lágrimas gotean encima de mi bebida,
10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast heaued me vp, and cast me downe.
Por tu hostilidad y tu enojo, me recogiste y me volviste arrojar bien lejos.
11 My dayes are like a shadowe that fadeth, and I am withered like grasse.
Mi vida se desvanece lentamente como sombras nocturnas, me estoy marchitando como la grama.
12 But thou, O Lord, doest remaine for euer, and thy remembrance from generation to generation.
Pero tú, Señor, reinarás para siempre, tu gloria perdurará por todas las generaciones.
13 Thou wilt arise and haue mercy vpon Zion: for the time to haue mercie thereon, for the appointed time is come.
Te levantarás y tendrás piedad de Jerusalén, porque es tiempo de que seas gentil con la ciudad, el tiempo ha llegado.
14 For thy seruants delite in the stones thereof, and haue pitie on the dust thereof.
Porque las personas que te siguen aman sus piedras; ¡valoran incluso su polvo!
15 Then the heathen shall feare the Name of the Lord, and all the Kings of the earth thy glory,
Entonces las naciones te temerán, Señor; todos los reyes de la tierra se postrarán ante tu presencia.
16 When the Lord shall build vp Zion, and shall appeare in his glory,
Porque el Señor reconstruirá Jerusalén; y aparecerá con gloria.
17 And shall turne vnto the prayer of the desolate, and not despise their prayer.
Atenderá las oraciones de los desamparados; no ignorará sus pedidos.
18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people, which shalbe created, shall prayse the Lord.
Que esto sea recordado por las generaciones futuras, para que las personas que aún no han nacido alaben al Señor:
19 For he hath looked downe from the height of his Sanctuarie: out of the heauen did the Lord beholde the earth,
Porque él mira desde los cielos, desde lo más alto de su lugar santo; él observa a la tierra desde su trono,
20 That he might heare the mourning of the prisoner, and deliuer the children of death:
para responder a los lamentos de los prisioneros, para liberar a los hijos de la muerte.
21 That they may declare the Name of the Lord in Zion, and his prayse in Ierusalem,
Y como resultadoj la maravillosa naturaleza del Señor será alabada en Jerusalén con alabanzas,
22 When the people shalbe gathered together, and the kingdomes to serue the Lord.
cuando las personas de todos los reinos se reúnan para adorar al Señor.
23 He abated my strength in the way, and shortened my dayes.
Pero, en cuanto a mí, él me quitó la salud cuando era joven, acortando mi vida.
24 And I sayd, O my God, take me not away in the middes of my dayes: thy yeeres endure from generation to generation.
Clamé al Señor, “Mi Dios, ¡No me arrebates mi vida mientras aún soy joven! Tú eres el único que vive para siempre.
25 Thou hast aforetime layde the foundation of the earth, and the heauens are the worke of thine hands.
Hace mucho tiempo creaste la tierra; hiciste los cielos.
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: euen they all shall waxe olde as doeth a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.
Y ellos llegarán a su fin, pero tú no. Todos ellos se desgastarán como la ropa, y tú los cambiarás y los tirarás.
27 But thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not fayle.
Pero tú eres el único que vive para siempre; tus años nunca llegarán a un fin.
28 The children of thy seruants shall continue, and their seede shall stand fast in thy sight.
Nuestros hijos vivirán contigo, y los hijos de nuestros hijos crecerán en tu presencia”.
