< Psalms 94 >
1 The Lord is a God of vengeance! God of vengeance, shine out!
Tawnlohnah Pathen BOEIPA aw, tawnlohnah Pathen nang ha sae lah.
2 Stand up, judge of the earth, and pay back those who are proud what they deserve.
Diklai laitloek nang thoo lamtah thinthah rhoek ke a tiing la thuung lah.
3 How long, Lord? How long will the wicked celebrate in triumph?
Me hil nim a halang uh ve? BOEIPA aw halang rhoek loh me hil nim a sundaep uh ve?
4 How long will you let them pour out their arrogant words? How long will these evil people go on boasting?
Boethae aka saii boeih loh a cal uh vaengah mangkhak la hoem ol a thaa uh.
5 Lord, they crush your people; they oppress those you call your own.
BOEIPA namah kah pilnam te a phop uh tih na rho khaw a phaep uh.
6 They kill widows and foreigners; they murder orphans.
Nuhmai neh yinlai te a ngawn uh tih cadah rhoek te a sah uh.
7 They say, “The Lord can't see what we're doing. Israel's God doesn't pay any attention to us.”
Tedae, “BOEIPA loh hmuh pawt tih Jakob Pathen loh a yakming moenih,” a ti uh.
8 Take another look, you stupid people! Fools—when will you ever get the point?
Pilnam khuikah ngukngak rhoek loh yakming uh laeh. Aka ang rhoek loh n'cangbam venim?
9 Do you think the creator of the ear can't hear? Do you think the maker of the eye can't see?
Hna aka buen loh ya pawt vetih mik aka hlinsai loh paelki mapawt nim?
10 Do you think that the one who punishes nations won't punish you too? Do you think that the one who teaches human beings knowledge doesn't know anything?
Namtom rhoek aka toel tih mingnah neh hlang aka cang puei loh tluung het mahpawt nim?
11 The Lord knows the thoughts of human beings—he knows they are pointless.
Hlang kah a kopoek he a honghi ni tila BOEIPA loh a ming.
12 Those you discipline are happy, Lord; those you teach from your Law.
BOEIPA loh na toel tih na olkhueng neh na tuk na kil hlang tah a yoethen tih,
13 You give them peace in days of trouble, until a pit is dug to trap the wicked.
halang ham vaam a vueh pah vaengah pataeng yoethae tue khui lamkah anih te na mong sak.
14 For the Lord will not give up on his people; he will not abandon his own.
BOEIPA loh a pilnam te phap sut pawt tih a rho khaw hnoo mahpawh.
15 Justice will once again be based on what is right; those who are sincere will support it.
Duengnah dongah laitloeknah a khoep vetih lungbuei aka thuem boeih tah a hnukah bang uh ni.
16 Who came to my defense against the wicked; who stood up for me against those who do evil?
Thaehuet rhoek te kai taengah u long lae a tlai thil eh? Boethae aka saii te kai taengah ulonglae a pai thil eh?
17 If the Lord hadn't helped me, I would have soon gone down into the silence of the grave.
BOEIPA kah bomnah kai taengah om pawt koinih ka hinglu he mikpalap ah tuihoeng la om sut ni.
18 I shouted out, “My foot's slipping!” and your trustworthy love, Lord, kept me from falling.
“Ka kho paloe coeng he,” ka ti vaengah BOEIPA nang kah sitlohnah loh kai n'duel.
19 When my mind was full of worries, you comforted me and encouraged me.
Ka ko khuiah ka mangvawtnah loh ka kum vaengah namah kah hloephloeinah loh ka hinglu a naepnoi sak.
20 Can unjust judges really be on your side, Lord, when their corrupt use of the law causes misery?
thakthaenah te oltlueh neh aka yen talnah ngolkhoel te nang neh na patai uh rhoi thai aya?
21 They work together to destroy good people; they condemn those who are innocent to death.
Aka dueng kah hinglu te a hlap uh tih ommongsitoe thii te a taeng uh.
22 But the Lord protects me like a fortress; my God is the rock that keeps me safe.
Tedae BOEIPA tah kai ham imsang la, ka Pathen tah ka hlipyingnah lungpang la om.
23 He will turn the wickedness of evil people back upon them; he will destroy them because of their sins; the Lord our God will destroy them.
Te dongah amih kah boethae te amamih taengah mael vetih amamih kah boethae dongah amamih te a biit ni. Mamih kah BOEIPA Pathen loh amih te a biit ni.
