< Job 40 >

1 God continued speaking to Job.
Yawe ayanolaki Yobo:
2 “Are you still going to fight with the Almighty and try to set him straight? Anyone who argues with God must give some answers.”
« Boni, moto oyo atiaka tembe na Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso akoki koteya Ye? Tika ete oyo azali koswanisa Nzambe ayanola Ye! »
3 Job answered the Lord,
Yobo azongiselaki Yawe:
4 “Me—I am nothing at all. I have no answers. I put my hand in front of my mouth.
« Tala ngai, nazali se ekelamu ya pamba, eyano nini nakoki kopesa Yo? Natie loboko na ngai na monoko.
5 I have already said far too much and I won't say anything more.”
Nalobaki mbala moko, kasi nakoyanola lisusu te; na mbala ya mibale, nakobakisa lisusu eloko te. »
6 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind,
Yawe alobaki na Yobo wuta na mopepe makasi:
7 “Prepare yourself, be strong, for I am going to question you, and you must answer me.
« Kanga mokaba na loketo na yo lokola elombe mobali; nakotuna yo mituna, mpe okoyanola ngai.
8 Are you really going to say my decisions are wrong? Are you going to condemn me so you can be right?
Olingi kotiola bosembo na ngai? Okani kokweyisa ngai mpo ete yo moko omilongisa?
9 Are you as powerful as I am? Does your voice thunder like mine?
Ozali na loboko lokola oyo ya Nzambe? Mongongo na yo ekoki konguluma makasi lokola oyo ya Ye?
10 Why don't you dress yourself with majesty and dignity, and clothe yourself with glory and splendor!
Lata nkembo mpe kongenga, milatisa lokumu mpe monene!
11 Let loose your fierce anger. Humble the proud with a glance.
Sopa nguya ya kanda na yo likolo ya bato, tala bato nyonso ya lolendo liboso na yo mpe kitisa bango!
12 Bring down the proud with your gaze; tread the wicked underfoot right where they are.
Tala bato nyonso ya lolendo, yokisa bango soni! Nyata-nyata bato mabe na esika oyo bazali.
13 Bury them in the dust; lock them away in the grave.
Kunda bango nyonso kati na putulu, zipa bilongi na bango na esika ya kobombama.
14 Then I will also agree that your own strength can save you.
Boye, ngai moko nakopesa yo lokumu, pamba te loboko na yo ya mobali ekoki mpo na kobikisa yo.
15 Consider Behemoth, a creature I made just like I made you. It eats grass like cattle.
Tala ngubu: nakelaki yango ndenge nakelaki yo, kasi eliaka kaka matiti lokola ngombe.
16 Look at its powerful loins, the muscles of its belly.
Tala makasi oyo ezali kati na loketo na yango, nguya oyo ezali kati na misuni ya libumu na yango!
17 It bends its tail like a cedar; its thigh sinews are strong.
Ekembisaka mokila na yango lokola nzete ya sedele; misisa ya mipende na yango elingama-lingama;
18 Its bones are like bronze tubes; its limbs like iron rods.
mikuwa na yango ezali lokola bibende ya bronze; mipanzi na yango ezali lokola biteni ya bibende.
19 It is the most important example of what God can do; only the one who made it can approach it with a sword.
Ezali ekelamu ya liboso ya Nzambe, kasi Mokeli na yango atieli yango mopanga pene.
20 The hills produce food for it, and all the wild animals play there.
Ngomba ezali kopesa yango matiti ya kolia, esika oyo banyama nyonso ya zamba esakanaka.
21 It lies under the lotus; it hides in the reeds of the marsh.
Elalaka na se ya banzete ya mike-mike, na se ya matiti oyo ezalaka pembeni ya mayi mpe na potopoto.
22 The lotus covers it with shade; the willow trees of the valley surround it.
Banzete ya mike-mike ebombaka yango na se ya elili na yango, banzete ya pepiliye ezingeli yango.
23 Even if the river is in flood, it is not concerned; it remains calm when the Jordan river surges against it.
Soki mayi ya ebale etomboki, yango ebangaka te; ata mayi ya Yordani esopaneli yango na monoko, evandaka kaka kimia.
24 No one can catch it while it is watching, or pierce its nose with a noose.
Boni, moto akoki kokanga yango na motambo na tango ezali kotala to kotobola yango zolo na ndobo, mpo na kobenda yango?
