Psalms 99

1 A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.

TUHAN adalah Raja; bangsa-bangsa gemetar. Ia bertakhta di atas kerub, bumi berguncang.

2 The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.

TUHAN sangat berkuasa di Sion; Ia agung mengatasi segala bangsa.

3 Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:

Biarlah mereka memuji nama-Nya yang luhur mulia. Kuduslah Ia!

4 And the king’s honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.

Kekuasaan bagi-Mu, Raja yang mencintai hukum; Engkau telah menegakkan kebenaran; Engkau menjalankan hukum dan keadilan di Israel.

5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.

Luhurkanlah TUHAN Allah kita, sujudlah di depan takhta-Nya. Kuduslah Ia!

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:

Musa dan Harun termasuk imam-imam-Nya, Samuel salah seorang yang berdoa kepada-Nya. Mereka berseru kepada TUHAN, dan Ia memberi jawaban.

7 He spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.

Dari tiang awan Ia berbicara kepada mereka, mereka taat kepada semua hukum dan perintah-Nya.

8 Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.

Ya TUHAN Allah kami, Engkau menjawab umat-Mu; bagi mereka Engkau Allah yang suka mengampuni, walaupun mereka Kauhukum karena kesalahan mereka.

9 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy.

Luhurkanlah TUHAN Allah kita, dan sembahlah Dia di bukit-Nya yang suci, sebab kuduslah TUHAN Allah kita.
