Numbers 31
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
၁ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မောရှေအား၊-
2 Revenge first the children of Israel on the Madianites, and so thou shalt be gathered to thy people.
၂``ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အတွက်မိဒျန် အမျိုးသားတို့အားလက်စားချေလော့။ ထို တာဝန်ကိုဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးနောက် သင်သည် အနိစ္စရောက်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
3 And Moses forthwith said: Arm of you men to fight, who may take the revenge of the Lord on the Madianites.
၃ထို့ကြောင့်မောရှေသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့အား``မိဒျန်အမျိုးသားတို့သည်ထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုပြစ်မှားကြသောကြောင့် သူတို့ကို တိုက်ခိုက်ချေမှုန်းရန်အသင့်ပြင်ကြလော့။-
4 Let a thousand men be chosen out of every tribe of Israel to be sent to the war.
၄စစ်ချီတက်တိုက်ခိုက်ရန်ဣသရေလအနွယ် များမှ တစ်နွယ်လျှင်လူတစ်ထောင်ကျစေ လွှတ်လော့'' ဟုဆို၏။
5 And they gave a thousand of every tribe, that is to say, twelve thousand men well appointed for battle.
၅သို့ဖြစ်၍စစ်ချီရန်ဣသရေလအနွယ်များ မှလူတစ်ထောင်ကျစီဖြင့် လူပေါင်းတစ်သောင်း နှစ်ထောင်ကိုရွေးချယ်ကြလေသည်။-
6 And Moses sent them with Phinees the son of Eleazar the priest, and he delivered to him the holy vessels, and the trumpets to sound.
၆ထိုနောက်မောရှေသည်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလာ ဇာ၏သား ဖိနဟတ်အားဣသရေလတပ်ကို အုပ်ချုပ်ကွပ်ကဲစေ၏။ သူနှင့်အတူတဲတော် နှင့်ဆိုင်သောအသုံးအဆောင်ပစ္စည်းများနှင့် အချက်ပေးတံပိုးခရာများကိုယူဆောင် သွား၏။-
7 And when they had fought against the Madianites and had overcome them, they slew all the men.
၇ထာဝရဘုရားကမောရှေအားအမိန့်ပေး တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း သူတို့သည်မိဒျန်အမျိုး သားတို့ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်ရာ၊-
8 And their kings Evi, and Recem, and Sur, and Hur, and Rebe, five princes of the nation: Balaam also the son of Beer they killed with the sword.
၈မိဒျန်ဘုရင်ငါးပါးဖြစ်ကြသောဧဝိ၊ ရေ ကင်၊ ဇုရ၊ ဟုရနှင့်ရေဘတို့အပါအဝင် ယောကျာ်းအားလုံးကို သတ်ဖြတ်သုတ်သင်ခဲ့ ကြလေသည်။ ဗောရ၏သားဗာလမ်ကို လည်းသတ်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
9 And they took their women, and their children captives, and all their cattle, and all their goods: and all their possessions they plundered:
၉ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် မိဒျန် အမျိုးသမီးနှင့် ကလေးများကိုသုံ့ပန်း အဖြစ်ဖမ်းဆီး၍သူတို့၏သိုး၊ နွား တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့နှင့်တကွပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာရှိသမျှ ကိုသိမ်းယူလေ၏။-
10 And all their cities, and their villages, and castles, they burned.
၁၀သူတို့၏မြို့နှင့်စခန်းရှိသမျှတို့ကို လည်းမီးရှို့ဖျက်ဆီးပစ်ကြ၏။-
11 And they carried away the booty, and all that they had taken both of men and of beasts.
၁၁သူတို့သည်သိမ်းယူရရှိသမျှသောဥစ္စာ ပစ္စည်း၊ သုံ့ပန်းနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို၊-
12 And they brought them to Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and to all the multitude of the children of Israel. But the rest of the things for use they carried to the camp on the plains of Moab, beside the Jordan over against Jericho.
၁၂ယေရိခေါမြို့တစ်ဖက်ယော်ဒန်မြစ်နားရှိ မောဘလွင်ပြင်တွင် စခန်းချလျက်ရှိသော မောရှေ၊ ဧလာဇာနှင့်ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့ထံယူဆောင်ခဲ့ကြလေသည်။
13 And Moses and Eleazar the priest and all the princes of the synagogue went forth to meet them without the camp.
၁၃မောရှေ၊ ဧလာဇာနှင့်ဣသရေလခေါင်း ဆောင်အပေါင်းတို့သည် စခန်းအပြင်သို့ ထွက်၍တပ်သားများကိုဆီးကြိုကြ၏။-
14 And Moses being angry with the chief officers of the army, the tribunes, and the centurions that were come from the battle,
၁၄သို့ရာတွင်မောရှေသည်တိုက်ပွဲပြန်တပ် ရင်းမှူး၊ တပ်ခွဲမှူးစသောအရာရှိတို့ ကိုအမျက်ထွက်၍၊-
15 Said: Why have you saved the women?
၁၅``သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်အမျိုးသမီး အားလုံးကို အသက်ချမ်းသာစေကြသနည်း။-
16 Are not these they, that deceived the children of Israel by the counsel of Balaam, and made you transgress against the Lord by the sin of Phogor, for which also the people was punished?
၁၆ဤအမျိုးသမီးများသည်ဗာလမ်၏အကြံ ပေးချက်အရပေဂုရအရပ်တွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့အား ထာဝရဘုရားကိုသစ္စာ ဖောက်စေခဲ့ကြောင်းသတိရကြလော့။ ထို အပြစ်ကြောင့်ထာဝရဘုရား၏လူစု တွင်ကပ်ရောဂါကျရောက်ခဲ့၏။-
17 Therefore kill all that are of the male sex, even of the children: and put to death the women, that have carnally known men.
၁၇သို့ဖြစ်၍ယောကျာ်းကလေးများနှင့် ယောကျာ်း နှင့်ဆက်ဆံဖူးသောမိန်းမရှိသမျှတို့ ကိုသတ်လော့။-
18 But the girls, and all the women that are virgins save for yourselves:
၁၈မိန်းကလေးများနှင့်အပျိုကညာများကို သင်တို့အသက်ချမ်းသာပေးကြလော့။-
19 And stay without the camp seven days. He that hath killed a man, or touched one that is killed, shall be purified the third day and the seventh day.
၁၉သင်တို့တွင်လူအသက်ကိုသတ်ခဲ့သူနှင့် လူသေကောင်ကို ကိုင်တွယ်မိခဲ့သူအပေါင်း တို့သည်စခန်းအပြင်ဘက်တွင်ခုနစ်ရက် နေထိုင်ရကြမည်။ တတိယနေ့နှင့်သတ္တမ နေ့ရက်များ၌ သင်တို့နှင့်သင်တို့ဖမ်းဆီး ခဲ့သောအမျိုးသမီးများအတွက် သန့်စင်ခြင်းဝတ်ကိုပြုရမည်။-
20 And of all the spoil, every garment, or vessel, or any thing made for use, of the skins, or hair of goats, or of wood, shall be purified.
၂၀သင်တို့၏အဝတ်အင်္ကျီများနှင့်သားရေ၊ ဆိတ်မွေးသို့မဟုတ်သစ်သားဖြင့်ပြုလုပ် သောပစ္စည်းရှိသမျှတို့ကိုလည်းသန့်စင် စေရမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။
21 Eleazar also the priest spoke to the men of the army, that had fought, in this manner: This is the ordinance of the law, which the Lord hath commanded Moses:
၂၁ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလာဇာကလည်းတိုက်ပွဲပြန် စစ်သည်တို့အား``ထာဝရဘုရားကမောရှေ အားမိန့်ကြားတော်မူသောပညတ်များမှာ၊-
22 Gold, and silver, and brass, and iron, and lend, and tin,
၂၂ရွှေ၊ ငွေ၊ ကြေးဝါ၊ သံ၊ သံဖြူ၊ ခဲအစရှိသည့်မီး မလောင်ကျွမ်းနိုင်သောသတ္တုပစ္စည်းရှိသမျှ အားမီးကိုဖြတ်သန်းစေခြင်းဖြင့်သန့်စင်စေ ရမည်။ အခြားသံဝတ္ထုပစ္စည်းများကိုသန့်စင် ခြင်းဝတ်ပြုရာရေဖြင့်သန့်စင်စေရမည်။-
23 And all that may pass through the fire, shall be purified by fire, but whatsoever cannot abide the fire, shall be sanctified with the water of expiation:
၂၃
24 And you shall wash your garments the seventh day, and being purified, you shall afterwards enter into the camp.
၂၄သတ္တမနေ့တွင်သင်တို့၏အဝတ်အင်္ကျီ များကိုဖွပ်လျှော်ရမည်။ ထိုနောက်သင်တို့ သည်သန့်စင်ပြီဖြစ်သဖြင့် စခန်းအတွင်း သို့ပြန်လည်ဝင်ရောက်နိုင်သည်ဟူ၍ဖြစ် သည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။
25 And the Lord said to Moses:
၂၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မောရှေအား၊
26 Take the sum of the things that were taken both of man and beast, thou and Eleazar the priest and the princes of the multitude:
၂၆``သင်နှင့်ဧလာဇာတို့သည်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအကြီးအကဲတို့နှင့်အတူ သုံ့ပန်းနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန်များအပါအဝင် လက်ရသိမ်းဆည်းခဲ့သောပစ္စည်းရှိသမျှ ကိုရေတွက်ရမည်။-
27 And thou shalt divide the spoil equally, between them that fought and went out to the war, and between the rest of the multitude.
၂၇ထိုပစ္စည်းများကိုထက်ဝက်စီအညီအမျှ ခွဲပြီးလျှင် တစ်ဝက်ကိုစစ်သည်တို့အားပေး ၍ တစ်ဝက်ကိုကျန်သောဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့အားပေးရမည်။-
28 And thou shalt separate a portion to the Lord from them that fought and were in the battle, one soul of five hundred as well of persons as of oxen and asses and sheep.
၂၈စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစုထဲမှသုံ့ပန်းငါးရာ လျှင် တစ်ယောက်ကျဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ သိုး၊ နွား၊ မြည်း၊ ဆိတ်တို့ကိုလည်းထိုအချိုးကျဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန် အဖြစ်သီးသန့်ထားရမည်။-
29 And thou shalt give it to Eleazar the priest, because they are the firstfruits of the Lord.
၂၉ထာဝရဘုရားအားဆက်သရန်အထူးလှူဖွယ် အဖြစ် ထိုဝေစုကိုယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလာဇာ အားပေးအပ်ရမည်။-
30 Out of the moiety also of the children of Israel thou shalt take the fiftieth head of persons, and of oxen, and asses, and sheep, and of all beasts, and thou shalt give them to the Levites that watch in the charge of the tabernacle of the Lord.
၃၀ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အတွက်ဝေစုထဲ မှ သုံ့ပန်းငါးဆယ်လျှင်တစ်ယောက်ကျဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း၊ သိုး၊ နွား၊ မြည်း၊ ဆိတ်တို့ကိုလည်း ထိုအချိုးကျဖြင့်လည်းကောင်းနုတ်ယူ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား၏တဲတော်ကိုတာဝန်ယူ စောင့်ထိန်းရသောလေဝိအမျိုးသားတို့ အားပေးအပ်ရမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
31 And Moses and Eleazar did as the Lord had commanded.
၃၁မောရှေနှင့်ဧလာဇာတို့သည် ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်းဆောင်ရွက် ကြလေသည်။
32 And the spoil which the army had taken, was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,
၃၂စစ်သည်တို့ကိုယ်ပိုင်အတွက်သိမ်းထားသော ပစ္စည်းများအပြင် လက်ရသိမ်းဆည်းခဲ့သော တိရစ္ဆာန်နှင့်လူအရေအတွက်စာရင်းမှာ သိုး နှင့်ဆိတ်ကောင်ရေခြောက်သိန်းခုနစ်သောင်း ငါးထောင်၊ နွားကောင်ရေခုနစ်သောင်းနှစ်ထောင်၊ မြည်းကောင်ရေခြောက်သောင်းတစ်ထောင်နှင့် အပျိုကညာဦးရေသုံးသောင်းနှစ်ထောင် ယောက်ဖြစ်သည်။-
33 Seventy-two thousand oxen,
၃၃
34 Sixty-one thousand asses:
၃၄
35 And thirty-two thousand persons of the female sex, that had not known men.
၃၅
36 And one half was given to them that had been in the battle, to wit, three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep:
၃၆စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ထက်ဝက်ဝေစုမှာ သိုး နှင့်ဆိတ်ကောင်ရေပေါင်းသုံးသိန်းသုံးသောင်း ခုနစ်ထောင့်ငါးရာဖြစ်၍ ၎င်းတို့အနက် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန်အဖြစ်ဆက် သရန်ကောင်ရေမှာ ခြောက်ရာ့ခုနစ်ဆယ့်ငါး ဖြစ်သည်။ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစုနွားကောင် ရေသုံးသောင်းခြောက်ထောင်ဖြစ်၍ ၎င်းတို့အနက် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန်အဖြစ်ဆက် သရန် ကောင်ရေမှာခုနစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်ကောင်ဖြစ် သည်။ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစုမှာမြည်း ကောင်ရေသုံးသောင်းငါးရာဖြစ်၍၎င်းတို့ အနက် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန် အဖြစ်ဆက်သရန်ကောင်ရေမှာခြောက်ဆယ့် တစ်ဖြစ်သည်။ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစု မှာအပျိုကညာတစ်သောင်းခြောက်ထောင် ယောက်ဖြစ်၍ ၎င်းတို့အနက်ထာဝရဘုရား အတွက်အခွန်အဖြစ်ဆက်သရန်အတွက် မှာသုံးဆယ့်နှစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်သည်။-
37 Out of which, for the portion of the Lord, were reckoned six hundred seventy-five sheep.
၃၇
38 And out of the thirty-six thousand oxen, seventy-two oxen:
၃၈
39 Out of the thirty thousand five hundred asses, sixty-one asses:
၃၉
40 Out of the sixteen thousand persons, there fell to the portion of the Lord, thirty-two souls.
၄၀
41 And Moses delivered the number of the firstfruits of the Lord to Eleazar the priest, as had been commanded him,
၄၁သို့ဖြစ်၍ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း မောရှေသည်ထာဝရဘုရားအား ဆက်သရန် အထူးလှူဖွယ်အဖြစ်ဝေစုကို ဧလာဇာအားပေးအပ်လေသည်။
42 Out of the half of the children of Israel, which he had separated for them that had been in the battle.
၄၂ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အတွက်ဝေစု သည်လည်း စစ်သည်တို့အတွက် ဝေစုအတိုင်း သိုးနှင့်ဆိတ်ကောင်ရေသုံးသိန်းသုံးသောင်း ခုနစ်ထောင့်ငါးရာ၊ နွားကောင်ရေသုံးသောင်း ခြောက်ထောင်၊ မြည်းကောင်ရေသုံးသောင်းငါး ရာနှင့်အပျိုကညာဦးရေတစ်သောင်းခြောက် ထောင်ယောက်ဖြစ်သည်။-
43 But out of the half that fell to the rest of the multitude, that is to say, out of the three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,

44 And out of the thirty-six thousand oxen,
၄၄
45 And out of the thirty thousand five hundred asses,
၄၅
46 And out of the sixteen thousand persons,
၄၆
47 Moses took the fiftieth head, and gave it to the Levites that watched in the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord had commanded.
၄၇မောရှေသည်ထိုဝေစုထဲမှသုံ့ပန်းနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန် တို့ကို ငါးဆယ်ချိုးတစ်ချိုးကျနုတ်ယူ၍ ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်မှာတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း တဲတော်ကို တာဝန်ယူစောင့်ထိန်းရသောလေဝိအမျိုးသား တို့အားပေးအပ်လေသည်။
48 And when the commanders of the army, and the tribunes and centurions were come to Moses, they said:
၄၈ထိုနောက်တပ်မှူးတို့သည် မောရှေထံသို့လာ ရောက်၍``အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏လက်အောက်ရှိစစ်သည် များကိုရေတွက်ရာ တစ်ယောက်မျှပျောက်ဆုံး ခြင်းမရှိကြောင်းတွေ့ရပါသည်။-
49 We thy servants have reckoned up the number of the fighting men, whom we had under our hand, and not so much as one was wanting.
၄၉
50 Therefore we offer as gifts to the Lord what gold every one of us could find in the booty, in garters and tablets, rings and bracelets, and chains, that thou mayst pray to the Lord for us.
၅၀သို့ဖြစ်၍အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အသီးသီးသိမ်းယူ ရရှိသောရွှေတန်ဆာ၊ လက်ကောက်၊ ဘယက်၊ လက်စွပ်၊ နားဆွဲနှင့်လည်ဆွဲတို့ကိုကိုယ်တော် ထံသို့ယူဆောင်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏အသက်ကိုချမ်း သာပေးသောကြောင့် ထိုလက်ဝတ်တန်ဆာများ ကိုဆက်သပါသည်'' ဟုအစီရင်ခံကြ၏။-
51 And Moses and Eleazar the priest received all the gold in divers kinds,
၅၁မောရှေနှင့်ဧလာဇာတို့သည်ရွှေလက်ဝတ် တန်ဆာများကိုလက်ခံလေသည်။-
52 In weight sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty sicles, from the tribunes and from the centurions.
၅၂တပ်မှူးများဆက်သသောလက်ဝတ်တန် ဆာအလေးချိန်မှာပေါင်လေးရာကျော် ရှိသည်။-
53 For that which every one had taken in the booty was his own.
၅၃ရိုးရိုးတပ်သားတို့သည်မိမိတို့ရရှိသော ပစ္စည်းများကို ကိုယ်ပိုင်အတွက်သိမ်းဆည်း ထားကြ၏။-
54 And that which was received they brought into the tabernacle of the testimony, for a memorial of the children of Israel before the Lord.
၅၄ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့ကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူအံ့ သောငှာ မောရှေနှင့်ဧလာဇာတို့သည်ရွှေများ ကိုတဲတော်သို့ယူဆောင်သွားကြလေသည်။
