< Psalms 90 >

1 A Prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place in all generations.
[Pre lal Moses, Mwet lun God] O Leum, kom nuna nien muta lasr.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, and thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from eternity to eternity thou art God.
Meet liki kom oru tuh inging uh in sikyak, Ku oakiya faclu, Kom nuna God oemeet me, Oayapa nu tok ma pahtpat.
3 Thou makest [mortal] man to return to dust, and sayest, Return, children of men.
Kom sap mwet uh in folokla nu ke fohk, Kom ekululosla nu ke kutkut, ma elos orekla kac.
4 For a thousand years, in thy sight, are as yesterday when it is past, and [as] a watch in the night.
Sie tausin yac oana len se nu sum; Oana ekea, su somla tari, Oana sie ao fototo ke fong.
5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are [as] a sleep: in the morning they are like grass [that] groweth up:
Oana sie sronot, kom pahtkakinkutla; Moul lasr tia loes liki sie mweme. Kut oana mah ma srunak ke lotutang
6 In the morning it flourisheth and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down and withereth.
Ac kapak ac farngelik, Na paola ac misa ke ekela.
7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy fury are we troubled.
Kut kunausyukla ke mulat lom, Kut fosrngala ke kasrkusrak lom.
8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret [sins] in the light of thy countenance.
Kom filiya ma koluk lasr ye motom, Ac ma koluk lukma lasr yen kom ku in liye.
9 For all our days pass away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a [passing] thought.
Moul lasr akfototoyeyuk ke kasrkusrak lom, Ac wanginla oana sie osfek.
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if, by reason of strength, they be fourscore years, yet their pride is labour and vanity, for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Lusen moul lasr yac itngoul na — Ac kut fin ku na, ac sun yac oalngoul, Tuh wanginna ma kut liye kac sayen mwe lokoalok ac asor. Moul lasr uh sa na safla, ac kut wanginla.
11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? and thy wrath according to the fear of thee?
Su nu pula kuiyen sulung lom? Su etu lupan sangeng ma ac tuku ke kasrkusrak lom?
12 So teach [us] to number our days, that we may acquire a wise heart.
Luti nu sesr in etu fototoiyen moul lasr Tu kut fah ku in lalmwetmet.
13 Return, Jehovah: how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
Kom ac mulat nwe ngac? O LEUM GOD, pakomuta mwet kulansap lom!
14 Satisfy us early with thy loving-kindness; that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Nwekkutla ke lungse kawil lom ke kais sie lotutang, Tuh kut fah ku in on ac insewowo in moul lasr nufon.
15 Make us glad according to the days [wherein] thou hast afflicted us, according to the years [wherein] we have seen evil.
Akenganye kut inge, in oana lupan asor su kom tuh ase nu sesr In yac puspis su kom tuh akkeokye kut kac.
16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy majesty unto their sons.
Lela kut, mwet kulansap lom, in liye orekma ku lom; Lela fwil natusr tok in liye ku wolana lom.
17 And let the beauty of Jehovah our God be upon us; and establish thou the work of our hands upon us: yea, the work of our hands, establish thou it.
O LEUM GOD lasr, lela mwe insewowo lom in wi kut. Ase nu sesr wo ouiya in ma nukewa kut oru!
