Psalms 67

1 For the end, a Psalm of David amongst the Hymns. God be merciful to us, and bless us; [and] cause his face to shine upon us. (Pause)

Dem Musikmeister, mit Saitenspiel. Ein Psalm. Ein Lied. Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns; er lasse sein Antlitz bei uns leuchten, (Sela)

2 That [men] may know your way on the earth, your salvation amongst all nations.

daß man auf Erden deinen Weg erkenne, unter allen Völkern dein Heil.

3 Let the nations, O God, give thanks to you; let all the nations give thanks to you.

Es müssen dich preisen, o Gott, die Völker; es müssen dich preisen die Völker alle.

4 Let the nations rejoice and exult, for you shall judge the peoples in equity, and shall guide the nations on the earth. (Pause)

Es müssen sich freuen und jauchzen die Nationen, daß du die Völker recht regierst und die Nationen auf Erden leitest. (Sela)

5 Let the peoples, O God, give thanks to you; let all the peoples give thanks to you.

Es müssen dich preisen, o Gott, die Völker; es müssen dich preisen die Völker alle.

6 The earth has yielded her fruit; let God, our God bless us.

Das Land hat seinen Ertrag gegeben; es segne uns Gott, unser Gott.

7 Let God bless us; and let all the ends of the earth fear him.

Es segne uns Gott, und alle Enden der Erde sollen ihn fürchten!
