< Psalms 43 >
1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause, against an ungodly nation: deliver me from the unjust and crafty man.
Aw Pathen kai n'tang sak lamtah hlangcim pawh namtu neh tuituknah te oelh lah. Hlangthai palat neh dumlai hlang kut lamloh kai n'hlawt lah.
2 For thou, O God, art my strength: wherefore hast thou cast me off? and why do I go sad of countenance, while the enemy oppresses [me]?
Pathen namah ngawntah ka lunghim pai ni. Ba ham lae kai nan hlahpham? Thunkha kah haemtaek dongah ba ham lae kopang neh ka van eh?
3 Send forth thy light and thy truth: they have led me, and brought me to thy holy mountain, and to thy tabernacles.
Na khosae neh na oltak te han tueih lah. Amih loh na tlang cim neh na tolhmuen la kai m'mawt saeh lamtah n'thak saeh.
4 And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth: I will give thanks to thee on the harp, O God, my God.
Tedae Pathen kah hmueihtuk taengah khaw, Pathen taengah kohoenah neh omngaihnah la ka pha vaengah rhotoeng neh Pathen nang te kan uem bitni ka Pathen aw.
5 Wherefore art thou very sad, O my soul? and wherefore dost thou trouble me? Hope in God; for I will give thanks to him, [who is] the health of my countenance, [and] my God.
Aw ka hinglu badongah na ngam sut tih ka khuiah huenghueng na ko? Pathen te ngaiuep lah. Ka hmai kah khangnah neh ka Pathen amah te ka uem dae lah mako?
