Pea ko eni ʻae fakamoʻoni, kuo foaki ʻe he ʻOtua ʻae moʻui taʻengata kiate kitautolu, pea ko e moʻui ni ʻoku ʻi hono ʻAlo. (aiōnios )
I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (aiōnios )
Kuo u tohi ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni kiate kimoutolu ʻoku tui ki he huafa ʻoe ʻAlo ʻoe ʻOtua, koeʻuhi ke mou ʻilo ʻoku ʻamoutolu ʻae moʻui taʻengata, pea ke mou tui ki he huafa ʻoe ʻAlo ʻoe ʻOtua. (aiōnios )
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios )
Pea ʻoku tau ʻilo kuo haʻu ʻae ʻAlo ʻoe ʻOtua, pea kuo ne foaki ʻae ʻilo kiate kitautolu, ketau ʻiloʻi ia ʻaia ʻoku moʻoni, pea ʻoku tau ʻiate ia ʻoku moʻoni, ʻi hono ʻAlo ko Sisu Kalaisi. Ko eni ʻae ʻOtua moʻoni, mo e moʻui taʻengata. (aiōnios )
because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever: (aiōn )
Koeʻuhi pe ko e moʻoni, ʻaia ʻoku nofoʻia ʻakitautolu, pea ʻe ʻiate kitautolu ia ʻo taʻengata: (aiōn )
And the angels who did not stay within their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling—these He has kept in eternal chains under darkness, bound for judgment on that great day. (aïdios )
Pea ko e kau ʻāngelo naʻe ʻikai ke tuʻumaʻu ʻi honau muʻaki ʻalunga, ka naʻa nau tukuange honau nofoʻanga, kuo ne tuku ke moʻua ʻakinautolu ki he ngaahi haʻi taʻengata ʻoe fakapoʻuli ʻo aʻu ki he fakamaau ʻoe ʻaho lahi. (aïdios )
In like manner, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in sexual immorality and pursued strange flesh, are on display as an example of those who sustain the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios )
ʻO hangē foki ko Sotoma mo Komola, mo e ngaahi kolo naʻa nau vāofi mo fai tatau, ʻonau tuku ʻakinautolu ki he feʻauaki, mo e muimui ki he feholikoviʻaki, kuo fokotuʻu ko e fakaʻilonga, ʻonau moʻua ʻi he totongi ʻoe afi taʻengata. (aiōnios )
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn )
Ko e ngaahi peau lili ʻoe tahi, ʻoku nau koā atu ʻenau fakamā; ko e ngaahi fetuʻu he fano pe, pea kuo tuku moʻonautolu ʻae ʻuliʻuli ʻoe fakapoʻuli taʻengata. (aiōn )
keep yourselves in the love of God as you await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you eternal life. (aiōnios )
ʻO tauhiʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻi he ʻofa ʻae ʻOtua, mo ʻamanaki ki he ʻofa mataʻataʻatā pē ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi ki he moʻui taʻengata. (aiōnios )
to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority through Jesus Christ our Lord before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen. (aiōn )
Ke ʻi he ʻOtua poto taha pe ko hotau Fakamoʻui, ʻae nāunau, mo e ongoongolelei mo e pule, mo e mālohi, ʻi heni mo taʻengata. ʻEmeni. (aiōn )
who has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and power forever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
Pea ne ngaohi ʻakitautolu ko e ngaahi tuʻi, mo e kau taulaʻeiki ki he ʻOtua mo ʻene Tamai; ke ʻiate ia ʻae ongoongolelei mo e pule ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. ʻEmeni. (aiōn )
the Living One. I was dead, and behold, now I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of Death and of Hades. (aiōn , Hadēs )
Ko au ia ʻoku moʻui, ka ne u mate, pea vakai, ʻoku ou moʻui ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata, ʻEmeni; pea kuo ʻiate au ʻae kī ʻo hētesi mo e mate. (aiōn , Hadēs )
And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One seated on the throne who lives forever and ever, (aiōn )
Pea ʻi he ʻatu ʻe he ngaahi meʻa moʻui ko ia ʻae fakaʻapaʻapa mo e ongoongolelei mo e fakafetaʻi kiate ia ʻoku nofo ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻaia ʻoku moʻui lauikuonga pea taʻengata, (aiōn )
the twenty-four elders fall down before the One seated on the throne, and they worship Him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying: (aiōn )
Naʻe fakafoʻohifo ʻae mātuʻa e toko uofulu ma toko fā ʻi he ʻao ʻo ia ʻoku nofo ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻonau hū kiate ia ʻoku moʻui ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata, pea naʻa nau lī honau ngaahi pale ʻi he muʻa nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, mo nau pehē, (aiōn )
And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!” (aiōn )
Pea ne u fanongo ki he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he langi, pea ʻi he māmani, pea ʻi lalo ʻi māmani, pea mo ia ʻoku ʻi he tahi, pea mo kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi ai, naʻa nau pehē, “Ke ʻiate ia ʻoku nofo ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, pea ki he Lami, ʻae fakafetaʻi, mo e fakaʻapaʻapa, mo e ongoongolelei, mo e māfimafi, ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata.” (aiōn )
Then I looked and saw a pale green horse. Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed close behind. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, by famine, by plague, and by the beasts of the earth. (Hadēs )
Pea ne u mamata, pea vakai, ko e hoosi tea: pea ko e hingoa ʻo ia naʻe heka ai ko e Mate, pea naʻe muimui ʻiate ia ʻa Hētesi. Pea naʻe tuku kiate kinaua ʻae mālohi ki hono fā ʻoe vahe ʻo māmani, ke tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā, mo e honge, mo e mate, pea mo e fanga manu fekai ʻoe fonua. (Hadēs )
saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” (aiōn )
ʻonau pehē, “ʻEmeni: Ke ʻi hotau ʻOtua ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata ʻae fakafetaʻi, mo e ongoongolelei, mo e poto, Mo e fakamālō, mo e fakaʻapaʻapa, mo e māfimafi, mo e mālohi. ʻEmeni.” (aiōn )
Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and it was given the key to the pit of the Abyss. (Abyssos )
Pea naʻe ifi ʻe hono nima ʻoe ʻāngelo, pea u mamata naʻe tō ʻae fetuʻu mei he langi ki he fonua; pea naʻe ʻatu kiate ia ʻae kī ʻoe luo taʻehanotakele. (Abyssos )
The star opened the pit of the Abyss, and smoke rose out of it like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. (Abyssos )
Pea naʻe fakaava ʻe ia ʻae luo taʻehanotakele; pea naʻe ʻalu hake ʻae kohu mei he luo, ʻo hangē ko e kohu ʻoe fuʻu luo afi; pea ko e meʻa ʻi he kohu ʻoe luo, naʻe fakapoʻuli ʻae laʻā mo e ʻatā. (Abyssos )
They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek it is Apollyon. (Abyssos )
Pea naʻe ai ʻae tuʻi kiate kinautolu, ko e ʻāngelo ʻoe luo taʻehanotakele, ko hono hingoa ʻi he lea fakaHepelū ko ʻApatoni, ka ko hono hingoa ʻi he lea fakaKiliki ko ʻApolione. (Abyssos )
And he swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: “There will be no more delay! (aiōn )
Pea ne fuakava ʻiate ia ʻoku moʻui ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata, ʻaia naʻa ne fakatupu ʻae langi, mo e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻi ai, mo e fonua, mo e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻi ai, mo e tahi, mo e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻi ai, ʻe ʻikai kei taʻofia: (aiōn )
When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them. (Abyssos )
Pea ka fakaʻosi ʻekinaua ʻena fakamoʻoni, ko e manu fekai ʻoku ʻalu hake mei he luo taʻehanotakele, te ne tauʻi ʻakinaua, pea te ne ikuna ʻakinaua, ʻo tāmateʻi ʻakinaua. (Abyssos )
Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”
Then I saw another angel flying overhead, with the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. (aiōnios )
Pea ne u mamata ki ha ʻāngelo kehe ʻe taha ʻoku puna ʻi he loto langi, kuo ʻiate ia ʻae ongoongolelei taʻengata ke malangaʻaki kiate kinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi he māmani, pea ki he puleʻanga kotoa pē, mo e faʻahinga, mo e lea, mo e kakai, (aiōnios )
And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. Day and night there is no rest for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” (aiōn )
Pea ʻe ʻalu hake ʻae kohu ʻo ʻenau mamahi ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata; pea ʻoku ʻikai te nau mālōlō ʻi ha ʻaho pe ha pō, ʻakinautolu ʻoku hū ki he manu fekai mo hono fakatātā, pea mo ia ʻoku ne maʻu ʻae fakaʻilonga ʻo hono hingoa.” (aiōn )
Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. (aiōn )
Pea ko e tokotaha ʻoe meʻa moʻui ʻe toko fā, naʻa ne ʻatu ki he ʻāngelo ʻe toko fitu ʻae hina koula ʻe fitu, kuo pito ʻi he houhau ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻaia ʻoku moʻui ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. (aiōn )
The beast that you saw—it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be. (Abyssos )
Ko e manu fekai ne ke mamata ai, naʻe ʻi ai, ka ʻoku ʻikai eni; pea ʻe ʻalu hake mei he luo taʻehanotakele, pea ʻe ʻalu ia ki he malaʻia: pea ko kinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi māmani, ʻakinautolu naʻe ʻikai tohi honau hingoa ʻi he tohi ʻoe moʻui talu hono ngaohi ʻo māmani, te nau ofo ʻi heʻenau mamata ki he manu fekai, naʻe ʻi ai, pea ʻoku ʻikai eni, ka ʻoku ʻi ai ni. (Abyssos )
And a second time they called out: “Hallelujah! Her smoke rises forever and ever.” (aiōn )
Pea naʻa nau toe pehē, “Haleluia. Pea naʻe ʻalu hake ʻa hono kohu ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata.” (aiōn )
But the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Limnē Pyr )
Pea naʻe moʻua ʻae manu fekai, pea mo e palōfita loi naʻa ne fai ʻae ngaahi mana ʻi hono ʻao ʻaia naʻa ne kākaaʻi ʻaki ʻakinautolu kuo nau maʻu ʻae fakaʻilonga ʻoe manu fekai, mo kinautolu naʻe hū ki hono fakatātā. Naʻe lī moʻui ʻakinaua fakatouʻosi pe ki he ano ʻoe afi ʻoku vela ʻaki ʻae sulifa. (Limnē Pyr )
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain. (Abyssos )
Pea ne u mamata ki ha ʻāngelo naʻe ʻalu hifo mei langi, kuo ʻiate ia ʻae kī ʻoe luo taʻehanotakele, mo e ukamea fihifihi mo lahi ʻi hono nima. (Abyssos )
And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time. (Abyssos )
ʻO ne lī ia ki he luo taʻehanotakele, mo tāpuni ia ki ai, pea ne ʻai ki ai ʻae meʻa fakamaʻu, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa ne kei kākaaʻi ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga, kaeʻoua ke kakato ʻae taʻu ʻe afe: pea hili ia, ʻe vete ange ia ʻi ha kuonga siʻi. (Abyssos )
And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
Pea ko e tēvolo naʻa ne kākaaʻi ʻakinautolu, naʻe lī ia ki he ano ʻoe afi mo e sulifa, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi ai ʻae manu fekai mo e palōfita loi; pea ʻe fakamamahiʻi ia ʻi he ʻaho mo e pō ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. (Hadēs )
Pea naʻe tuku hake ʻe he tahi ʻae kakai mate naʻe ʻi ai; pea tuku hake ʻe he faʻitoka mo hētesi ʻae kakai mate naʻe ʻi ai: pea naʻe fakamaau ʻakinautolu taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngaahi ngāue. (Hadēs )
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
Pea naʻe lī ʻae mate mo hētesi ki he ano ʻoe afi. Ko eni ʻae mate ʻangaua. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr )
Pea ko ia kotoa pē naʻe ʻikai ʻilo kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ʻoe moʻui, naʻe lī ia ki he ano ʻoe afi. (Limnē Pyr )
But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.” (Limnē Pyr )
Ka ko e loto foʻi, mo e taʻetui, mo e fakalielia, mo e kau fakapō, mo e kau feʻauaki, mo e kau fiemana, mo e kau tauhi tamapua, mo e loi kotoa pē, ko honau tofiʻa ʻoku ʻi he ano ʻoku vela ʻi he afi mo e sulifa: ʻaia ko e mate ʻangaua.” (Limnē Pyr )
There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.
