Psalms 22
1 My God, my God, why have thou forsaken me, far from helping me, and the words of my groaning?
Meu Deus, meu Deus, porque me desamparaste? porque te alongas do meu auxílio e das palavras do meu bramido?
2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answer not, and in the night season, and I am not silent.
Meu Deus, eu clamo de dia, e tu não me ouves; de noite, e não tenho sossego.
3 But thou are holy, O thou who inhabit the praises of Israel.
Porém tu és santo, o que habitas entre os louvores de Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee. They trusted, and thou delivered them.
Em ti confiaram nossos pais; confiaram, e tu os livraste.
5 They cried to thee, and were delivered. They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame.
A ti clamaram e escaparam; em ti confiaram, e não foram confundidos.
6 But I am a worm, and no man, a reproach of men, and despised by the people.
Mas eu sou verme, e não homem, opróbrio dos homens e desprezado do povo.
7 All those who see me laugh me to scorn. They shoot out the lip. They shake the head, saying,
Todos os que veem zombam de mim, arreganham os beiços e meneiam a cabeça, dizendo:
8 He trusted on Jehovah. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.
Confiou no Senhor, que o livre; livre-o, pois nele tem prazer.
9 But thou are he who took me out of the womb. Thou made me trust upon my mother's breasts.
Mas tu és o que me tiraste do ventre: fizeste-me esperar, estando aos peitos de minha mãe.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb. Thou are my God since my mother bore me.
Sobre ti fui lançado desde a madre; tu és o meu Deus desde o ventre de minha mãe.
11 Be not far from me, for trouble is near, for there is none to help.
Não te alongues de mim, pois a angústia está perto, e não há quem ajude.
12 Many bulls have encompassed me. Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me around.
Muitos touros me cercaram; fortes touros de Bazan me rodearam.
13 They gape upon me with their mouth, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
Abriram contra mim suas bocas, como um leão que despedaça e que ruge.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me.
Como água me derramei, e todos os meus ossos se desconjuntaram: o meu coração é como cera, derreteu-se no meio das minhas entranhas.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue clings to my jaws, and thou have brought me into the dust of death.
A minha força se secou como um caco, e a língua se me pega ao paladar: e me puseste no pó da morte.
16 For dogs have encompassed me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They pierced my hands and my feet.
Pois me rodearam cães: o ajuntamento de malfeitores me cercou, traspassaram-me as mãos e os pés.
17 I may count all my bones. They look and stare upon me.
Poderia contar todos os meus ossos: eles o veem e me contemplam.
18 They part my garments among them, and upon my vesture do they cast a lot.
Repartem entre si os meus vestidos, e lançam sortes sobre a minha túnica.
19 But be thou not far off, O Jehovah. O thou my succor, hasten thee to help me.
Mas tu, Senhor, não te alongues de mim: força minha, apressa-te em socorrer-me.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword, the only one of me from the power of the dog.
Livra-me a minha alma da espada, e a minha predileta da força do cão.
21 Save me from the lion's mouth, yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen. Thou have answered me.
Salva-me da boca do leão, sim, ouviste-me, desde as pontas dos unicórnios.
22 I will declare thy name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will praise thee.
Então declararei o teu nome aos meus irmãos: louvar-te-ei no meio da congregação.
23 Ye who fear Jehovah, praise him. All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all ye the seed of Israel.
Vós, que temeis ao Senhor, louvai-o; todos vós, semente de Jacob, glorificai-o; e temei-o todos vós, semente de Israel.
24 For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, neither has he hid his face from him, but when he cried to him, he heard.
Porque não desprezou nem abominou a aflição do aflito, nem escondeu dele o seu rosto; antes, quando ele clamou, o ouviu.
25 From thee comes my praise in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.
O meu louvor virá de ti na grande congregação: pagarei os meus votos perante os que o temem.
26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise Jehovah who seek after him. Let your heart live forever.
Os mansos comerão e se fartarão; louvarão ao Senhor os que o buscam: o vosso coração viverá eternamente.
27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Jehovah, and all the kinfolk of the nations shall worship before thee.
Todos os limites da terra se lembrarão, e se converterão ao Senhor: e todas as gerações das nações adorarão perante a tua face.
28 For the kingdom is Jehovah's, and he is the ruler over the nations.
Porque o reino é do Senhor, e ele domina entre as nações.
29 All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive.
Todos os que na terra são gordos comerão e adorarão, e todos os que descem ao pó se prostrarão perante ele: e ninguém poderá reter viva a sua alma.
30 A seed shall serve him. It shall be told of the Lord to the next generation.
Uma semente o servirá: será contada ao Senhor de geração em geração.
31 They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, that he has done it.
Chegarão e anunciarão a sua justiça ao povo que nascer, porquanto ele o fez.
