< 2 Chronicles 34 >

1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem.
Walo ti tawen ni Josias idi nangrugi isuna nga agturay; nagturay isuna iti 31 a tawen idiay Jerusalem.
2 And he did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, and walked in the ways of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.
Inaramidna ti nalinteg iti imatang ni Yahweh, ken nagbiag isuna a kas iti panagbiag ni David a kapuonanna, ken tinungpalna amin a bilin ti Dios.
3 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father. And in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherim, and the graven images, and the molten images.
Ta iti maikawalo a tawen iti panagturayna, idi agtutubo pay laeng isuna, rinugianannan ti agdaydayaw iti Dios ni David a kapuonanna. Iti maika-12 a tawen, rinugianna a dalusan ti Juda ken Jerusalem babaen iti panangdadaelna kadagiti disso a pagdaydayawan kadagiti didiosen, dagiti imahen ni Asera, dagiti nakitikitan a ladawan, ken dagiti nasukog a ladawan.
4 And they broke down the altars of the Baalim in his presence, and the sun-images that were on high above them he hewed down, and the Asherim, and the graven images, and the molten images, he broke in pieces, and made dust of them, and strewed it upon the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.
Rinebba dagiti tattao dagiti altar ni Baal iti imatang ni Josias; tinumbana dagiti altar a pagpuoran kadagiti insenso nga adda iti ngatoen dagitoy. Binurakburakna dagiti imahen ni Asera ken dagiti nakitikitan a ladawan, ken dagiti nasukog a landok a ladawan agingga a nagbalin a tapok dagitoy. Inwarisna ti tapok kadagiti tanem dagiti nangidatdatag kadagiti daton kadakuada.
5 And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and purged Judah and Jerusalem.
Pinuoranna dagiti tultulang dagiti papadida kadagiti altar a nagdaydayawanda. Iti kastoy a wagas, dinalusanna ti Juda ken Jerusalem.
6 And so also in the cities of Manasseh and Ephraim and Simeon, even to Naphtali, in their ruins round about.
Kasta met laeng ti inaramidna kadagiti siudad iti Manases, Efraim, ken Simeon, agingga iti Neftali, ken kadagiti nadadael a paset iti aglawlaw dagitoy.
7 And he broke down the altars, and beat the Asherim and the graven images into powder, and hewed down all the sun-images throughout all the land of Israel, and returned to Jerusalem.
Rinebbana dagiti altar, binurakburakna dagiti imahen ni Asera ken dagiti nakitikitan a ladawan, ken binurakna dagiti altar a pagpuoran kadagiti insenso iti entero a daga ti Israel; kalpasanna ket nagsubli isuna idiay Jerusalem.
8 Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of Jehovah his God.
Ita, iti maika-18 a tawen iti panagturayna, kalpasan a nadalusan ni Josias ti daga ken ti templo, imbaonna da Safan a putot a lalaki ni Asalias, ni Maasias, a gobernador iti siudad, ken ni Joas a putot a lalaki ni Joacaz a sekritario, a tarimaanenda ti balay ni Yahweh a Diosna.
9 And they came to Hilkiah the high priest, and delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites, the keepers of the threshold, had gathered by the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and by all the remnant of Israel, and by all Judah and Benjamin, and by the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Napanda kenni Hilkias, a nangato a padi, ket intalekda kenkuana ti kuarta a naiyeg iti balay ti Dios, a naur-or dagiti Levita, a guardia dagiti ruangan manipud iti Manases ken Efraim, manipud kadagiti amin a nabatbati iti Israel, manipud iti entero a Juda ken Bejamin, ken kadagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem.
10 And they delivered it into the hand of the workmen who had the oversight of the house of Jehovah. And the workmen who labored in the house of Jehovah gave it to mend and repair the house.
Intalekda ti kuarta kadagiti lallaki a mangimatmaton iti trabaho idiay templo ni Yahweh. Tinangdanan dagitoy a lallaki dagiti trabahador a nangtarimaan ken nangipasdek manen iti templo.
11 Even to the carpenters and to the builders they gave it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings, and to make beams for the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.
Intangdanda dagitoy kadagiti karpentero ken kadagiti agipaspasdek, ken pinanggatangda kadagiti napurmaan a bato, ken kadagiti tabla a pangpatibker, ken maaramid nga adigi para kadagiti paset a binaybay-an a marba dagiti sigud nga ari ti Juda.
12 And the men did the work faithfully. And the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari, and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward, and others of the Levites, all who were skilful with instruments of music.
Sipupudno nga inaramid dagiti lalaki ti trabahoda. Dagiti mangimatmaton kadakuada ket da Jahat ken Obadias, a Levita, a putot a lallaki ni Merari; ken ni Zacarias ken Mesullam, manipud kadagiti putot a lallaki dagiti Koatitas. Dagidiay dadduma a Levita a nalalaing iti musiko ket immatonanda dagiti agtrabtrabaho.
13 Also they were over the bearers of burdens, and set forward all who did the work in every manner of service. And of the Levites there were scribes, and officers, and porters.
Dagitoy a Levita ket isuda ti mangimatmaton kadagiti agbunbunag kadagiti mausar iti pasdek ken kadagiti dadduma a lallaki nga agtrabtrabaho. Adda met dagiti Levita a sekritario, mangimatmaton, ken guardia dagiti ruangan.
14 And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of Jehovah, Hilkiah the priest found the book of the law of Jehovah given by Moses.
Idi inruarda dagiti kuarta a naiyeg iti balay ni Yahweh, nasarakan ni Hilkias a padi Ti Libro ti Linteg ni Yahweh a naited babaen kenni Moises.
15 And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of Jehovah. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.
Kinuna ni Hilkias kenni Safan nga eskriba, “Nasarakak Ti Libro ti Linteg iti balay ni Yahweh.” Impan ni Hilkias ti Libro kenni Safan.
16 And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and moreover brought back word to the king, saying, All that was committed to thy servants, they are doing.
Impan ni Safan ti Libro iti ari, ken kinunana pay kenkuana, “Ar-aramiden dagiti adipenmo dagiti amin a naitalek kadakuada.
17 And they have emptied out the money that was found in the house of Jehovah, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, and into the hand of the workmen.
Innalada amin dagiti kuarta a nakitada iti balay ni Yahweh, ket intalekda daytoy kadagiti mangimatmaton ken kadagiti trabahador.”
18 And Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has delivered a book to me. And Shaphan read therein before the king.
Kinuna ni Safan nga eskriba iti ari, “Adda libro nga inted kaniak ni Hilkias a padi.” Kalpasanna, imbasa ni Safan ti libro iti ari.
19 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he tore his clothes.
Idi mangngeg ti ari dagiti linteg, rinay-abna dagiti pagan-anayna.
20 And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,
Binilin ti ari da Hilkias, ni Ahikam a putot a lalaki ni Safan, ni Abdon a putot a lalaki ni Mika, ni Safan nga eskriba, ken ni Asaias, nga adipenna, a kunana,
21 Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found. For great is the wrath of Jehovah that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of Jehovah, to do according to all that is written in this book.
“Mapanyo saludsoden ti pagayatan ni Yahweh kaniak, ken kadagiti nabati iti Israel ken iti Juda, gapu kadagiti sasao iti libro a nasarakan. Ta nakaro ti pungtot ni Yahweh a naidissuor kadatayo. Nakaro unay, gapu ta saan nga impangag dagiti kapuonantayo dagiti sasao iti daytoy a libro a kas panangtungpal koma kadagiti amin a naisurat iti daytoy a libro.”
22 So Hilkiah, and those whom the king had commanded, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the second quarter), and they spoke to her to that effect.
Isu a ni Hilkias, ken dagiti binilin ti ari, ket napanda kenni Hulda a babai a profeta, nga asawa ni Sallum a putot a lalaki ni Tokat, a putot a lalaki ni Hara, a mangay-aywan kadagiti kawes (agnanaed isuna idiay Jerusalem idiay Maikadua a Distrito), ket kinasaritada isuna iti kastoy a wagas:
23 And she said to them, Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: Tell ye the man who sent you to me,
Kinunana kadakuada, “Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, a Dios ti Israel: 'Ibagayo iti tao a nangibaon kadakayo nga umaykayo kaniak,
24 Thus says Jehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of it, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah.
“Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: 'Dumngegka, mangidissuorakto iti didigra iti daytoy a lugar ken kadagiti agnanaed iti daytoy, dagiti amin a lunod a naisurat iti libro nga imbasada iti sangoanan ti ari ti Juda.
25 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands. Therefore my wrath is poured out upon this place, and it shall not be quenched.
Gapu ta linaksiddak ken nangpuorda kadagiti insenso kadagiti didiosen, tapno pagpungtotendak babaen kadagitoy nga inar-aramidda-ngarud, maidissuorto ti pungtotko iti daytoy a lugar, ket saanto nga agbaaw daytoy.””
26 But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of Jehovah, thus ye shall say to him, Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: As concerning the words which thou have heard,
Ngem maipapan iti ari ti Juda, a nangibaon kadakayo tapno saludsoden ti pagayatan ni Yahweh, kastoy ti ibagayo kenkuana: “Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, a Dios ti Israel: Maipanggep kadagiti sasao a nangngegmo:
27 because thy heart was tender, and thou humbled thyself before God when thou heard his words against this place, and against the inhabitants of it, and have humbled thyself before me, and have torn thy clothes, and wept before me, I also have heard thee, says Jehovah.
'gapu ta nagbabawika, ken nagpakumbabaka iti sangoanan ti Dios idi nangngegmo dagiti sasaona a maibusor iti daytoy a lugar ken kadagiti agnanaed iti daytoy, ken gapu ta nagpakumbabaka iti sangoanak ken rinay-abmo dagiti pagan-anaymo ken immasugka iti sangoanak, impangagka met'-kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
28 Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shall be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of it. And they brought back word to the king.
‘Kitaem, itiponkanto kadagiti kapuonam; natalnanto ti pannakaitanemmo, ken saanto a maimatangan dagiti matam ti uray ania kadagiti didigra nga idissuorko iti daytoy a lugar ken kadagiti agnanaed iti daytoy."”” Impakaammo ngarud dagiti lallaki daytoy a mensahe iti ari.
29 Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
Kalpasanna, nangibaon ti ari kadagiti mensahero ken inummongna dagiti amin a panglakayen iti Juda ken Jerusalem.
30 And the king went up to the house of Jehovah, and all the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, both great and small. And he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of Jehovah.
Kalpasanna, napan ti ari iti balay ni Yahweh, ken dagiti amin a lallaki ti Juda ken dagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem, ken dagiti papadi, Levita, ken amin dagiti tattao, dagiti mararaem ken nanumo. Bayat nga agdengdengngegda, imbasa ti ari dagiti amin a linaon ti Libro ti Tulag a nasarakan idiay balay ni Yahweh.
31 And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.
Nagtakder ti ari iti lugarna ket nakitulag iti sangoanan ni Yahweh, nga agtulnog ken ni Yahweh, ken tungpalenna dagiti bilbilinna, dagiti pammaneknekna iti katulaganna, ken dagiti alagadenna, iti amin a puso ken kararuana, nga agtulnog kadagiti sasao iti katulagan a naisurat iti daytoy a libro.
32 And he caused all who were found in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand to it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.
Pinagkarina dagiti amin nga agnanaed iti Jerusalem ken Benjamin a tungpalenda ti katulagan. Nagtulnog dagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem iti tulag ti Dios, a Dios dagiti kapuonanda.
33 And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the sons of Israel, and made all who were found in Israel to serve, even to serve Jehovah their God. All his days they did not depart from following Jehovah, the God of their fathers.
Inikkat ni Josias dagiti amin a makarimon a banbanag kadagiti daga a kukua dagiti tattao ti Israel. Pinagdayawna kenni Yahweh a Diosda ti tunggal maysa iti Israel. Kadagiti amin nga al-aldawna, saanda a sinalungasing ti panagtulnogda kenni Yahweh a Dios dagiti kapuonanda.
