< Zaburi 2 >
1 Angʼo momiyo ogendini chano timo marach kendo ji chano jiemo kayiem nono?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 Ruodhi mag piny osebiro kanyakla kendo jotelo pimo wach kaachiel, mondo giked gi Jehova Nyasaye kendo giked gi ngʼate mowir.
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
3 “Giwacho ni, wachoduru nyorochegi; kendo wawit ratekegi kucha.”
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 To Jal mobet e kom loch e polo to nyierogi anyiera, Ruoth goyonegi siboi.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Eka okwerogi kokecho kendo obwogogi kopongʼ gi mirima mager, kowacho niya,
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 “Aseketo Ruoth ma adwaro e Sayun, goda maler.”
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 Abiro hulo chenro mag Jehova Nyasaye ma ok lokre: Nowachona niya, “In wuoda; kawuono asedoko wuonu.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Omiyo kwaya gima idwaro mondo aket ogendini duto obed girkeni mari, mondo piny ngima obed mwanduni.
Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
9 Initelnigi kod ludhi mar nyinyo; kendo initogi matindo tindo ka agulu.”
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Kuom mano, un ruodhi, beduru mariek; tangʼuru un joloch mag piny.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Tiuru ne Jehova Nyasaye gi luoro kendo moruru e nyime gi luoro.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Bolreuru e nyim Wuowi, nono to dipo kokecho kodu mi dongʼad ndalou, motieku, nimar iye nyalo wangʼ kodu kadiemo wangʼ. Ji duto mogeno kuome gin joma ogwedhi.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
