1 Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ruoth oil nikech teko ma imiye. Mano kaka en gi mor maduongʼ nikech isemiyo olocho!
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 Isemiye gima chunye gombo kendo pok idagi timone kwayone. (Sela)
Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. (Selah)
3 Ne irwake gi gweth momew kendo nisidho osimbo mar dhahabu maler e wiye.
For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 Ne okwayi ngima kendo ne imiye; ne imede ndalo mochwere manyaka chiengʼ.
He asked life of thee, [and] thou gavest [it] him, [even] length of days for ever and ever.
5 Kuom loch mane ichiwo, duongʼ mare duongʼ; isemiye huma gi luor.
His glory [is] great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 Adier, isemiye gweth mochwere kendo isemiyo obedo mamor gi mor moa kuomi.
For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 Nikech ruoth ogeno kuom Jehova Nyasaye; kuom (hera) ma ok rum mar Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo, ok obi yiengni.
For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
8 Lweti biro mako wasiki duto; lweti ma korachwich biro ndhiyo joma kedo kodi.
Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 E sa ma ibiro chopoe, to ibiro miyo gichal gi kendo mar mach mager. Jehova Nyasaye biro mwonyogi kuom mirimbe mager, kendo mach mare biro tiekogi.
Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 Ibiro tieko kothgi mi rum e piny, kendo nyithindgi biro rumo e dier ji.
Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11 Kata obedo ni gichano timoni marach kendo giloso chenro maricho, to ok ginyal loyo;
For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, [which] they are not able [to perform].
12 nikech ibiro miyo gilok dier ngʼegi ka ibiro dimbogi gi atungʼ moywa.
Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, [when] thou shalt make ready [thine arrows] upon thy strings against the face of them.
13 Yud duongʼ, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kuom tekoni maduongʼ; wabiro wer kendo pako nyalo mari.
Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: [so] will we sing and praise thy power.
