< Mariko 16 >

1 Bangʼ ka Sabato oserumo, Maria ma aa Magdala gi Maria min Jakobo kod Salome nokelo modhi mangʼwe ngʼar mondo giwirgo ringre Yesu.
When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, in order to come and anoint His body.
2 Okinyi mangʼich, odiechiengʼ mokwongo mar juma ka chiengʼ osewuok, negichako wuoth mar dhi kar liel,
So, very soon after sunrise on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb;
3 kendo negipenjore ngʼato gi ngʼato niya, “En ngʼa mabiro ngʼielonwa kidi e dho liel oko?”
and they were saying to one another, 'Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?"
4 To kane gitingʼo wangʼ-gi, negineno ka kidi mangʼongono nosengʼiel oko.
But then, looking up, they saw that the stone was already rolled back: for it was of immense size.
5 Kane gidonjo ei bur, negineno wuowi moro matin morwako kandho marachar kobet e bath bur korachwich, kendo ne gibuok ahinya.
Upon entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at their right hand, clothed in a long white robe. They were astonished and terrified.
6 Wuowino nokwerogi niya, “Weuru bwok. Umanyo Yesu ja-Nazareth, mane ogur. Oonge ka, osechier! Neuru kamane gipiele.
But he said to them, "Do not be terrified. It is Jesus you are looking for--the Nazarene who has been crucified. He has come back to life: He is not here: this is the place where they laid Him.
7 To wuoguru udhi unyis jopuonjrene, kaachiel gi Petro ni, ‘Otelo nyimu odhi Galili. Kuno ema ubiro nenee mana kaka nosenyisou motelo.’”
But go and tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee: and that there you will see Him, as He told you."
8 Mon-go nowuok moringo oa e liel kanyo ka gitetni kendo dhogi omoko, ne ok giwachone ngʼato gimoro amora e yo nikech negiluor. [
So they came out, and fled from the tomb, for they were greatly agitated and surprised; and they said not a word to any one, for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Kane Yesu ochier kogwen, chiengʼ mokwongo mar juma, nofwenyore mokwongo ne Maria ma aa Magdala, mane ogolo jochiende abiriyo kuome.
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) [But He rose to life early on the first day of the week, and appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom He had expelled seven demons.
10 Maria nodhi monyiso jogo mane ni kode, jogo mane ywak kendo jogo mane dengo.
She went and brought the tidings to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping.
11 Kane giwinjo ni Yesu ngima, kendo ni Maria nosenene ne ok giyie.
But they, when they were told that He was alive and that she had seen Him, could not believe it.
12 Bangʼe Yesu nofwenyore ne ji ariyo kuomgi kinde machielo, ka giwuotho e gwengʼ.
Afterwards He showed Himself in another form to two of them as they were walking, on their way into the country.
13 Jogi noduogo monyiso joma moko wachni; to kata kamano ne ok giyie kodgi.
These, again, went and told the news to the rest; but not even them did they believe.
14 Achien Yesu nofwenyore ni joote apar gachiel kane oyudo gichiemo; noseyogi nikech yie mane giongego, kendo nikech chunygi ne tek mane ok ginyal yie jogo mane osenene bangʼ kane osechier.
Later still He showed Himself to the Eleven themselves whilst they were at table, and He upbraided them with their unbelief and obstinacy in not having believed those who had seen Him alive.
15 Nowachonegi niya, “Dhiuru e piny duto mondo uyal Injili ne chwech duto.
Then He said to them, "Go the whole world over, and proclaim the Good News to all mankind.
16 Ngʼato angʼata moyie kendo obatisi nokwo, to ngʼat ma ok oyie bura nolo.
He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
17 To ranyisigi noluw joma oyie: E nyinga giniriemb jochiende; giniwuo gi dhok manyien;
And signs shall attend those who believe, even such as these. By making use of my name they shall expel demons. They shall speak new languages.
18 ginimak thuonde gi lwetgi, kendo ginimodhi kwiri mager, to ok ginihinyre ngangʼ, giniket lwetgi kuom joma tuo, to jotuo nobed mangima.”
They shall take up venomous snakes, and if they drink any deadly poison it shall do them no harm whatever. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover."
19 Bangʼ ka Ruoth Yesu nosewuoyo kodgi nokawe motere e polo, mobedo e bat korachwich mar Nyasaye.
So the Lord Jesus after having thus spoken to them was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 Eka jopuonjre nowuok odhi oko kendo oyalo kuonde duto, to Ruoth notiyo kodgi kendo nosiro wachne gi honni mane oluwore kod yalo.]
But they went out and made proclamation everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming their Message by the signs which accompanied it.]
