ପେରିତ୍ 11
1 ୧ ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମିସା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ ନାମି ଆଚତ୍ ବଲି ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଆରି ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜର୍ ବିନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ ।
Now the Apostles and the brothers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
2 ୨ ପିତର୍ କାଇସେରିଆ ଅନି ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ଗାଲା । ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସୁନତ୍ କରୁ ବଲି କଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ବାକାନିକରି କଇଲାଇ,
When Peter went up to Jerusalem, those of the circumcision party started contending with him,
saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them!”
So Peter began by explaining it to them in order, saying:
5 ୫ “ମୁଇ ଜପା ନାଉଁର୍ ନଅରେ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବା ବେଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦର୍ସନ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲି । ଗଟେକ୍ ବଡେଟା ଚାଦର୍ ଚାରିକନେ ଡର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାନ୍ଦି ଜୁଲାଇଅଇ ଆକାସେଅନି ଉତର୍ଲା ଆରି ସେଟା ମର୍ଲଗେ ଅଟକ୍ଲା ।”
“I was in the town of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain object like a great sheet coming down out of the sky, being lowered by its four corners; and it came to me.
6 ୬ ସେ ବିତ୍ରେ, ଗରେପସ୍ବା ପସୁ, ଡଙ୍ଗ୍ରେ ରଇବା ପସୁ, ରାଙ୍ଗି ବୁଲ୍ବାଟାମନ୍ ଆରି ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ରକାମର୍ ଚଡଇମନ୍ ରଇଲାଟା ନିକକରି ଦେକ୍ଲି ।
Upon peering into it I observed and distinguished the quadrupeds of the earth—both the wild animals and the reptiles—and the birds of the sky.
Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, slaughter and eat!’
8 ୮ ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ କଇଲି, “ନାଇ ମାପ୍ରୁ! ମୁଲ୍କେ ନିଚି! ଆମର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମନାକରିରଇବା ଇସାବେ, ଏବେ ଜାକ କାଇମିସା ମାଉଁସ୍ ଟଣ୍ଡେ ଚିଆଇ ନାଇତା ।”
So I said: ‘No way, Lord! Never has anything ‘common’ or unclean entered my mouth!’
But the voice answered me, a second time, from heaven, ‘Things that God has made clean you must not call ‘common’.’
Well this was done three times, and it was all pulled back up into the sky.
At that very moment three men stopped in front of the house where I was, having been sent from Caesarea to me.
12 ୧୨ ଦୁଇମନିଆ ନ ଅଇ ସେମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜିବାକେ ମକେ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମା ଚାଲ୍ନା ଦେଲା । ଜପାରର୍ ଏ ଚଅଟା ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ମିସା ମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସିସେରିଆଇ ଗାଲାଇ ଆରି ଆମେ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ କର୍ନେଲିଅର୍ ଗରେ କେଟ୍ଲୁ ।
The Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house.
13 ୧୩ ତାର୍ ଗରେ ସେ କେନ୍ତି ସରଗ୍ ଦୁତର୍ ଦର୍ସନ୍ ପାଇରଇଲା, ସେ ବିସଇ ଆମ୍କେ ଜାନାଇଲା । ସରଗ୍ ଦୁତ୍ ତାକେ ଏନ୍ତି କଇରଇଲା, ଜପାତେଇ ରଇବା ପିତର୍କେ, ତାର୍ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ନାଉଁ ଅଇଲାନି ସିମନ୍, ତାକେ ଇତି ଡାକି ଆନ୍ବାକେ ଲକ୍ ପାଟା ।
He then related to us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter,
who will speak words to you by which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 ୧୫ ଆରି ମୁଇ ଜେଡେବଲ୍ ସିକିଆଦେବାର୍ ଆରାମ୍ କଲି, ଆଗେ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ଜେନ୍ତାରି ଆମର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଡାବିଅଇରଇଲା, ସେନ୍ତାରି ସେମନର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଡାବିଅଇଲା ।
Well as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as on us at the beginning.
16 ୧୬ ତାର୍ପଚେ ମୁଇ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ଏ ବାକିଅ ଏତାଇଲି, ଜଅନ୍ ତମ୍କେ ପାନି ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଲା, ମାତର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମ୍କେ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇସି ।
I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you will be baptized with Holy Spirit.’
17 ୧୭ “ଏଟା ପୁରାପୁରନ୍ ସତ୍ ଜେ, ଆମେ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାକେ ପରମେସର୍ ଆମ୍କେ ଜନ୍ ଦାନ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ, ଜିଉଦିନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମିସା ସେ ଦାନ୍ ଦେଲା ଆଚେ । ଜଦି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମନ୍ କର୍ସି ବଇଲେ, ମୁଇ କେ ଜେ ପରମେସରର୍ ଏ କାମ୍ ଅଟ୍କାଇବି!”
So if God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed upon the Lord Jesus, who was I to be able to withstand God?”
18 ୧୮ ଜିଉଦି ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ଏଟା ସୁନ୍ଲା ପଚେ ଆରି ନ ବାକାନିକରି ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କଲାଇ, “ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେ ଜିଉଦିନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମିସା ପାପ୍ କଲାଟା ମାନିଅଇକରି ନ ସାର୍ବା ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇବାକେ ସେ ସୁଜଗ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ ।”
Upon hearing these things they acquiesced and started glorifying God, saying, “So then, God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance into life!”
19 ୧୯ ଜିରୁସାଲେମର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତିପାନ୍କେ ମରାଇଲାପଚେ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେ ତାଡ୍ନା ଦେଲାଇ । ତେଇଅନି କେତେଲକ୍ ଚିନ୍ବିନ୍ ଅଇଗାଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍, ପିନିସିଆ, ସାଇପରସ୍ ଆରି ଆନ୍ଟିଅକ୍ ଟାନେ ଜାଇ ଅବ୍କା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍କେସେ ସୁବ୍ କବର୍ ଜାନାଇଲାଇ ।
Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that came about in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews only.
20 ୨୦ ମାତର୍ କେତେଟା ସାଇପରସ୍ ଆରି କୁରିନିୟର୍ ବିନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍, ଆନ୍ଟିଅକେ ଜାଇ ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ତେଇ ଜିସୁ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ସୁବ୍ କବର୍ ଜାନାଇଲାଇ ।
But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who upon entering Antioch started speaking to the Greek-speakers, preaching the good news of the Lord Jesus.
21 ୨୧ ପରମେସରର୍ ବପୁ ସେମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇଲା ଆରି ବେସି ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ବାଟେ ମନ୍ ବାଉଡାଇଲାଇ ।
And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
22 ୨୨ ଆନ୍ଟିୟକିଆଇ ବେସି ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ଟାନେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇନି ବଲି ଜିରୁସାଲେମର୍ ମଣ୍ଡଲିମନ୍ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ । ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ବର୍ନବାକେ ଆନ୍ଟିୟକିଆଇ ପାଟାଇଲାଇ ।
Well the report concerning them reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch.
23 ୨୩ ବର୍ନବା ତେଇ କେଟିକରି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କେନ୍ତି ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ କଲାଆଚେ, ସେଟା ଦେକି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇଲା । ଆରି ମନ୍ପରାନ୍ ଦେଇକରି ମାପ୍ରୁକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାକେ ସେମନ୍କେ ସିକିଆ ଦେଇ ସାର୍ଦା କଲା ।
Upon arriving and seeing the grace of God, he was glad, and he kept encouraging them all to remain true to the Lord with purpose of heart
24 ୨୪ ବର୍ନବା ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଆରି ବିସ୍ବାସେ ପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇ ରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ରଇଲା । ସେ କବର୍ ଜାନାଇଲାକେ ବେସି ଲକ୍ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇଲାଇ ।
(for he was a good man, full of Holy Spirit and of faith). And a considerable crowd was added to the Lord.
Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 ୨୬ ତେଇ ତାକେ ବେଟ୍ପାଇ ବର୍ନବା ଆନ୍ଟିଅକେ ଡାକି ଦାରିଆଇଲା । ପୁରା ଗଟେକ୍ ବରସ୍ ଜାକ ବର୍ନବା ଆରି ସାଉଲ୍ ତେଇ ମଣ୍ଡଲିର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସି, ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସିକିଆ ଦେଲାଇ । ଏ ଆନ୍ଟିଅକର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସିଗ୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ କିରିସ୍ଟାନ୍ ବଲି କଇରଇଲାଇ ।
and upon finding him he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they met with the congregation and taught a great many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
Now in these days, prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 ୨୮ ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ଆଗାବ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଆତ୍ମାର୍ ବପୁ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇ, ଗୁଲାଇ ଦେସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବଡ୍ ମର୍ଡି ଅଇସି ବଲି ବବିସତ୍ କାତା ସୁନାଇ ରଇଲା । ଏଟା ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ କଲ୍ଡିୟ ରମ୍ଦେସେ ସାସନ୍ କଲାବେଲେ ଗଟି ରଇଲା ।
One of them, named Agabus, stood up and indicated by the Spirit that a great famine was about to come upon the whole world (this indeed happened while Claudius was Caesar).
29 ୨୯ ଆନ୍ଟିକିଅର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଜିଉଦାଇ ରଇଲା ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍କେ ତାକର୍ ପାର୍ଲା ଏତ୍କି ଡାବୁ ପାଟାଇବାକେ ଟିକ୍ କଲାଇ ।
Then the disciples, to the extent that any had plenty, each of them determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea;
which they also did, sending it to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.
