Psalmi 98

1 Psalam. Pjevajte Jahvi pjesmu novu, jer učini djela čudesna. Pobjedu mu pribavi desnica njegova i sveta mišica njegova.

“A psalm.” Sing to the LORD a new song; For he hath done marvellous things; His own right hand and his holy arm have gotten him the victory!

2 Jahve obznani spasenje svoje, pred poganima pravednost objavi.

The LORD hath made known his salvation; His righteousness hath he manifested in the sight of the nations.

3 Spomenu se dobrote i vjernosti prema domu Izraelovu. Svi krajevi svijeta vidješe spasenje Boga našega.

He hath remembered his mercy and truth toward the house of Israel, And all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Sva zemljo, poklikni Jahvi, raduj se, kliči i pjevaj!

Shout unto the LORD, all the earth! Break forth into joy, and exult, and sing!

5 Zapjevajte Jahvi uz citaru, uz citaru i uza zvuke harfe;

Sing to the LORD with the harp, With the harp, and the voice of song!

6 uz trublje i zvuke rogova: kličite Jahvi kralju!

With clarions, and the sound of trumpets, Make a joyful noise before the LORD the King!

7 Neka huči more i što je u njemu, krug zemaljski i stanovnici njegovi!

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein;

8 Rijeke nek' plješću rukama, zajedno s njima neka se brda raduju!

Let the rivers clap their hands, And the mountains rejoice together

9 Jer Jahve dolazi, dolazi suditi zemlji. Vladat će krugom zemaljskim po pravdi i pucima po pravici.

Before the LORD! for he cometh to judge the earth! With righteousness will he judge the world, And the nations with equity.
