以弗所书 6
1 你们作儿女的，要在主里听从父母，这是理所当然的。
Children, do what your parents tell you, for this is the right thing to do.
2 “要孝敬父母，使你得福，在世长寿。”这是第一条带应许的诫命。
“Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment that has a promise attached:
“that things may go well for you and you may live a long life on the earth.”
4 你们作父亲的，不要惹儿女的气，只要照着主的教训和警戒养育他们。
Fathers, don't make your children mad, but look after them by disciplining them and instructing them about God.
5 你们作仆人的，要惧怕战兢，用诚实的心听从你们肉身的主人，好像听从基督一般。
Servants, obey those who are your human masters, with proper respect and awe, doing things from sincere motives as if you were serving Christ.
6 不要只在眼前事奉，像是讨人喜欢的，要像基督的仆人，从心里遵行 神的旨意。
Don't just work well when you're being watched to gain approval, but work like servants of Christ, honestly doing God's will,
7 甘心事奉，好像服事主，不像服事人。
happily serving as if you were doing it for the Lord, and not for people.
8 因为晓得各人所行的善事，不论是为奴的，是自主的，都必按所行的得主的赏赐。
You know that whoever does what's good will be rewarded by the Lord, whether that person is a servant or someone who is free.
9 你们作主人的，待仆人也是一理，不要威吓他们。因为知道，他们和你们同有一位主在天上；他并不偏待人。
Masters, you should treat your servants the same way. Don't threaten them, remember that the Lord in heaven is both their master and yours, and he treats people the same, without favoritism.
10 我还有末了的话：你们要靠着主，倚赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。
Lastly, stay strong in the Lord, and in his mighty power.
11 要穿戴 神所赐的全副军装，就能抵挡魔鬼的诡计。
Put on all the armor of God so you can withstand all the devil's attacks!
We're not fighting against human forces, but against supernatural rulers and powers, the dark lords of this world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. (aiōn g165)
13 所以，要拿起 神所赐的全副军装，好在磨难的日子抵挡仇敌，并且成就了一切，还能站立得住。
Take all the weapons God provides so that you may be able to stand your ground in the day of evil and after doing all you can, to find yourself still standing!
14 所以要站稳了，用真理当作带子束腰，用公义当作护心镜遮胸，
So stand up, wrap the belt of truth around your waist, tie on the breastplate of justice and the right,
15 又用平安的福音当作预备走路的鞋穿在脚上。
and put on the shoes of readiness to share the good news of peace.
16 此外，又拿着信德当作盾牌，可以灭尽那恶者一切的火箭；
Above all, take up the shield of trusting God, by which you'll be able to put out all the devil's flaming arrows.
17 并戴上救恩的头盔，拿着圣灵的宝剑，就是 神的道；
Wear the helmet of salvation, and carry the sword of the Spirit—the Spirit that's the word of God.
18 靠着圣灵，随时多方祷告祈求；并要在此警醒不倦，为众圣徒祈求，
Always pray in the Spirit as you do all this. Stay awake and keep on praying for all God's people.
19 也为我祈求，使我得着口才，能以放胆开口讲明福音的奥秘，
Pray for me too so that I'll be given the right words to say, and that I'll be able to explain confidently the hidden truths of the good news.
20 （我为这福音的奥秘作了带锁链的使者，）并使我照着当尽的本分放胆讲论。
I'm an imprisoned ambassador for the sake of the good news, so please pray that I will speak fearlessly, as I should.
21 今有所亲爱、忠心事奉主的兄弟推基古，他要把我的事情，并我的景况如何全告诉你们，叫你们知道。
Tychicus, our good friend and faithful minister, will give you all my news and explain everything so you'll know how I'm doing.
22 我特意打发他到你们那里去，好叫你们知道我们的光景，又叫他安慰你们的心。
That's why I'm sending him to you—to tell you what's happened to us and to encourage you.
23 愿平安、仁爱、信心从父 神和主耶稣基督归与弟兄们！
Peace to all the Christians there, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, with love and trust in him.
24 并愿所有诚心爱我们主耶稣基督的人都蒙恩惠！
Grace to all those who eternally love our Lord Jesus.
